• Paul (10/5): - Great. We'd definitely stay again. Clean, neat and tidy. Has everything you need. Even though it is pet friendly, there was no sign or smell of any dogs. Comfortable beds. Nice views. Pretty easy walk down to the bay. Nice pizzeria close by. Not far from St Helens for shopping and groceries. Nothing.

As an older person I found the position of the property a bit of a hike . I thought we could walk to the beach but the hills were a bit much. The space in the bedrooms was a bit tight.

Everything was great but just a safety issue with the step down into first bedroom from back door. There was a sign above the door not easily seen. Better to have easily seen yellow tape on the step. • Wendy (10/5): Binalong Brae is a very comfortable, beautifully appointed house with a great view of the sea and Bay of Fires coastline - Binalong Brae is a wonderfully comfortable, relaxing house, very well equipped with good quality amenities. We specially appreciated the washer and dryer, and the great wood burner, as well as the comfortable couches and beds. The views are great, and the enclosed yard for the dog was an absolute bonus. Jan provided excellent information before we arrived, and the self-checkin with key/lock box was very easy.
• Wendy (9/5): Provided a comfortable place from which to explore the Bay of Fires area. - Good location with views. We liked the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Good facilities. Nice walk to the beach. It can get rather warm in the afternoon as the sun streams in the windows.

The accommodation is high above the shore line and you can see the bay over the tops of the houses opposite. The walk downhill was easy and the walk back up bracing. The apartment is delightful and clean, equipped with everything you could want. Quiet? yes Accessible? yes, car next to back door Views? partial Would I return? Absolutely

Lovely luscious bedding, everything well thought out. Lovely decor. Comfortable. Super clean and just sooo Lovely The host paid us an unannounced visit as there was a tiny issue at the fire place caused by previous visitor. Whilst this wasn't too much of an inconvenience, it did disrupt the privacy a tad. We felt this could have been dealt with after we left the property or a message sent to us before to inform of the visit

Lovely new washer and dryer and up to date appliances. Clean and the host includes so many terrific touches such as placemats for the table, napkins, laundry soap, . There are beautiful views to water and lots of natural light from a wall of glass that leads to deck. Very quiet location and easy walking to the paths to see the water and rocks. Highly recommend, we loved our stay! Nothing! It was a fantastic place to stay.

Home cooked, vacuumed packed meals in the freezer available to purchase. We didn't use them but is a good idea. Well appointed kitchen and amenities. The whole house was very clean.

• Chloe (6/5): Don’t want to scare anyone off, it is a good place to stay, just needs a few small improvements to make it great. - Location was excellent. Good range of amenities- I.e washing machine, oven, etc. Property wasn’t very clean, didn’t feel like the property had been freshened up/cleaned after previous occupants. Crumbs in all cupboards, drawers and in corners of rooms, hair throughout bathrooms on walls and tiles, stained decorative cushions and throws, dust on furniture and walls. Home had a strong off-putting smell upon entry. Opened home up for a few hours and sprayed deodorising room spray (bought by ourselves) however still smelt upon closing windows/doors. Think it may have been carpet or unwashed decorative/pillows/throws holding scent. Upon using kitchen utensils/crockery/oven, all items dirty. No spare aluminium foil / oven trays provided so had to use dirty aluminium foil provided and swap over on the other side. Fly screens on windows were faulty and allowed mosquitoes into home. No windows in main bedroom/bathroom (no security mesh on any doors/windows - security risk) and no ceiling or pedestal fans so had to have air con running all night to keep air moving. Random items in the back yard, ie firewood, dog kennel and pet food bowls etc. yard was not presented well.

• Sara (4/5): Disappointing - Host was helpful and check-in and check-out process was easy with keys in a lockbox. Property was not clean on check-in. First thing I did on arrival was vacuum the floors and wipe down the kitchen counter, dining table, coffee table and couches as there were crumbs and dirt. Bathroom sink basin had also not been properly cleaned so needed to be sprayed and wiped down.
