Guest Reviews
- Ness (10/5): Cosy, comfy and 10/10 - Very spacious and amazing central location. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, bath which was incredible for the baby, and 2L of milk provided - game changer! And having a high chair was also great. Very minor thing - rubber seal needs to be put on the bottom of the shower to stop it from dripping on the floor because the door didn’t close properly
- Lee (9/5): Lovely relaxing weekend - Clean and safe yard for dogs
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Beautifully presented place. Comfortable, warm and well positioned. Not the fault of the owners but the day we arrived the next doors dogs barked almost constantly from mid afternoon until about 10pm at night.
- Rodel (8/5): Nice Cottage. Centrally located. - Location was good for us. It may be noisy for some as it is near a busy road and opposite a nursery.
The internal renovations were very well done. The floor plan suited our needs. The living/dining room area was nice especially in the late afternoon/evening.
The communication with the host was very good. The front garden either needs to be cut back, or at least tidied up. The photo on booking.com must be an earlier photo, as the garden is much more overgrown. The backyard area needs a little tidying up.
There was no free to air channels through the foxtel set top box, which was odd.
We could not find any pegs other than the handful on the clothes line which were covered in cobwebs.
- Lia (10/5): Comfortable and clean. Very central and easy to walk to town. - Amazing location
- Emma (10/5): Clean, Comfortable Stay. - Extremely clean which I very much appreciate , arrived to curtains closed and air con on for the hot day that was a very happy surprise. Everything you need for a weekend stay. Perfect location. Nothing I didn’t like.
- Carolyn (8/5): -
- Lyndal (9/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Good place to stay in Healsville - Excellent location, nice clean property. Tubble dryer would have been nice as it was raining so couldn't dry clothes outside.
- Jennifer (8/5): Enjoyed the stay - Convenient location for our needs
Pet friendly Limited supplies in kitchen, garbage bags, paper towel etc
- Andrew (10/5): Would recommend for a grown-up get-away. - Location close to the places we wanted to be. The central heating was most welcome as we travelled from a much warmer place. The usual supplies in the kitchen were great on arrival. An electrical outlet in the bathroom would have been nice but there is one in the laundry cupboard just outside the bathroom that worked with our hair dryer. The two doors in the bathroom would not stay closed if you had the ventilation fan running. Putting the bath mat against them worked.
- lauton (10/5): - I loved the location and the property was very close to the venue that we attended for a family wedding. The location was also very close to everything in the town..... Coles was literally a few minutes drive away. It was also lovely dealing with Sarah. If I need to visit the area,I would definitely book the accommodation again. Honestly,I cannot fault anything about Healesville cottage.
- Sandra (10/5): Comfortable two bedroom cottage close to all Yarra wineries and Healesville. -
- Jenny (6/5): Good location, needs new cleaner. - Good location. Facilities were good. Wasn’t particularly clean. Found used tissue in bedroom. Mouldy food in fogo bin. No working clock (clock needed batteries). Only 1 tea towel doesn’t seem sufficient for property.
- Mara (9/5): -
- Kylie Carlson (10/5): Cosy Cottage in the heart of Healesville - What a gorgeous little cottage tucked in behind the main street of Healesville. This was just perfect for our family to come together and spend a weekend away, celebrating a wedding. It was neat and clean and had everything we needed.
- Rebecca (8/5): -
- Michele (8/5): Comfy, clean and cosy! - Excellent location, just a nice stroll to restaurants and cafes in Healesville village. The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived and we were able to settle in and relax straight away. Loved it!
- Nicole (10/5): Book now or be disappointed - Immaculately clean and comfortable
Perfect travellers rest

- Racquelle (10/5): Our stay was excellent, clean and comfortable and fantastic location. The hosts were amazing. - Excellent location
- Broll (9/5): Good value and great location - It was very well located and suited our needs. It was clean and comfortable and for the purpose of our stay it was absolutely fine Our only negative comments are that there should be more towels and they were very hard. The shower isn’t great, but adequate
- Ann (9/5): Well located, clean and comfortable house for a short stay in the area. - House was very convenient walking distance from the main shopping strip. Host was very polite and courteous.
All rooms in the house were very clean. Comfortable beds and sufficient kitchen and laundry supplies. Just a minor suggestion.... a little more greenery on the back fence would enhance the outdoor area.
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Georgina (10/5): An amazing escape to Healesville - The perfect location! Walking distance from the main street of Healesville, with cafes, restaurants, cellar doors and the Four Pillars Gin Distillery. It was set up perfectly with everything we needed, from coffee to an ironing board. Communication was great in the leadup to our stay, and I would stay again. The photos don't do it justice. It was even better in reality. Everything was great - nothing negative to report!
- Dean (9/5): A great base for exploring Healesville! - Convenient and well equipped for our family group, providing all we needed for a great stay.
- Molly (9/5): Superb - Cleanliness - very clean and tidy
Proximity - close to Main Street and Healesville Sanctuary
Facilities - Great for young kids and families
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (8/5): Comfy stay for my family - Very spacious with an excellent kitchen. Good location, close to town and very close to the Four Pillars distillery.
- Patricia (7/5): Pleasant stay - Cleanliness and comfortable beds Everything was very basic there was no above and beyond ( those extra touches)
A lot of money for what we got
Comparison to a place I stayed a few days ago for a similar price in Hepburn springs you couldn’t compare
😀
- Leeann (10/5): Practically Perfect! - Loved this cottage! It was so nice I wish we could have stayed longer. The living area and outside deck was so nice to hang out in. it was close to town and even closer to the distillery! I'd definately stay there again No lock on the bathroom door which was access by the front bedroom as well as the hall. Door kept blowing open. Kinda awkard when travelling with friends. But other than everything was great.
- Timothy (10/5): Lovely weekend in Healesville - Good location, comfy beds, nice clean bathroom, nice living area Nil

- Cheryl (9/5): Healesville Cottage EXCELLENT stay! - Very nice little cottage, appreciated the full kitchen utensils, also the electric BBQ, coffee machine and condiments. The location is great, 5 mins from 4Pillars, 10mins walk from town. Foxtel TV too!
Very comfortable, livable spa Noise from the road in early morning but manageable. Beds a bit soft side but we tend to like firmer beds

- Nivonne (8/5): Only stayed one night but will definitely book in for longer next time. Great little cottage. - Great location within walking distance to shops. Comfortable and very clean accommodation. Could have had a bedside table on both sides of bed and couldn’t open window in bedroom. Only minor inconveniences so we weren’t that bothered.
- Sandra (10/5): Great - Location, excellent facility's, modern upto date Pillows were flat.
Front door only locks with keys from inside.
- D (8/5): Very close to Healesville town, convenient to everything we wanted to do. - Everything was good. There was a secure backyard for the dog. All the rooms were a good size, neat, tidy and clean. Only problem was the traffic noise from the Highway during Thursday, Friday night was much better.
- Caitlin (9/5): Superb -
- Kay (9/5): Great - Well equipped
Modern
Clean
Comfortable Back garden a little untidy and did not look inviting to sit outdoors
- Luke (9/5): Very enjoyable and easy - Very clean
Good communication from host
Close to Main Street of the town I do think it is a little overpriced but had no other options for this weekend so had to pay the extra $
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Great location being close to the town centre. Everything was in place, clean and functional.
The beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were nice..
I called the owner who was nice and helpful. I couldn't get cable channels as stated..
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Very well equipped and comfy
- Chai (9/5): Cost - Comfortable Nil
- Anika (7/5): Good - The location was great and the house was spacious and light filled. The living area was huge and if the weather had been nice the courtyard would have been the most perfect place to sit. The only thing we didn't like was there was a very damp smell coming from the toilet and in the wardrobe in the second room. It had been raining a lot in the days leading up to the stay so it could have just been related to that. Overall though it was quite minor.
- Tania (10/5): Great cottage close to town. Was able to take my little dogs which was a big plus. Great communication by hosts. Will de - Walking distance to Main Street and good venues. Great communication from hosts. Highly recommend. Will stay again.

The property provided what we needed Everything was as expected
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roy (10/5): Excellent place to stay. - Geographic location was excellent for our plans, Cottage, equipment and furnishings made it a homely place to stay. Location was generally good but landscape suppliers opposite meant customers were often parked opposite our driveway causing some difficulty to enter and leave the driveway.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Great place to stay for a day or an extended holiday - Pet friendly, handy to shops, great facilities, easy to book (last minute booking), able to prepare own meals easily (BBQ) etc
- Rob (9/5): Superb - Location to main Street.. relatively modern inside..met our needs Sheet in 2nd bedroom had a couple of very small old blood stains.... otherwise nothing else

- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (7/5): Good -
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tai (9/5): A cosy night's stay - The cottage has a very homely vibe. It's clean and looked newly renovated and modern on the inside although from the outside of looks dated. Everything worked as it should. Was really happy that the central heating was fully functional, as it got a bit chilly at night. The location is very near to town. The shower area could be a potential slipping hazard because after showering, the water was not contained, and some had spilt outside.
- Just (9/5): Great time - The set up of the place was great. Nil
- Lauren (9/5): All the little things considered. Hosts are thoughtful - Would definitely stay here again. -

- Jo (8/5): Quaint warm and comfy cottage - an easy work to the village, coffee and cute boutique stores - We organised our own breakfast but loved the coffee pods left for our use
- Julie-anne (8/5): terrific stay but not used to hard bed. Both our backs and necks are sore. - Considerate and generous renters- milk, coffee - good quality, Foxtel, etc bed… hard!

- Donna (8/5): Very good - great location. comfortable beds. lovely outlook from the courtyard.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Liked the area, the quaint cottage feel, the heating.
We were there for a wedding, and it suited us admirably. Loved the light in the mornings, and the sunshine. And it was lovely and warm at night. Only a couple of little things could have been better, but they were quite manageable.
Clothes hangers - maybe a few more, unless I didn’t find them? Or some ‘drawer’ space?
Couple more towels?
And the gas hob - one plate didn’t seem to work, but another did, so all good.
- Simon (10/5): Nice and roomy and great option for people who have pets! -
