- john (8/5): loved it , would use again and highly recommend - On arrival we found the place very clean ,There was a welcome backet consisting of a bottle of Prosecco, locally made chocolate, biscuits and fudge. We used fire places as it was a wet weekend and that gave the house a comfortable, warm and inviting feel . The beds were very comfortable. Great coffee and eats just around the corner. Highly recommend Internet connection was a hassle/difficult to connect to .

- Gerald (9/5): Great location and facilities - location
- Malcolm (9/5): Lovely house enhanced the location - The decor was nice and the property well located. All 4 bedrooms were lovely. The noise - bus stop and traffic lights mean a lot of traffic. Also the coffee shop next door played music at 8am which ruins your lay in
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Isabel (7/5): Lovely and comfortable stay overall. - Nice central location, very comfortable beds and bedding, nice house. Located right on the main street and can be noisy. Soundproof windows would be nice for the bedrooms facing the street.
- Diane (8/5): Very good - The house is in a great location and furnished tastefully. Wonder layout for a family. More specific parking instructions would have been helpful and the code that we received for the lockbox was incorrect.
- Acckk1 (10/5): Exceptional - This was the second year in a row that we have stayed at McKenzie House. We loved being able to walk everywhere (to shops, cafes, pubs, distilleries, etc). The beds are very comfy and the fireplaces make the accommodation very cosy We were unable to fault anything, except that we noticed a slight musty, mouldy smell upon entering the house initially
- Milly (9/5): Superb -
- Josip (10/5): Exceptional - House was very central, walking distance to restaurants and cafes.
House was very warm, beds were big and comfortable Everything was great but could get a little noisy from buses but that comes with being so central
- Bronwyn (9/5): highly recommend. beautiful house with great hosts - location was fabulous. great heating. large bedrooms.
treats left by hosts. decor was attention to detail noisy bus stop out front

- Dee (10/5): Beautifully appointed house in Healsville, lots of room and very comfortable - House is beautiful. Comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft fluffy towels. Beautifully decorated. Lots of room for 6 of us. right in town so walk to shops, restaurants etc The pub opposite was very noisy. Karaoke night until the early hours. Then people making noise as they left.
Not the fault of the property as it’s beyond their control.
Water pressure in upstairs shower wasn’t very good.

- Eric (10/5): Excellent accommodation to end our two-week road trip through Victoria with life-long friends. - We love old houses with so much character but which still offer the creature comforts. Spacious, with several living rooms and very comfortable king size beds in all 4 bedrooms. We were travelling as three couples so was great for our needs. Heating was excellent, and location in the centre of town was perfect. Nice touch with bottle of wine, chocolate and biscuits on arrival. Communication with property manager was excellent. Also some very good reading books and magazines. Downstairs bathroom very functional but need to be careful of slippery shower tiles. Upstairs bathroom shower water temperature control was very average. Hot water took long time to come, then very difficult to regulate temperature with the cold water. Only a minor thing - took a while to work out how to regulate the dining room gas heater as no instructions, but easy to do once we had worked it out.
