• Lisa (10/5): Great pet friendly stay at the beach - Great little spot located behind a house on a residential street. It is completely separate from the house and has full privacy. Didn't use the bbq or fire pit but the spa was warm and ready for our arrival which was the highlight. Easy street parking out front and dog friendly. Only a few minutes drive down to the beach and cafes the next morning - will definitely stay again. No complaints.

• Zedd (4/5): Terrible ignorant manager. Terrible rude hosts who don’t care and just want your money and terrible ammenities 😀 - The property was nice and the spa was good. The whole booking process was a nightmare and the stay was mediocre at best. Once I booked I got an email notifying me of the $200 bond that needed to be paid. I just have missed that part in the description which is annoying because it isn’t accounted for in the regular price but whatever that’s fine. I paid the booking.com fee and the bond and I sent an email to the owners trying to get a confirmation that they received the bond payment. Weeks go by with no response I tried calling 3 times and followed up with another email, still nothing. I call another 2 times and email again with all 5 calls going straight to voicemail. I sent another email a week after that, still nothing response. Finally I’m fed up and I call booking.com they said they would contact the property but they called and apparently the answering machine said they were out of the country from mid June till mid July (our stay was early July). What kind of person just takes booking while they are out of the country and doesn’t have the decency to email me or notify me at all that they are unreadable. I call booking dot com because 3 days out from our stay we still haven’t heard a peep from the owners. Booking.com tells me they have 2 phone numbers on record I try this new phone number twice with no answer and get a call back 2 days before our stay. The manager of the property had been too lazy to change the phone number and didn’t even use the email that was provided. So finally after the 49 days of waiting and emailing actively seeking confirmation for our stay we finally received it a mere 3 DAYS BEFORE OUR STAY. Once we arrived we found The wifi was atrocious. The advertisement says they have wifi but the wifi is just leeched off of the main building so it’s terrible. You wouldn’t say you have clean water then tell me I have to get a bucket and go down the street to a well to get it would you?!????

• Meredith (8/5): Very nice for our stay with our dog. - Very tastefully decorated. Spa was great. Terrific that it was doggy friendly. Lumpy old mattress and sofa. Not good for my husband’s bad back. Coffee machine decided not to turn on after 2 uses. Kitchen cupboard handle loose. Stove top burner knob broken.

• Estella (10/5): Great Short Stay @ Coolum Beach! 💜 - Loved our stay at Pandus Spa Cottage! It has a beautiful open plan design. Very close to beach and restaurants. Great privacy! Most of all it is very generous that the host allows dogs to stay on the property. I was able to bring my two fur babies with ease. The spa was so relaxing too! Thanks Samantha! 😀 Nothing.

• Rhyce (8/5): Despite a few minor things the stay here was great - Overall we found this place great clean tidy neat lovely for a couple. A few ever miner things. Lighter for fire place didn’t work but found another one in draw could probably leave a butane bottle in house if this was to run out for guests. We did receive an email from Samantha the host for possibly a good deal for an extended stay tried calling her number provided and messaged with no answer so just didn’t bother. Internet connection was terrible at location found it frustrating to relax in house and watch movies

• Mark (7/5): Highlight was the jacuzzi! - The spa/jacuzzi was a real highlight. Thank you for pre-warming the water! The key was left inside on the coffee table. The location was in surburbia, surrounded by new houses being built and loads of tradie vehicles. It was a little bit noisy when we first arrived. Being able to switch off the lights on the deck would be helpful. The coffee pod machine sadly did not work.

The facilities were excellent, and the property was located within walking distance to the beach & shops. There is nothing I could fault about this property.

• Philip (9/5): A lovely, relaxing experience, perfect for a couple. - Our stay was fantastic! The spa was great and we loved the double shower! The layout was awesome and the outdoor area was fabulous and sheltered, even in the pouring rain! The whole place felt nice, luxe and private. The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. There was only 1 towel per person and we had to shower before going into the spa so it wasn't the best. A couple of suggestions for future: 1. Add a milk frother for the coffee machine, and 2. Concreting the pathway to the unit would make it a lot easier to get luggage to the unit and would potentially address the puddles in heavy rain.

And a TV in the bed room would be a great addition

It had some higher end features (fire table, spa) that we did not have time to use, unfortunately. The path is hard to negotiate with a wheelie case because of the very uneven path. Struggled to lock the door though we felt secure anyway.

• Maddison (10/5): The most beautiful and comfortable stay - The property was beautiful. It was so clean and well kept. Looks exactly like the photos. The location is the best. Only a short 15 minute walk into town (no hills or anything) they wrote a lovely little note and left us with chocolates. The only thing I would say is the fire was a little tricky to use and there needs to be at least one more mirror. There was only one in the bathroom and it was wasn’t full length

• Alec (9/5): Divine private and cosy beach cottage stay! - We have been consistently staying at Samantha’s beach cottages for the past 5 years and love it! Pandanus especially is a really good size to bring puppies with great fencing and good walking options on your doorstep. Samantha adds lovely touches to ensure a comfortable stay and the cottages are both set up for short or long term. Love being able to log into our own streaming services, the hot tub and new fire table makes this such a cosy stay. Love it! The nbn is patchy which Samantha is really transparent about so always good to pack a book and some games for in between relaxing in the spa and walking. It’s such a minor detail and we’re always prepared just in case.

The hosts have obviously put a lot of work in to making this a great place to stay, the cottage is kitted out with everything you need. The showers were excellent- the spa was great and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts booklet was very informative and made everything very clear. Excellent instructions for check in. The accommodation was very private and quiet. The on-street parking was the only minor downside - but that is a very minor thing and would not stop me from staying here again. I would still say this property is a 10/10.
