• Brianna (8/5): Great if your looking for a cozy place with the basics. - This was exactly what I needed as I was doing work at the nearby hospital for the week. A cozy little spot with lots of good basic amenities. The WiFi was quite good and I appreciated having a washer/dryer. I also appreciated the little extras basket they left in case your forgot something (nail clippers, menstrual products, etc.). A minor nit-pick but the water is this area is quite hard and mineral-y. I would have appreciated a water filter for the tap or in the fridge.

• manuela (7/5): piccola casetta per 2 persone. Per un weekend è ok - la casa è piccola e adeguata per 2 persone. La camera da letto molto carina. la proprietaria ha risposto a tutte le nostre esigenze in maniera molto veloce la casetta è vicino ad un allevamento di galline. Il tempo era brutto, siamo rimasti in casa con le finestre chiuse. Ma col bel tempo c'è odore di allevamento, un po' spiacevole
• Pup (8/5): Peace and Quiet in the Valley - Lovely peaceful location, an ideal base for exploring the Valley. The owner of the property could not have been more friendly. Some of the décor is a little dated - importantly, though, everything is clean and comfortable.
• Michael (7/5): We had a lovely stay, - Location good. It was recently redecorated but house is in bit of rough shape on the whole Blackout blinds were only on one window in the bedroom. One more cooking pot would be useful too.

• Corey (8/5): Good basic accommodation - The quiet almost rural location. It was a great spot for us as we live on a farm. It was easy to find, has good access and fairly well equipped to set up as a headquarters for visiting the area. Very simple and a fun spot to stay.for a couple. The "spring cleaning" as preparation for the season was not quite done. The spider webs in corners and windows were still there along with dust bunnies. Some basic maintenance such as replacement of door weatherstripping needs finishing.

• Tracey (7/5): Great location and lovely owner - The house is in a great location for exploring the valley - 10 minutes from New Minas / Kentville & Wolfville. The facilities such as the washer / dryer were super helpful to have access to. Kristen the owner was very friendly from the start and helpful with any questions. The bedroom was a good size as was the entrance porch. Only issue really was with the house being advertised as a two bed. It is a two bed but only when the lounge is used as a bedroom so that left us only a dining table as a communal area which was not particularly comfortable. There is no TV in the dining area so we had no where we could all sit together in the evenings unless we all sat together in one of the bedrooms which isn’t great for privacy when staying with other family members. It wasn’t a deal breaker but I don’t think I would stay again if we were travelling as more than just a couple.

• Jocelyne (9/5): Weekend getaway - Loved the quiet/peaceful location. It was such a cute and cozy space. Perfect for a nice get away with your partner. And for a decent price on top of that. Towns were maybe ten mins away if we needed anything. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely book in again. The only thing we did not care for in regards to the property was the cleaning fee. It was too high considering there were fair indicators that the cleaner is not being thorough. Dog hair on the blankets, fuzzy blanket just straight up smelled like dog, and silverware in drawer was not clean. Not to mention getting a message immediately after leaving indicating we should basically leave it as clean as we found it. Given we left maybe 5 pieces of dishes in the sink we definitely looked after the space and cleaned up after ourselves. I think we did well. But again I thoroughly enjoyed my time, I just don't believe you should charge over 100$ in cleaning fees unless I get a refund for doing the cleaners job.

• Pieter (3/5): Poor - Cute and tastefully decorated, nice little touches if you had a pet Not being able to have showers due to frozen pipes. Cleaning fee was higher than the rental cost for one night, and not shown upfront before booking. Owner called directly for payment and did not disclose total cost and unable to cancel booking within 1/2 hour. Owner was not empathetic to our situation when informed of no water. According to booking.com the owner was not willing to make any compensation for the lack of water due to their failure and misrepresenting what occurred to booking.com as conveyed by your representative. This experience was a black mark on booking.com and we will reconsider and check other services before using booking.com again.
• Jocelyne (9/5): Little yellow sunshine - Great locaton and had everything I needed for a mini working holiday. Quiet neighbourhood. Scented prooducts but that is a personal preference. No convenience store close by so bring milk.

• Henderson (10/5): Unexpected hidden Gem ! - This was a cozy little spot and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful this little gem was ? Lots of hot water :) . And great WIFI ! Very clean there were plenty of pots,pans,etc. It is also located very close to a fantastic butcher shop which is a must for supper fare ! My host was exceptionally helpful and great to deal with ! I will DEFINITELY BE BACK That I had to leave.......
