When we were silly enough to leave a backpack behind, Lisa was absolutely amazing—she arranged to have it posted back to us without a fuss. Now that’s next-level service! 📦💖
The room itself was like stepping into a fairy tale. The four-poster bed was gorgeous, the twinkling fairy lights created such a cosy vibe, and the chocolates on the pillows? Such a sweet, classic touch! 🍫🛏️
We stay in a lot of different accommodations each year, but this one has completely outshone them all. It’s the kind of place that stays with you, long after you’ve left.
Thank you so much, Lisa! We’ll definitely be back.
With sparkles and gratitude,

- Khai (9/5): Great little place for small family or couple - - Host was wonderful: friendly, patient, accommodating, and helped with every enquiry.
- Place was clean and reasonably equipped. Inclusion of Netflix, binoculars and board games is wonderful.
- Would have used fireplace (payable) if it was winter, looked a handy / cozy option.
- Would have visited alpacas on the farm, which the accommodation is on, if we had time.
- It's the little things... Bath tub had bath salts. Sunscreen provided. Lotion provided. Fresh linen. All sorts of towels, fresh. With sweets on top.
- Love how it was quiet.
- Location was perfect to roam around Drysdale (5 min), Ocean Grove (10 min), Point Lonsdale (15 min away).
- Would come again. No deal-breakers, but a few points for improvement:
- WiFi (Skylink) was unstable and usually weak even when sky isn't cloudy. Come on Elon Musk!
- Main four-poster bed is great, but sofa bed in lounge very soft (and a little creaky, though nothing some good old WD40 on the hinges could easily fix).
- Bedroom could use an AC especially during summer (only one AC in lounge). Obviously not an issue during the cold season.
- Water pressure in the bath was great, but in shower was poor and so was its temperature controls. But host promised to change the shower head – proof that host is great.
- Shing (8/5): Very good - location is convenient for cafe, restaurant and beach cooking area a bit small, if need to cook have to use the portable cooking stuffs (no oven) and no milk in fridge, you may ask owner, but I get my own from shop.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Perfect location and accomodation - The quiet, very clean cottage, comfy beds, self sufficient, roomy, close to Adventure Park, would definitely recommend as excellent. Nothing

- Linda (9/5): Will recomend a stay here for sure, loved it - Lovely people and very clean property. We loved the furnishings, too. Very poor reception for mobiles, and the Netflix signal drops out a lot.
- Catherine (10/5): Very relaxing, and perfect for what I needed. - Perfect location, quiet, easy access, close to a lot of places, and so very comfortable, bedroom felt luxurious and warm - will definitely go back again
- Anonymous (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful property. - Very homely and peaceful. Central location for all the beaches, very much enjoyed relaxing and winding down at the accommodation. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
- Charmaine (9/5): Lovey comfortable and spacious retreat. - Lovely spacious well appointed cottage on a quiet farm. The busy suburbs feel far away (even though shops, restaurants , cafes and nurseries are only a short drive away) - so it’s easy to quickly relax. Friendly hosts that respected our privacy.
- Jane (8/5): Not quite as expected, only suitable for couples. - Only suitable for a couple. we request another bed and it was a tiny bed only suitable for a child. definitely not long enough for an adult.
We had no TV reception so could not watch the coronation as planned, so that was very disappointing. Wifi was terrible as well.
- Monika (10/5): A great place away from home. - Quiet, clean and comfortable place to spend a night. I loved the lights over the bed :). Everything was cute and perfect. The hostess was very lovely.

- Paul (10/5): Peaceful place - Comfortable bed and bathtub. The entrance to the property is quite hard to detect in the dark.
- Peter (10/5): a great place to stay, particularly if you are doing the Q train experience. - Clean, convenient location, quiet, comfortable and ice main bedroom.
- Anonymous (10/5): We wish we stayed longer than two days. We want to go again. - It was a very beautiful cosy little cottage , nicely decorated by the host Lisa . It was very clean and tidy. We really loved the comfortable bed and the quality bedding . The house is surrounded by beautiful rose garden and an orchard. The host , farmer Fin and his lovely wife Lisa were so kind and friendly. They took us on a walking tour into the paddock to meet their animals ( cattle, Alpaca, goats ) and also to their orchard. Lisa even let us pick some plums from their tree .
Fin and Lisa were one of the most lovely and friendly hosts we ever met. Nothing to mention.

- Jenny (10/5): Short, but very comfortable relax in a beautiful garden - The space is comfortable and very welcoming. The cottage whilst located on a main road, is well back from the road, and is situated in a beautiful garden setting. The main road provides a very convemient access to Drysdale and to other towns on the Bellarine Peninsular. The cottage was incredible comfortable and very well appointed

- Kylee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (7/5): Last minute available in Jan so happy - So clean. Friendly hosts Size for 5 adults
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Lovely cottage for a couple close to many attractions and in a peaceful location. - The cottage felt cared for and gave a good sense of privacy. The rooms were spacious and the bedroom was separate from the lounge area. The hosts were friendly, helpful and gave us space. We felt confident that the hosts took care to ensure Covid safety for guests. Great location.
- Marcus (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Jaclyn (9/5): Lisa was kind and lovely and incredibly helpful and friendly. - It was a beautiful place to stay offering quiet and opportunity for a much needed break away for my partner and I. It was homely and clean and fresh. A fresh jug of milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sheets and douvet.
- Dee (9/5): Superb - Lisa was very accommodating.
We were welcomed with beautiful aromatic roses from her garden as well as freshly laid eggs. There was milk in the fridge for our cuppas and cold water. The heater was turned on so it was lovely and warm on our arrival. The bed was sensationally comfortable and beautifully presented. Hints of a romantic ambiance was sprinkled through out the cottage. Although attached our space remained private. This isn't a "did not like" answer but a suggestion.
I was asked if I wanted to use the fire and if I did Lisa would chop up wood and kindling and bring it over. The first night wasn't required, however the second night it would have been lovely to have a fire - not only for warmth but for the ambiance. I didn't want to be a bother.
I guess it would have been great if the fire had been layed and wood in the wood box.
It's always nice to open the freezer and have ice ready to use. An ice tray was provided.
