We booked 8 months ago, back in May. I couldn’t find the messages on my phone, which seem to have disappeared after a few app updates. It would have been helpful to be sent the access instructions again a few days out. 😊

Certainly tranquil A few minor but impactful things - it wasn’t possible to get hot water in the main bedroom, ensuite basin- the main bathroom shower was difficult for anyone of an older vintage to use without assistance rails and a non slip mat. Lack of ability to use the house bins.

Being in a quiet area, but still only 10 minutes from the CBD. We liked it all. Except, there could be an extra blind to avoid the late afternoon glare on the TV. A very minor issue, tho.

Location was perfect (close to restaurants, supermarket, beautiful views front and back, peaceful and private), under 20 minutes into Hobart but also easy access to many attractions we saw on our stay. Kitchen was a dream, heating throughout, washer and dryer, plenty of essential items (towels, toilet paper, extra pillows, linen, dish/washing liquid etc), comfy bed, guest netflix, heated bathroom tiles (the best in winter!). David was a great communicative host. Just a beautiful base to see this part of Tasmania from. Nothing

There are also lovely restaurants and takeaway shops close by. Beautiful home with all the facilities for a comfortable holiday whether you are out and about all day or decide to stay in and relax. David was very helpful and was available if we needed anything. The house has a beautiful nature backdrop. I will definitely be staying here again. Nothing.

Lovely forest views from rear terrace, we saw a rabbit and a kangaroo. Loved the heating in the house and bright lighting. Kitchen is superb and well equipped. Easy to get anywhere around Hobart and car can be parked along the road. Very clean and well maintained house, wish we could stay longer here. David, was extremely responsive each time we contacted him. Nothing !

You felt you were in the countryside but were close to Hobart House very comfortable. • Peter (10/5): A beautiful and comfortable modern home. No hesitation in staying again - Exceptionally clean and well presented, with every amenity provided. Quiet location with bushland views out of floor to ceiling windows and from deck. Bedding was very comfortable with quality sheets and towels. Stayed during a Hobart winter and the heating worked well and the rainfall showers were excellent. Ideal for a family or group travelling together. My wife and I brought an overseas visitor and she thought it marvellous. Will stay there again with my adult sons when we got to Hobart to watch footy or cricket. Host kept in touch from booking to departure. Nothing was a problem. Not often I score a property this highly but there was nothing to mark it down for. Nothing at all.

• Yiju (10/5): 100% recommend this house. - My first impression of the accommodation when I arrived was very good. David responded quickly and attempted to resolve the issue. It had everything and was more comfortable than home. It was not easy to use at first because it was too technological. But I got used to it quickly and it was really nice. The smokey barbecue facilities made our dinner even better. After the sun went down, you could see the pedemelon right in front of the front door. It was the first time that my first impression stayed with me. Thanks David. Nothing. Perfect house.

The abode he has created is a true home away from home for all guests. The surroundings magical at all hours of the day n night. Amazingly no sound at all travelled to us from the road above. All kinds of amenities are near by. Each room was perfectly presented - we wish we could have stayed longer actually... like forever! Lol We're so glad we found this lovely accomodation n look forward to staying again on a return trip. Highly Recommend. Nothing

• Carly (10/5): The view! The luxuries are in abundance here, the perfect romantic getway! - This place blew us away! It was stunning, super modern and every detail has been carefully thought of. It was the perfect romantic and relaxing get away. We LOVED the large bath tub with that incredible view right next to you. Heated floor tiles and towel rack, rainfall shower head! All the luxuries you could ask for. It didn’t have a fire place but it did not need it, the heating was fantastic! It was warm, super comfy and the view from the multiple balconies and massive windows and glass doors was gorgeous! Staying here felt super private and even though you are only 10 minutes from Hobart we felt like we in the middle of the nowhere. The check in was super easy and with clear instructions for the door code. David was really friendly, helpful and responsive. The kitchen facilities were well above expectations, we had everything we needed to be self sufficient and cook some delicious meals. The TV had streaming capability and awesome speakers. We can’t recommend this place enough! Nothing!

• John (10/5): One of the best experiences we've had - An amazing house with modern conveniences everywhere you look. Alexa in every room, Smart Lock on the door, sensor lights in the bedroom, double glazed windows, under floor heating in the bathrooms, I could go on but don't need to. Memories are made here. Through floor to ceiling windows look onto beautiful forests, there are wallabies in the morning and afternoon, potoroos at night if you are quiet enough, quietly tweeting birds to wake you in the morning and nothing to worry about while there. It is a 10 minute drive into the city or 5 minutes to the nearest largish shopping centre and an easy drive onto the highway heading towards Richmond, the Airport or further east. nothing
• Caroline (10/5): Stunning home, fabulous quiet location. - Omg this house is AMAZING!!! I don't even know where to start. We arrived early and David let us check in early. We were blown away. So modern and clean! Massive windows with automated blinds. We had to contact David a couple of times with requests and he answered superfast and fixed any issues we had. (mainly my stupidity and not realising how things worked) David was so accommodating! The master bedroom has an open plan ensuite with the biggest bath I've ever seen in my life! The floor is heated! We loved the house so much we spent two seperate days just bumming around relaxing. There is a pantry with a the staples you may need The kitchen is a chef's dream. We watched wallabies from the balconies. I'll definitely be back! Honestly nothing!
