Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (8/5): -
- Julia (8/5): Great family getaway with young children - Cottage is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, comfortable fit my family of 5. Amenities were well set out and lots of space. The back room had toys and games for the children which was a nice touch. Quiet location not far from the city centre The beach across the road from the property is not ideal for swimming, but nice to walk along or dip your toes.

- Simone (10/5): Perfect family beach house! - Cottage was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, living areas and bedrooms were comfortable, outdoor dining areas were great. Very close to the beach, on a quiet street. Nice touch of a bottle of wine, and Oreos on arrival. The kids loved all the toys in the back room too. Only a couple of very small details: the grass on the lawns was a bit overgrown and the kitchen didn’t have a fan so we had to open doors when cooking to avoid setting off the smoke alarm.
- Hunter (10/5): A grand stay - This cottage had it all. Centrally located, beach in walking distance. Fabulous amenities. Diligent host. I liked everything.
- Benjamin (8/5): -
- Sherri (10/5): - Good space, comfy, well appointed. Need a drying rack for towels.
- Len (9/5): Loved it and would definitely book again - Beautiful unique property comfortable and very pleasant to stay in No dressing on the master bedroom door so if wanted to sleep couldn’t be people in the lounge room
- Penny (10/5): Cute and quirky - The Igloo is a quirky, cute little offering, well laid out with room to move. As a group of 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a child of 7, we were very comfortable and would have loved to stay longer.
- Damien (8/5): Very good -

- Kiki (9/5): Nice stay - Great location. Very close to the beach. Ample of rooms for big family or groups of friends. A lot of dining area to entertain big guests. Need more toilet/bathroom. Electric blankets will be nice too on cold nights.
- Colleen (8/5): Only short stay but worked and was comfortable - It was nice and spacious, had all the kitchen facilities needed. The door to the master bedroom should have signage that you can’t close while inside or should have the addition of a handle at the hinge point as one of us closed it unknowingly and had to call us to get out.
- Sharin (10/5): I took three , 15 year old girls - they enjoyed everything - comfy beds best of course . Location perfect for walks and - We loved everything , the location

- Kobi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ailsa (9/5): Clean and well equipped accomodation. - The accomodation was clean and we'll equipped. A short walk to the beach. It was a long walk, 3.6 km to the Portarlington township centre. I also had issues opening the key safe.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - It was nice warm place to relax but not much to do in the town
- Carol (9/5): Cute and cosy - Was a cute and cosy accommodation.
Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A little further away from main street than preferred, not an easy walk particularly if its hot.
- Suzana (10/5): Absolutely enjoyed our stay :) -
- Kerin (8/5): Very comfortable and clean place - We had a lot of trouble unlocking and locking the front door.
- Kenny (8/5): Very good -

- Janine (10/5): A great escape from Melbourne. - The Igloo accommodation was is rather a unique looking house that opens up to being far more spacious than one would expect. The accommodation has everything you need for cooking, washing, bedding, etc. It is also set up with a back playroom for children if need be and a safe, enclosed back yard. There is a great viewing platform on the property which makes the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening wine. Located in a very quiet street about 3 km out of the main town of Portarlington, it is easily walkable to a local beach. We took a hike into St Leonards for lunch with the idea of catching the local bus back to the cottage, however it was such a lovely day, we walked the return trip as well. Discovered the golf club was very close and a good choice for dinner. The location provides an excellent base to explore the Bellarine Peninsula. We even took a drive back into Fyansford Paper Mill (Geelong) for lunch and to explore the property.
- Joanne (9/5): Very comfortable. Perfect for our weekend away -
