• Gail (9/5): Nice cottage - A lovely beach house, well appointed and in an excellent location for the beach and township. Very comfortable, secured yard for our dog. Highly recommend staying here.
• Wood (7/5): Fantastic Location & Comfortable Property - Location was terrific - you can eat in or walk to a variety of great cafes. Backyard is lovely, huge, mowed and tidy. Beds are very comfy, linen was crisp, great fridge & stove/oven & d/washer. Plenty of hot water & toilet paper, nice bathroom. We have stayed here in Sep 2022 (17 mths back) and returned due to the exceptional quality of this property. Sadly, the standard of the cleaning has taken a nose dive. Some of the items were really dirty. The BBQ on the deck was filthy as were the items provided to clean it, so sadly not used by us. The couch needs a good steam clean/replacement - it smells, has pet hair under and has stains on the seating - we sprayed disinfectant & covered it with a blanket to use. We killed roaches nightly. The bottoms of our feet were black within an hour of walking barefoot on the floor throughout. We went to steam clean it ourselves with the unit provided but the steam roller was filthy, wet and very smelly & maybe a health hazard? A spare garbage bag or 2 would have been great also. The coffee machine we found but the pods provided did not fit & were not able to be purchased at the IGA in the village??

The only one thing I would say, like everyone else has said is the shower screen too short for the shower tray, so water goes everywhere’s

• Mymie (7/5): Good - Good location, 20 min stroll from Marina. Clear instructions on accessing the property. Adequate for 2-night stay. Small garden. 2 bedrooms, bathroom with w.c., basin and shower, guest w.c., open plan kitchen, lounge. Usual toiletries provided. Coffee, tea, sugar, bring your own milk. Wifi is intermittent, don't rely on it. Comfortable but some areas could do with a luck of paint.

The house had everything needed for a family stay, would highly recommend. Walking distance to the beach, cafe and small shops. The only thing was no drain in the bathroom, especially with an open shower. It was hard to keep the floor dry.

Under the house wasn't fenced off.. but that was only a minor thing as our pet dog kept going under the house.

Impossible to contain water in the shower due to lack of shower screen. Cockroaches in kitchen.

A bit misleading regarding distance to Cafes, Restaurants and Hotel but all still within walking distance. The beaches were great; uncrowded, ocean temp superb and crystal-clear water. Very relaxing, sitting out on the back deck. Another plus was its close proximity to Kiama, a bustling tourist town. All in all, really happy with the cottage, it's location and only a 3-hour drive from home. Nothing.

We loved we could bring our dog and the yard was fully fenced Felt super homey! For a weekend not in peak season it was probs a little bit $ but we did enjoy our stay very much and the property had everything we needed.

The accommodation had everything we needed including washer and dryer and a dishwasher. There was even lego for the kids. The place was clean and tidy and well looked after. The location was unbeatable in Shellharbour- Just on the edge of the village and 150m or so from the swimming pool. We were annoyed at ourselves for only booking 1 night and not 2. N/A

• Jackie (7/5): Cute house near the water. Needs some maintenance but good for an overnight stay. Owner helpful. - Location is close to the shops, ocean pools and restaurants. Nice thick towels supplied including face washers. Sitting areas at the front and back of the property. Condiments and food supplied for a continental breakfast (no bread/butter) cereal, pancake pkt & Noodles. Two toilets. Spacious bathroom with products supplied. Lots of throw rugs to use. Easy street parking outside the property. Bag of ice in the freezer. Owner responsive. Property was clean and neat. Easy to use keyhide system for access. Bar stools on the front deck. The road was quite busy when sitting out the front. During the night and early in the morning there were groups of kids roaming around being very noisy. Maintenance is required on the doors leading to the bathroom and toilet. They are heavy and stiff. Water from the shower sprays all over the floor. No fans in the bedrooms. Small A/c unit in lounge area. Did feel a bit stuffy at night. Limited room for your bags in the bedroom with the single beds. It’s a very small room with some hanging space for clothes but quite tight for two adults to use. The ocean pool is great and within walking distance but there is no beach to swim at as the shoreline is full of rocks with limited sand.

We left our car at the house most of the time and went exploring. The kids enjoyed the rock pools while we sipped our coffee. The location was spot on. The sun was also lovely on the front deck A bit of dust in kitchen and under beds

Not able to light the stove. Not at all clean. Queen bed sheet put on sideways, needed to remake the bed. bottom draw of the stove was disgusting. old bath towels, not luxury bath sheets. for $810 for 2 nights, very below par. The outside laundry was filthy.
• Cathy (10/5): wonderful place with lovely host. - close to shops and beach. lovely house and lovely host. nothing however there could of been a couple of improvements. the door in the bedroom bangs throughout the night. The bin needs fixing as you need to use your hands to open the lid which was unhygienic ( the batteries must of been dead and the lid did not have a handle to open) maybe another tea towel as there was only one.
• Nipuni (10/5): Excellent little beach house! - Loved the furnishing, very clean and many amenities available - perfect for families or groups! Hosts were also lovely and very prompt with replies! The bathroom could get a bit humid at times! But it was manageable. I also was charged a foreign currency fee for this booking, despite being an Australian booking a property in Australia using AUD - wasn't 100% what was happening there but I'm more than happy to revise this review if this is unrelated to the property itself
