Guest Reviews
- Adele (8/5): It was lovely, only small blip was the couch. Had a great time, would definitely come back - Size of property was perfect!! The pull out couch had no sheets and it was very dirty
- Kerry (7/5): A lovely, comfortable stay in a quiet picturesque location. - Lovely secluded location, large, light filled roomy lay out.
Beautifully furnished & decorated.
Comfy beds and gorgeous bathrooms!
The outside pizza oven area was lovely! A few cosmetic touch ups needed - the kitchen cupboard & draw fronts need replacing as the vinyl wrap is falling off, some of the walls need a paint & the carpets require a spot clean.
Housekeeping wise - 4 coffee pods for 8 people staying 2 nights was not enough (we tried to buy the pods for the machine locally & they are not available) the main toilet roll holder was broken & no outside bin was found to empty the rubbish into
The garden was in need of a water.
- Dahal (8/5): Amazing location, welcoming proporty, calm and relaxing - Location was amazing, we booked just few hours before check in time. AC was on when we reach there, enough parking space, it was quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed every bit. Morning was so nice and lovely vineyard. City centers are nearby if you want extra wines. There was a problem with Nespresso machine, we expected they would have wines but might be off season so there was none, drinking water might be a challenge if travelling with kids, Since the property itself is isolated so there might not all check marked but overall it was above average.
- Juna (6/5): -
- Susan Jabbour (9/5): Great stay - Views Ants
- Satya (9/5): We had a very good time. We were there for birthday celebration. - This place is the best place to enjoy with your family and friends in group.
- laura (8/5): -
- Nicki (8/5): -
- Juliansih (9/5): Enjoyable plus loved the view of wineries sunset - Cleanness and spacious Nothing
- Michael (8/5): -
- Lai (10/5): -
- Samantha (10/5): Barossa Valley greatness - The location was perfect, close to town yet when you are at the property surrounded by the vines it feels like you are in the middle of no where.
Large house so plenty of space for a group.
- Swosti (4/5): -
- Angela (10/5): - Beautiful location
Very comfortable We could not stay longer as we needed to be at our next location
- Ram (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (10/5): Perfect in every respect … - Loved the cleanliness and location the shower the space the views … everything Loved everything ( but we couldn’t find a bin)
- Sue (7/5): We enjoyed our stay as we had great company but a few things let us down. - Lovely big house amongst the vines, very peaceful and nicely furnished. We had a lot of fun doing the wine tasting with Dorham. There are some things that really need improvement, a lot of tree debris around the home that needs to be tidied up, we had to ask for wood for fire fit and the gas pizza oven didn’t work. The toilet seat is broken which was a real challenge. The oven and trays inside it were dirty, cleaners need to do a better job.
- Tiffany (9/5): The House is beat and in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views! Once the outdoor problems are rectified it will be per - The House is beautiful Anna spacious and a great location. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! The bbq was left dirty. There were no provisions/wood left for the fire pit and unfortunately no wood of any substance on the property to collect. We had to go and purchase wood / firefighters etc
- Jolene (10/5): Barossa escape - Spacious, peaceful, nestled amongst the vines. We loved the outdoor fire and pizza oven. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The house, although large, was cosy due to ducted air conditioning. Pet friendly and located close to everything. N/A
- Marilyn (9/5): Perfect family get away nestled in the Barossa amongst the vineyards. - The house was spacious and the perfect place to spend time with family. We enjoyed the pizza oven and fire pit facilities too. The living space was very comfortable and the kitchen had all necessary utensils, pots and pizza trays.
Dorham provided a great wine tasting for our family of the beautiful Triple Creek wines. There was a step down into the lounge that was easy to trip down as there was no change in colour of tiles. This was an issue with 2 people in their 80s.
- Jason (7/5): Good - Great secluded location just outside Tanunda. Large property perfect for the 7 of us, particularly the living areas which were large and roomy. This is what should be improved given the daily price of the property…
Some kitchen cabinets doors need replacing - some held together by tape and another melted by the toaster?
Toilet seat not mounted correctly
Arrived to ants all through the entrance and on kitchen floor … yes it’s Australia, but having them in the house is not ideal. I sorted this after a trip to the supermarket to get spray.
- John (8/5): We had a great stay despite the negatives mentioned. - Great setting amongst the grape vines, and very spacious house, plenty of room for the 8 people in our party. Would have scored exceptional except for the fact that only 1 tea towel was available and we ran out of toilet paper after 2 days and had to supply our own. A chemical barrier around the access points to the house would prevent the large number of bull ants from entering and requiring to be dealt with.
- Sophie (9/5): Beautiful property and view - The location was great, so much room, the house had everything we needed. Very comfy and loved the nice finishing touches like nice products to use in the bathroom. I tried messaging a couple of times but had no response. There was a few sheds near the house that had old couches and other things dumped there, could of been unsafe for the kids we had with us.
- Anderson (8/5): Great week with friends in the Barossa - Spacious, great location, close proximity to places we wanted to visit. Great sized house to accommodate 7-8 people comfortably. A well-equipped kitchen. A quiet location amongst the vineyards near Hentley Farm. The BBQ only had 1 out of 4 burners working, so not useful to us. A larger clothes line would have been helpful. Parts of the house were not really cleaned well. Guest folder needs to be updated. The pricelist for the wines to purchase in the house was not present, with no way to contact the host. One of the queen sized beds is squeaky and unstable. Indoor plants had not been watered and were dying inside the house. A little more attention to detail would make this an excellent house.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Great accommodation and stunning location. - We had a family gathering in this amazing house. It is very spacious and light and had all the facilities we could ask for. The location is stunning and tranquil. We loved it, thank you.
Close to all Barossa tourist highlights. Would have liked some basic cleaning materials to keep the place tidy during our stay. Grounds in need of a little TLC but these are small things.
- Wei (9/5): Superb -
- Grant (8/5): Very good - The location, cleanliness, privacy were very great and beds were very comfortable. Some parts of the kitchen are showing age, there were some ants getting into the living room via the side glass doors that I took care of.
- Marcus (9/5): Superb - The size of the house and property was good No laundry basket and the knives were blunt with nothing to sharpen them
- John (7/5): Would be fabulous with a little loving attention. - It’s a nice house in a quiet location in vineyards you are forbidden to walk in. The kitchen tap was very loose, dishwasher didn’t work, clothesline broken, toilet seats loose etc, It was a nice place needing simple maintenance which the owner assured us was happening but we still enjoyed our stay there.
- Cassandra (9/5): a fabulous weekend away for my birthday with family. - very comfortable spacious and beautiful surroundings.
- Katie (10/5): Best weekend away!!! - Nestled amongst the vines, this property was in a superb location, so much room inside, large areas for entertaining. A birthday that I won’t forget!! Not much at all, it was lovely
- Jasmina (10/5): A little piece of wine paradise - Amazing property, spacious house, perfect backyard to play soccer with kids and relax with friends. We loved the pizza oven, fire pits and the wine tasting. An unforgettable experience. Nothing
- Kk (8/5): Very good -
- Iuculano (8/5): Stunning views in a vIneyard - Excellent location. Quiet. Birds. Sheep. Porch outside. Clean. In an actual vineyard so stunning views. Would be nice to have option to sleep in single beds especially if you're in a group of single friends. And indoor fireplace would be perfect. Otherwise it's a great place.
- Karen (10/5): Loved our stay it was amazing. - Loved the house, loved the location, loved the wildlife & the fire pit. It was amazing to stay amongst the grape vines. The house was beautiful & very comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer. It was exceptional. There was nothing to not be happy with.
- Melissa (10/5): Loved it -
- Leith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (10/5): A very roomy house for a crowd. The setting was perfect. We all had a amazing time. - No breakfast was provided. A few spiders here are there.Main bedroom needs a lock on the door.More milk or real full cream milk. But was so nice that when I send a text message we were able to get into store cupboard. The shower water going all over the floor.Shower screen’s would work.
- Vu (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (9/5): We loved our short stay. The few things listed above were not big issues. - Beautiful home. We could not locate any tea towels or dish rack so it made clean up a bit tricky. There were also a lot of earwig bugs in the house.
- Syed (6/5): Pleasant - Beautifully kept property, very clean and spacious. Nice surrounding. A few constructive feedback:
1. The house had many spiders, bugs, crawling insects and a couple of cockroaches. We were busy vacuumming the entire house for a while soon after arrival.
2. The freezer is broken and needs to be replaced.
3. The fridge slides on the floor with the risk of falling on the guest. The door of the fridge only opens with considerable pulling. It probably needs to be replaced.
4. There is no door in the ensuite bathroom which is strange in itself offering no privacy to anyone.
5. All bedrooms and bathrooms should have privacy locks as it's a large property which expectedly will often have a few couples/guests.
6. Pillows and mattresses are too soft for our liking.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beck (9/5): Dorham the host was very accomodating to all our requests. We look forward to returning! - The house was modern, clean and well equipped
- Gregory (9/5): Host was so obliging. Tripple creek wines are to die for. - House was so spacious and welcoming. Sitting by the outdoor firepit was so relaxing under the stars with a glass or two of the Triple Creek Wines Frying pans need replacing. Could not use them.
- Shannon (8/5): Very good -
- Mandy (8/5): A spacious home with everything you need, a great host and excellent location. -
- Mariah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prue (9/5): We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful Barossa Valley and would stay at Triple Creek again. - Triple Creek Guesthouse is a beautiful, modern, clean, beautifully decorated and well-equipped house. The vinyard it was nestled in was lovely with its autumn leaves. The house was well equipped with the basics, eg condiments, coffee pods, gladwrap, foil and baking paper. There were barbeque facilities and a firepit to sit around. There was even a pizza oven although we did not use it. There was nothing we didn't like but the group would like to provide feedback to the owners.
- the airconditioning in the bedrooms did not seem to be working.
- the fridge was a problem in that the door was difficult to open and it would move around when we tried to.
- it would have been lovely if some firewood was made available for the fire pit.
And I apologise but the salt and pepper accidentally came home with us.
- Robyn (10/5): I would definitely come back again - Beautiful location The fridge. Impossible to open.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mercedes (9/5): Great location perfect property - Excellent location and a very large house accommodating our guests Lots of insects at night biting us outside
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chamila (9/5): Superb - Perfect location and house for entertaining after visiting local wineries.
- Brett (9/5): Superb -
- Kezia (8/5): Very good - The house and gardens were stunning for my pre wedding photos and for bridal party photos after. There was plenty of space for everyone there. A window must have been left open because there were many many many bugs and spiders on the floors and on the walls.
- Mali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (10/5): Amazing family getaway location - The place was clean, well decorated and on a beautiful property. The fire pit and pizza oven was a great touch. The kitchen was well equipped too.
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyndall (9/5): Superb -
- Pauline (9/5): Superb -
- Silvana (9/5): Superb -
- Diana (9/5): Superb -
- Tran (9/5): wonderful - location
design of the house none
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Venessa (8/5): we only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the gorgeous facilities and explore more - the house was extremely spacious with plenty of room inside and out for everyone. the bathrooms weren’t as clean as they could be. dirty grout.
- Jeanette (9/5): awesome girls weekend in Barossa, fabulous house and grounds, fir pit and pizza oven - it was a beautiful clean property with loads of space. right in the heart of the vineyard and just gorgeous amongst the hills not much at all, just needed a couple of tiny touches to be perfection
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rochelle (10/5): Great house + super close to Hentley Farm - Great spot, so close to Hentley Farm which we could walk to to enjoy lunch.
Great to have the fire pit. Nice big spacious house to share with friends for a night away.
Will have to bring the dogs and stay a bit longer next time.
