- Eve (9/5): Un hôte exceptionnel et un lieu parfait pour profiter des attraits de la région - Au départ, Tomas est un hôte exceptionnel, il fait tout pour que le séjour soit parfait. Le studio que nous avons réservé était très propre, confortable et bien équipé. Tomas nous a fait de nombreuses recommandations pour bien profiter de notre séjour. La température n’a pas été clémente pour bien admirer le site mais la région est très intéressante. À courte distance du volcan Poás et du parc La Paz. Je le recommande fortement. Tout état génial. Petit bémol sur la douche qui déborde sur le plancher mais c’est un petit détail qui n’altère en rien notre appréciation de l’endroit.

- Veselov (8/5): - Great WiFi. We were not able to enjoy the view as it was foggy and rainy that day. Too detailed property instructions sent by the owner. No guardrail on the upper level of the bunk bed. The breakfast was great but no drink other than coffee for a kid.
- Emil (9/5): Świetne miejsce dla zwiedzających okolicę - Świetny kontakt z właścicielem, był życzliwy i pomocny (chociaż w trakcie naszego pobytu był poza obiektem i mieliśmy kontakt tylko przez Whatsup). Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko pięknych miejsc i atrakcji. W domku jest dobre WiFi, jest farelka (bardzo potrzebna, bo noce są zimne!). Domek jest nowoczesny, ze świetnie wyposażoną kuchnią oraz dodatkowym tarasem (ze stołem i dwoma krzesłami) od strony lasu. Na terenie działki były poidełka dla kolibrów. Brak recepcji. Dość mały parking. Materac był dość niewygodny. Przestrzeń łazienki jest połączona z jadalnią/salonikiem poprzez ziemię z roślinami (dla pary czy rodziny ok, dla grupy osób może być to mniej komfortowe).

- Martha (10/5): All the modern amenities in a remote cabin with personal attention. - The location near La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Poas Volcano was perfect. The cabin was modern with anything and everything you would want in the kitchen. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of comforters and blankets and pillows (high grade). No air conditioning is needed. It gets very cool at night you actually need to use the space heater provided. The shower has great water good water pressure and hot water. We were provided with a very delicious breakfast each morning brought to our cabin. The cabin was an excellent stay and a great value. The owner despite being out of town meeting a new grandchild communicated with us several times whenever we had questions and gave us great recommendations on places to eat that made our stay extra special. Tomás was an outstanding host who made sure we had everything we needed during our short stay. He provided us with some great tips for things to do in the region, and even upgraded our room without charging us extra. We were really happy to have made this a stop on our itinerary, and highly recommend making a visit!
- AMY (8/5): Beautiful Views of Poás Volcano - Beautiful views and spacious living room and kitchen. The beds were comfortable but are standard doubles, not queen-sized. Large TV with ESPN for those of us who enjoy watching sports. Tomás was very helpful. He gave us some excellent tips for our journey to La Fortuna. The bathroom was very small and not updated. There was no heater in it, the water pressure was low and not very warm. Because it was a chilly morning, it wasn't comfortable for taking a shower.

Gleich in der Nähe kann man eine sehr schöne Wanderung durch den Wald zu einer Kapelle machen. Der Gastgeber war über whatsapp ständig erreichbar und gab wertvolle Hinweise für die Umgebung. Alles sehr empfehlenswert!
- Timothy (8/5): Huge house with View - They house was huge with nice amenities. There was just 2 of us, so we didn't even use the upper floor. We were glad there were heaters in the bedroom because it was quite cold while we were there. The included breakfast was a nice treat. It was nice having a large TV with Netflix because it was very cold and rainy while we were there. The host was very friendly, checked in with us multiple times, and made some suggestions of things to do in the area. There was a breeze in the bathroom on the main floor, so it was quite cold taking a shower (the ceiling was very high, so we weren't sure where the breeze was coming from). Though the tico shower worked fine, it didn't really put out enough hot water with the breeze to keep you warm. My wife was surprised a couple times with some large crickets in the bathroom. Parking is a little ways from the house, and with the rain made it a little challenging loading/unloading the SUV we had.

What a pretty place I would definitely recommend it. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked.

The house was built by himself and you can see he put all his heart in it...the view was said to be amazing, but we arrived and left in the dark....real panoramic view!! NOTHING

La finca como tal no se presta para transitar , no hay nadie que te atienda . No tiene ningún mantenimiento.
- Hartmut Krause (5/5): - Das Panorama was uns geboten wurde war sehr schön. Bedingt durch den extremen Nebel war die Sicht stark behindert, wofür niemand etwas kann. Wenn die Wolken weniger wurden konnte man diese Aussicht genießen. Die Austattung der Unterkunft war Ok. Bedingt durch die Lage der Unterkunft, 2500 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel, der entsprechenden Temperatur und Witterung könnte man eine bessere Heizmoglichkeit erwarten. Diese kleine, elektrische Heizofen war in diesem Raum leider nicht ausreichend. Es mag bei optimalen Bedingungen vielleicht ausreichend sein.

Letto comodo con lenzuola e asciugamani di qualità. La casetta aveva tutte le vetrate per potersi godere il paesaggio e uno spazio esterno con sedie per rilassarsi in mezzo alla natura. Ottima interazione con i proprietari che non sono riusciti ad essere presenti ma ci hanno fornito tantissime indicazioni e si sono sempre interessati che riuscissimo ad arrivare e che tutto fosse a posto. Colazione abbondante e ottima. Ci è piaciuto tutto

- hexin (5/5): We definitely don’t choose this place if we know defacts ahead. - The bed is comfortable There was no hot water and the landlord asked us to check the hot water switch! It’s ridiculous. The landlord should come and check by himself! And the stove is so tiny. It doesn’t work at first. And the landlord asked someone else to come to the property and repaired it. But the stove is way too small to even feel the temperature. We have been freezing the whole night, especially for the people sleep on the bulk bed. They don’t have AC, but it says they have in the room description.

The one bedroom house is great and has a picturesque view to the volcano. We would definitely recommend to stay at this place and for sure will come back if we are in Costa Rica again.

The unit was the size of a condo and views of the farm and volcano were beautiful. Parking was on site and safe; the property is gated. The property is well located to enjoy area activities, and it makes an excellent stopover on the way to La Fortuna. The owner is beyond generous with his time and knowledge of the area. Breakfast was homemade and brought to my door. I liked it all.

- D (9/5): בקתה מושלמת במתחם מקסים - הבקתה מרווחת, עם מיטה זוגית ומיטת קומותיים. המטבח מאובזר והמקלחת מרווחת. הנוף הנשקף מהחלונות הענקיים עוצר נשימה. יש מרפסת קטנה וחמודה. יש חניה חופשית מקורה במתחם. ארוחת הבוקר קוסטריקנית טיפוסית מוגשת לחדר. בעל הדירה תומאס היה מאד שירותי ואדיב וענה לכל שאלה וכן נתן לנו טיפים רבים לגבי אטרקציות ומסעדות באזור השיטה של חימום המים במקלחת הייתה לנו מעט מסובכת. למרות ההסבר המפורט של תומאס, אנחנו לא הצלחנו לפצח את השיטה ונאלצנו להתקלח במים קרים. המתחם מקסים, רק יש להיערך לכך שהוא מבודד והמסעדות באזור בתקופה בה אנחנו היינו נסגרו בשעה יחסית מוקדמת (18:30-19:00)

El desayuno del día 1 estuvo excelente, muy completo. La casa está muy bien equipada. La gente que trabaja con Tomás todos muy atentos. El día dos el desayuno no tenia fruta ni café, como el día uno

Doña Isa también súper amable y cálida. Se nota el compromiso con los huéspedes y la dedicación para que vivas una experiencia excepcional. Estaba impecablemente limpio, indescriptible estar en el medio de la montaña con esas vistas y siendo parte de la naturelza, no dejen de conocerlo! Valoro muchísimo el plus social de alojarse con ellos ya que dedican los recursos del alojamiento para educación e investigación y compromiso social. No tengo nada para mencionar.
- Susanne (8/5): Freundlicher Gastgeber verhilft zu aussergewöhnlichen Erlebnissen in der Gegend. - Ländliche Lage, viele Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten in der Nähe. Der Gastgeber hat uns super Tipps für Aktivitäten und Restaurants gegeben. Das war extrem hilfreich! Die Küchenausstattung hat mich nicht zum Kochen eingeladen. Da wir viele Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten auswärts hatten, war es nicht nötig, selber zu kochen. Ein traditionelles Frühstück haben wir im Nachbarshaus genossen.

- Rohan (8/5): Comfortable stay with breathtaking volcano views and warm hospitality! - Volcano Panoramic Views was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The views of the volcano were absolutely stunning — a perfect place to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the region. It’s also conveniently located near La Paz Waterfall Gardens, which made for a great day trip. A special shoutout to Tomas, the owner, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home and was full of great tips about the area. If you're looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat with easy access to places like La Paz and a host who truly cares, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

- Neta (10/5): What a beautiful view to wake up to every morning! - The property had a beautiful view and was very comfortable. The host Thomas was very helpful and answered all of our questions promptly. He also gave us some really nice ideas for things to do and places to eat in the area. I would definitely stay there again. And, as an added bonus the money you pay them for the rental goes to support their community work. It had a touch of a musty smell.

- Sylvia (9/5): Costa Rica at its Best - The location close to LA Paz and Volcano was great and the views were amazing. We were lucky enough to see the active Volcano from the place " front row seating". The Quetzel Preverve is real close and beatiful trail with falls. I recommend going to Duko Coffee plantation for a tour and the Hacienda Starbucks for an afternoon Kaffee Klatch. The view was amazing and had a little lunch too. We did this in conjunction with the visit to the Volcano which was so cool. LA Paz is of coarse amazing with 4 waterfalls but the trail is ALOT of stairs. Enjoy Dripping on the tin roof kept us up downstairs, loose toilet upstairs, no hot water for showering one night

Very reasonable price for the house and a great location with lots to do within driving distance. We loved the waterfalls and the gardens. It’s a little dated, hence the good price and we had no hot water for one of the days how ever the owner sorted this super quickly for us. Easy to communicate with owner.
