No warning at all and no really understanding of the issue; stressful!

• Alena (5/5): indoor space needs improvement - Lovely natural surrounding, well maintained outdoor space, including the outdoor pool. only cold running water in the shower, no dining table or chairs to eat meals, no comfortable sitting space to rest inside, limited suitable dishes for basic meal preparation, very hot inside, the fens not efficient, poor indoor lighting

• Heemskerker (7/5): Good - Big garden and nice pool for the kids. Lots of butterflies and fireflies aswell. Perfectley close to ostional. Location is great Owner is very communicative and did find a way to meet in the middle because of cat allergy. Stray cats on property. We are allergic. And they walk straight into the house because you cannot leave evrything closed because there is no airco. Found entrance like all reviews really bad to acces with the car. Even a 4wd. The whole indoor area is not really comfortable.
• Jennifer (6/5): A bit sub-par - The location of this property was nice – peaceful and secure. The main reason we chose it was because it had a small pool and was pet-friendly (we were traveling with a dog). We enjoyed the pool and the garden was pretty. The posting says there is air conditioning (one of the main reasons we chose it) but that’s not true and the coolers and fans in the house barely keep it cool. There’s also no ocean view or landmark view – things that were mentioned in the listing. A lot of things mentioned were not there, in fact. We found no toaster, no dining table, drying rack for clothing or open-air bath, for instance. There is no bath, just a shower (that didn’t smell very nice and only has cold water—this was not mentioned in the listing and should have been). There are a lot of utensils in the kitchen, but items that would be useful – for instance, more than one knife – were missing and it seemed like the owner just threw in whatever spare utensils he had. We didn’t meet the owner, but he was very kind and communicated frequently. The woman who cleaned the house met us with the key and explained everything. I might stay here again if I were traveling to this area with a dog, but if not, it’s unlikely I would return.
