- KELLY (10/5): Absolutely wonderful property, great location / views and the house is so very clean and well mainta -
- Paulina (10/5): - The house was lovely with great views. Location was great. Only a short walk to the main street. The stove could do with a good scrub. The rest of the property was clean and fresh.
- Pauline (9/5): Felt like home with a wonderful view - Very comfortable stay - felt like home. Everything was neat and tidy and welcoming. And all the facilities and appliances worked well! The kitchen was quite large and well equipped so we could self-cater for the whole of the stay. The main bedroom and ensuite was separate from the other two bedrooms and bathroom, allowing peace and quiet. We also took advantage of the laundry.
We loved the location which was handy to the main street of Healesville, yet it felt quite private. And the view! Perfect! It was a pleasure to have breakfast on the balcony overlooking trees and mountains.
Thank you for the bottle of wine and helping us out with some special needs - your kindness much appreciated. The driveway is quite steep, requiring good vehicle ground clearance. But there was adequate turning space at the top which made things a bit easier. No street parking to speak of.

Lovely open plan living
Tasteful furnishings Nothing
- Vicki (8/5): Lovely house on the hill - lots of space and a porch with a view. - Liked · Neat and clean place. We enjoyed the beautiful porch and its vista - the perfect spot for breakfast and BBQ dinner. Bring a comfy camp chair as its a stunning spot to sit, read and bird watch. Could be better · Quite new setup and needs a few more things in the kitchen. Some things felt scroogey - 4x dishwasher pods & hardly any liquid, 6x coffee pods for 4-6 people for 2 nights (BYO ground - there's a stovetop). Thin walls if your guests are noisy/kids. Double size 2nd bed. Hilly walk from town. Need mosquito coils or aeroguard for twilight outside. For the high cost we thought a few local produce items/gift basket or something a little "extra" would be nice.

- Sue (10/5): A great house for a relaxing break that is centrally located in the Yarra Valley. - The location in a very quiet street on the edge of town, and the mountain views were great. The house was very comfortable and included everything we needed.
- Gary (10/5): A home away from home in beautiful Healesville - A large and comfortable house that had great views. Close to the main street of Healesville. In a quiet elevated area. Great communication with the host prior to arrival. The house was as good as it looked in the pics. Only a minor thing, but perhaps the host might put a bigger mirror in the back section of the house. Also, the host might make guests aware of the steepness of the driveway as one of our group struggled to walk up/down the driveway.
- Anthony (9/5): House was well liked by the family for homely and comfortable ambience. Location was just right and -
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional property. Will definitely book again when in the region. -
- Judith (7/5): It was a good place to stay for a long weekend. - Lovely house with a beautiful view and nice and cool over a very hot weekend. The queen bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. BBQ was very dirty and the rubbish bins were overflowing.
- David (9/5): PERFECT - STAYED TO ATTEND A CONCERT NEARBY, IDEAL LOCATION, GREAT VIEWS, LOVERLY TOWN WITH ALL SERVICES
WOULD CERTAINLY RE-BOOK IF THE NEED ARISES. STEEP DRIVEWAY
- Brian (9/5): Brilliant apart from the small problems above - Loved the location and the views,
Has everything you need for a longer term stay
And the price was pretty good. Outside rubbish bins were overflowing even when we arrive.
Knives and glasses left in dishwasher by previous guests didn’t look like they had been washed.
Shower floor and bath were extremely slippery.
- Dimiti (10/5): Quick getaway - Very clean and well presented. Easy stroll downhill to the town centre. Beds were a bit uncomfortable probably could be upgraded.
- Lynda (7/5): Good - Great location. The house is lovely, clean and great accommodations. Lovely views. The local agent looking after the property Ivana at First National Real Estate Healesville charged and EXTRA $44.00 on top of the Booking.com fee! This is outrageous and NOT the norm!
The stove top needs fixing and an electric kettle would be much better for use and convenience.
The TV needs to be configured to be able to watch alternative channels.
- Rebecca (7/5): Would have been a wonderful stay if not for the terrible master bed and in effective heating system. We were freezing an - Great location, excellent kitchen, very quaint cottage and nice view. The master bed was terribly uncomfortable, my husband and I didn’t sleep a wink, which affected our family holiday. The mattress sagged and squeaked so badly, there was no support, I resorted to sleeping on the trundle bed in my son’s room. A new mattress wound make an incredible difference to this property.
The other big problem was the heating system, the central heating didn’t circulate to the bedrooms - which were FREEZING! The beds only had very thin blankets and no spares. We reached out to the property manager, asking for blankets and/or heating to be fixed but because we were there over the weekend, didn’t get a reply until it was too late.
- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Beautiful location and views for a group trip away - Large, spacious property with great facilities (good central heating, because it was very cold!). great views, very easy communication with management staff did have an issue with the linen as I believe the cleaner had left before she had finished- beds were unmade (linen for beds was just on the bed or floor) & one bed had no linen. it was resolved quickly though and staff were very prompt and easy to deal with to fix the issue.
- Stephanie (9/5): relaxing weekend away in a clean and cozy house! - the house was clean, comfortable and nice and warm!
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (10/5): A lovely stay with beautiful views. - Very clean. Fantastic views. Perfect location.
- Brendan (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (8/5): Very clean and spacious with good facility. - Very clean and spacious. Extra blankets. Clothes horse for drying clothes inside. Construction nearby - blocked access road and an eye sore.
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay. House was lovely with everything we needed for our weekend away. The deck and views were amazing. A bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch. The lamp in the single bedroom sounded/looked like it had an electrical fault and could not be used. We have unplugged it.
- Jo (9/5): Excellent stay we will be back - Location was perfect. Could have been more mirrors as there were 5 of us trying to use the two mirrors. Lighting wasn't great in the bathroom No electric Kettle
- Jeremy (10/5): Beautiful house, beautiful location no matter your purpose. - This is such a lovely house, set in a beautiful location with amazing and inspiring views. The house had everything we needed and was hard to justify heading out at all. Healesville itself has so much to do and see, we could have spent more time and will definately come back. Nothing really, however the driveway is a bit intimidating and is as steep as i have ever attempted. Not that there is anything that could be done about this anyway, as it is obviously hte standard in the area.
- Kerrie (9/5): Lovely stay, we would go back again. - The property was lovely and the deck and views were amazing. The layout was good and the kitchen well equipped. Central heating enabled the house to be warmed quickly. The opportunity to walk into town is not really feasible, particularly when dark. The driveway a little tricky, but much easier to maneuver once the garage was open.
