• Cathy (1/5): We did not get what we paid for or even something clean and no response from agents so decided to do the review so someo - Location and the floors had actually been swept. It was disgustingly filthy apart from the floors. No soap or body wash in the shower. Cupboards and crockery etc were filthy. The doonas were filthy and we brought our own sheets as instructed but had bites from whatever was living in the doona. To top it off I waited 3 days to oust this review following email to Pacific Palms managing agents to please contact me about the state of the property with no response.

• Natalie (2/5): An average, tired, old beach unit that served its purpose for a weekend away. - The location was perfect and close to everything we needed. Blueys Beach area is gorgeous. The Holiday Rental agency staff were attentive and very helpful. I forgot to order linen packs and this was quickly arranged. Wifi was included. Furnishings were modest but comfortable, serving their purpose. The unit was in poor condition and not maintained well, paint peeling off the wall, microwave was rusted. The giant cockroaches that greeted us on arrival were a bit freaky, as was the musty odour. The bathroom sink unit is warped. The rental price of the unit reflected the poor condition. The unit beside us was immaculate and renovated beautifully, showing the potential of what this property could look like. Pedestal fans were filthy, ironing board did not have a cover, but easy to improvise with a towel.

• Kirsty (7/5): We loved our stay. Exactly as advertised and great location close to beach, lake and shops. - Awesome location and suitable accommodation. Exavtly just as advertised. Great pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Additional lounge would be great with 5 people.
• Pauline (5/5): Passable - The property managers were quick to respond to any problems and very helpful. The photo's were obviously taken quite a while ago as the property was in need of a freshen up, the entrance to the shower was tiny and the whole apartment could do with a good clean.
• Casey (7/5): Good - These apartments are in a great location within walking distance of the small group of shops & Blueys Beach. The wifi was good once we were able to access it. The bathroom is compromised to make room for the washer dryer but its good to have a laundry if staying for a week. Basics supplied in the kitchen. There is only 1 x 3 seater lounge. The apartment sleeps 5 so I'm not sure where everyone is meant to sit. The shower door is so old it barely slides open or closed. The Agent should insist on a certain level of comfort provided by owners for the prices they charge. They could fit out the entire unit from Ikea or KMart for a weeks rent. The agent gave us the wrong wifi login information but after a while we saw the correct code on the underside of the modem so thats not the owners fault. For the price we paid I don't understand why linen cant be provided. I took sheets but forgot towels so I had to buy some. The access is a little tricky with suitcases from the carpark.
