Michael (10/5): - Blown away by the imaginative design of this loft and how it opens to such peaceful and scenic surroundings. Clever and quirky layout, quality appointments and loving attention to details. Surprised to see such high quality from kitchen to bedding and bathroom to comfortable relaxing. We will certainly return. We felt very blessed to have spent our 44th anniversary away from town in a wide open landscape. In a perfect world there wouldn't be a staircase, but then it wouldn't be a quaint loft above a barn. Impossible to design out in this location is the exposure to high winds, but that said, the indoors is well sealed and no extreme wind noises.
Tina (7/5): Beautiful home but fell short in some essentials - The space was stylish and the furnishings and decor were lovely. The views from the balcony were also beautiful and check in was easy. The house had cobwebs in some places and a little dust on some surfaces. It could do with more amenities such as a washer and dryer and there were not enough cleaning product such as a dustpan, bucket or sponge mop. The kitchen did not have a spatula which made it difficult to cook some things. In addition, it was disappointing that there was only enough firewood left for one evening over a two night stay and we had to buy more firewood on our second night. It would have been good to know this before booking as the place is advertised as having a fire place so enough wood for the duration of the stay would be expected. I have stayed in many homes in Daylesford with fire places and have never experienced this before.
