• Emma-Jayne (10/5): One of our top 5 holidays. Scouts falls an hour away was amazing. Grafton only around half an hour away will everything - Stunning views!! A few minutes walk from the beach, lovely seating areas to sit and watch the sun rise. I could have stayed forever! Nothing! It was so great. Washing machine came in handy, we went home with barely any dirty clothes.

• Kylie (7/5): Great View but could use a little update - Ocean views are spectacular. Comfortable beds and variety of lounge chairs (indoors and outdoors). Close walks to the beach, easy check-in and parking at entrance. Binoculars-nice. With the humid weather, the lack of reverse cycle air-conditioning was noticeable. The ceiling fans moved the hot air but weren't cooling. We kept the windows and doors open for a breeze but the lack of screens meant flies, mozzies and wasps came as they pleased. Lack of powerpoints - kitchen and bedrooms. Blinds - some no longer work, need new cords eg kitchen sink, bedroom. Crockery cupboard has an off wood smell, needs a breathing hole??

• Marianne (3/5): Amazing view, but - The view was exceptional. Great for whale watching. Group of tradies staying downstairs, getting up at 5am, lots of noise as kitchen is under the upstairs bedroom. We're awake every morning from 5am to 6.15am. There is only a very small oilheater for the whole area, the evenings were very cold. Emailed host but didn't get a response. We had problems closing the shower screen (mentioned several times in other reviews). The kitchen needs an upgrade as very old, and cupboards are very smelly and dirty. Blinds on the front windows are broken. We had to hand roll them every day. The only thing going to the place is the spectacular view.

• Tom (6/5): Beautiful location - some negatives but still a good choice - Location was great. Beautiful view over sea with lovely sea breezes (5-10 min walk to beach down path at end of road or via boat ramp). Comfy bed in main room. Even though there were some negatives which still enjoyed our stay. Broken window which couldn't be used on main bedroom window (only bedroom with view) which made room hot as only fan - no aircon. When we checked with hosts we were told the window was broken & could not be used - but no-one informed us of this prior to arrival and not able to fix while we were there. A few things need updating e.g. lumpy couch and some things on photos missing (e.g. no hammock, cushions for outdoor setting not as in picture (only small thin ones). Driveway not really useable if someone staying in upstairs unit as single lane and get blocked in. Can park on grass infront but then car is your view of sea!

• Ashleigh (8/5): Amazing location - Amazing location and well equipped. The place needs a good clean. Layers of caked on dust and grime through out. The windows and their screens need fixing as unable to sleep with the windows and doors open.

• Victoria (8/5): Breathtaking views in a comfortable beach house. - The location is nothing less than spectacular. We were a little disappointed by the fact there was no washing up detergent nor tea towels available and crockery was chipped. Also, the shower doors were a bit dodgy, hard to open and close. We also wondered about provision for organics/food waste as there didn't appear to be any. All that aside, it was our second stay at this property and we absolutely love it, especially for its location and very comfortable front room facing the ocean. I'm sure we will be back!
