• Doreen (8/5): - Das Haus hatte alles was wir brauchten. Die Lage direkt an der Elbe ist super, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin völlig unkompliziert und freundlich. Vom Haus kann man direkt mit der Wanderung starten. Wir waren 6 Mädels und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.
• Ingo (9/5): Jederzeit wieder. - ein superschönes Haus direkt an der Elbe und unweit der Zugänge zu den schönsten Wanderwegen. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, sogar für Freunde der Brettspiele ist genug Material da. Der Grill ist leider nur für kreative Grillfreunde geeignet., Die Tür zu einem Schlafzimmer lässt sich nicht wirklich schließen.

• Steven (10/5): - Die absolute Ruhe Das Restaurant unter uns hat jeden Tag zu einer anderen Zeit auf und wieder zu gemacht. Kein Verlass und sorgte bei vielen Gästen für Verwirrung.
• Christiane (10/5): Urlaub mit Enkelkindern - Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus in ausgezeichneter Lage zum Wandern. Die Handtücher und teilweise die Bettwäsche rochen etwas muffig.

• Doris (9/5): Ein toller Urlaub, sehr zu empfehlen! - Ein sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus (mit sehr guter Ausstattung), in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Wanderungen in der sächsischen Schweiz. Da das Haus direkt an der Straße liegt, ist es bei geöffneten Fenstern eher laut. Nachts ist aber nur noch wenig Verkehr.

• Denise (7/5): Es war gut, aber ausbaufähig. - Die Unterkunft war gut. Alles vorhanden was man für einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist zentral. Allerdings an der Hauptstraße und gegenüber fährt der Zug somit war von Endspannung nicht allzu viel zu merken. Wir waren 8 Personen und ein Kleinkind. Die sanitären Anlagen sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß und auch nicht für 8 Personen ausreichend.

• Ashley (9/5): Warm, cozy, well-equipped holiday home in excellent location - with gorgeous surroundings - We had a wonderful stay! The location of the house is impeccable -- right at the foot of a hiking trail, with bus stop out front, 10mins walk from ferry and Schmilka, 10mins drive to the neighbouring spa town of Bad Schandau. The home is clean, well kept, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, including thoughtful touches like towels. We were a fairly large group (5+), and never felt crowded or like there was nowhere to sit. The kitchen had everything we needed, with lots of space and surfaces for food preparation. The bedrooms are sizeable, with comfortable beds, square pillows, and tons of storage. There is a little balcony area out back that would be wonderful in summer. The living room and kitchen have big windows overlooking the Elbe, with sun streaming in in the morning. There is lots of artwork, photographs and articles depicting the history of Saxony, showing a deep love of the area. I only wish we could have met the host, to learn more about this beautiful, historic place! The host was otherwise always in quick, clear communication, very kind, and accommodating of my poor German skills. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay and have this magical experience in Schmilka! P.S. Light sleepers will want to pack earplugs, as the house is next to the street and there are lots of beautiful birds in the area who like to sing early in the morning. ;)

• Polina (8/5): Great location with great kitchen - Great view towards the Elbe River. Good size rooms. Very well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was not very comfortable (no lock, shower above bathtub)
