• Melanie (4/5): Not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for - The location was nice, you can walk along the river or in the forest behind it. The house has everything you would expect a holiday home to have, it's just all a bit weirdly arranged. The listing stated that we would have the entire property to ourselves, but the host was present in the garden upon our arrival and showed no intention of leaving, which made us feel uncomfortable right from the start. Later that evening, while we were having dinner by ourselves, he sat down next to us uninvited and insisted on sharing drinks, even though we had clearly communicated that we do not consume alcohol. His behavior gave the impression that he was not entirely sober, which added to the discomfort. We had chosen this property in part because of the fenced garden, as we were hoping to let our dog enjoy some time outside freely. However, this was not possible, as we felt that the host could not be trusted to remember to close the gates, which made us concerned about the safety of our dog. We had to double-check all entrances before letting our dog out, which was stressful and frustrating. The host also called us six times around 10 PM the night before our arrival to explain key pickup—a single message would have been sufficient. The repeated calls at that hour felt intrusive and unnecessary. Noise was another issue. Around 11 PM, when we were already in bed, the host began making noise outside, then drove off with loud screeching tires, forgetting to close the gate behind him. The apartment also fell short in terms of cleanliness. There was visible dust and cobwebs in several areas, and the living room curtains did not fully cover the windows, leaving the interior exposed to the street. The smell in the house was also quite unpleasant throughout our stay. While the host may have had good intentions, the overall lack of respect for privacy, cleanliness, and basic boundaries made our stay uncomfortable and disappointing.

Uncomplicated and friendly welcome, the house was exactly as in the description, the big yard that made our dog very happy, and there is a parking space in front of the house. The nature around is outstanding, we could do some walks and swimming and the host is very happy to help whenever needed. Everything was great

• Martijn (8/5): A nice place to stay near the Danube - The host is very friendly. You have everything you need. A total of 4 people can sleep, 2 in the living room, 2 in the room where the kitchen is. Big dining table. Coffee machine with coffee cups organisedby the host, water cooker and tea bags. Nice place by the Danube. Perfect place for beautiful day trips. Big terrace. The sound of the chickens behind the house. Bed in the kitchen, where the refrigerator and water heater are located. Means you hear noises at night. That can cause sleeping problems. We missed curtains to make the room dark. That wakes you up early in the morning. Fridge could be a bit cleaner. For us, however, it did not spoil the enjoyment of the holiday.
