• Lynne (9/5): - Fantastic location, very easy and clear communication with Kylie (host), property exactly as described, well equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. The only minor issue we hadn’t realised when booking (possibly our oversight) was that access to two of the bedrooms and the bathroom was through the first bedroom. This was a minor inconvenience in such a lovely property.

• KELLIE (10/5): - Lovely cottage. We loved the layout and the attention to detail with the styling of the house. Had everything we needed. Beautiful high ceilings and stained glass windows. Minor deta. No fly screens or security door, so couldn't get any fresh air coming in.

• Bronwyn (10/5): Spacious, garage for the car, the wood heater kept us toasty warm. Very peaceful. - (No breakfast, we took our own.) Lovely to see the 'agricultural' views from the windows. There were 'bonus donkeys' on my early morning walk as well! Not a huge problem, but we ended up buying water at the supermarket as the tank water tasted a bit weird.

• Burnage (9/5): Our second visit and a pleasure to relax there . - We liked the extra things that made it all very pleasant , eg nice toiletries in the bathroom , condiments in the pantry and plenty of books etc It met all our expectations so nothing not to like .!!
• Nicola (8/5): Peaceful Weekend Away - Spacious yet cosy. Has everything you would need for a restful stay. Pretty garden to stroll around to watch the wildlife. The garage is also available if required. Close enough to Ballarat for take away dinner. We had a very relaxing stay. We couldn't open most windows for a cool breeze after a hot day.

• Heather (10/5): Felt like a home away from home ☺️ - Such a peaceful place to stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, from fluffy towels and lovely toiletries, to board games and colouring in books for the kids. Beautifully decorated too. The host was lovely, easily contactable and checked to make sure we had enough firewood for our stay. Easy to communicate with and received generous instructions regarding access to the property. Only suggestion would be a washing basket to carry laundry outside, but not something I ‘dislike’ necessarily about the property.

• Joshua (10/5): Reasonable - Fire place, canola field view, smart tv, complete kitchen utensils, board games The bed in the last bedroom sank a little in the middle making sleeping not that comfortable. Internet connection was not stable on the 2nd day of stay. Other than that, everything else is ok.

So nice Not that I “didn’t like” just a suggestion to include a washing basket to complete the laundry set up

• Tonya (10/5): Absolutely beautiful home in a wonderful lovely quiet environment. - Absolutely Beautiful place to stay. It was nice quiet and very clean. Everything was well set out and functional. I was overwhelmed by all the emails of what I could and could not do. In the end I left a day earlier as it was too much for me.
• Anna (8/5): Our stay at Pound Hill Cottage was peaceful and restorative a we’d highly recommend! - Pound Hill Cottage was a great getaway for the weekend. As well as being very quaint, it was well equipped, very comfortable and everything was maintained to a very high standard. The only downside was having to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the others.

The lock box is situated a bit low, younger renters would probably not find it a problem, but senior renters find it a bit challenging, but it didn't spoil our stay.

• Garnaut (9/5): Beautiful home, lovely quiet location within easy access to Ballarat and its surrounding locales. - The location was lovely, very quiet but still within easy reach to Ballarat and other surrounding locales. Also loved to be able to use the garage facility, especially when it was so wet during our stay. No real complaints except maybe the third 'bedroom' was open to the passage. The kids got over it though.

Could not fault the property After reading the reviews we were under the impression that there may have been some basic breakfast supplies. Clock in kitchen not working & could have been a few smaller drinking glasses for juice etc.
