- Jo (10/5): - Everything, from the freshly cooked loaf of home made bread with generous serving of butter and jam to the feeling of home away from home. Extremely welcoming atmosphere. The garden, with apples straight off the tree, eggs from the chickens and just the very country setting in the middle of suburbia. Everything about this stay rated 10++ and then some. Thankyou Judith. Absolutely nothing.
- Karen (10/5): We were welcomed by Judith on our arrival and we also had a freshly baked loaf of bread and homemade jam to enjoy. The a - Very welcoming and lovely and homely

The breakfast provisions were ample and were very much appreciated .
- John (9/5): Made to feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until our departure, thank you. - The owners supplied a selection of breakfast foods, including fresh eggs and milk. As well, upon arrival, we were made to feel welcome with a fresh, homemade loaf of bread, butter and jam waiting on the table for us. Lots of homely comforts throughout the cottage to make us feel welcomed. We were quite satisfied with our stay.
- Michael (9/5): Great locale and super cosy. - Freshly baked bread and eggs were very thoughtful and tasty. Could have used a BBQ, but not a big problem.

- Loretta (9/5): Perfect home away from home!! - Very comfortable...with everything you could possibly need.
Great location, and close to shops and beach.
Car parking was a little tight...only suitable for a small vehicle.
The extra touches (loaf of fresh baked bread, butter & jam was lovely!
And best of all a very comfy bed.
Highly recommend this great B & B... Car spot was very tight for small car.
Lounge recliner chair wasn't very comfortable but not a great problem...
Nichts, alles wunderbar
- graham (9/5): - Host pleasant and friendly Nothing
- Barnard (10/5): - Fantastic well appointed cottage. Host was wonderful. Greated us with a loaf of warm fresh bread, homemade jam and butter. Ideal place for a few days.
- Monica (7/5): The welcome and local support was great - Location was good and central The lounge needs replacing and isn’t comfortable
- gail (10/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): - Very comfortable stay
- sue (7/5): Great location but unsuitable for a long stay or a large vehicle. Very cluttered. - Location
Pleasant hosts Very cluttered we were there for 10N. It would have been OK for a weekend but not enough space for an extended stay.
Kitchen knives could cut people but not food.
Paths & parking area overgrown. Foliage needs to be cut back regularly so that if it does brush against people or vehicles it doesn’t cause damage.
Parking area is difficult & tiny. If you have a large vehicle it’s a tight fit.
- Kaye (10/5): Little piece of paradise - I loved everything. It had everything plus more. The hosts have lovingly looked after this property and their guests. Lots of thoughtful touches. Very homey and the perfect way to end our Tasmanian holiday. Absolutely nothing. It was 100% perfect.
- Thannavee (8/5): The location is very convenient and good area to stay. - Judith and Christ were very nice.
- Peter (7/5): It was perfectly fine for our requirements -
- Drew (7/5): Comfortable, warm, convenient and excellent value. - Welcome pack (fresh homemade bread and eggs from the chooks) was lovely.
Hostess was friendly and helpful.
Location was convenient to Kingston Beach and Blackmans Bay foreshores - cafes and walks. I found that the settee (couch) was lacking in back support and made my back sore after sitting for any period of time.
The frying pans had outlasted any non-stick feature making eggs difficult to remove without breaking yolks.
- Colin and Kathleen (8/5): -
- Todd (8/5): A great tiny home, all to yourself. - A loaf of fresh home baked bread awaited us with jam and butter ready to serve.
- Janet (10/5): 19 Blue was one of the best BnBs I’ve stayed in. - Everything! Including the wonderful hosts Judith and Chris and the calming experience of wandering through their bountiful vegetable garden free to pick dinner! Nothing!
- Adam (10/5): Great location, very comfortable, and great value for money - Easy to find, great location, very clean and comfortable, great communication by the accommodation owner. Nothing much, the property was as advertised and an excellent place to stay. Highly recommend.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional -

- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- Giroud (10/5): Exceptional - Without a doubt this would have to be one of the best accommodation places that we have stayed in ever.A big statement but true.An extremely well presented unit ,with so many thoughtful highlights. The garden is really stunning and productive. A lot of fresh goodies to make the stay one to remember. So comfortable especially the bathrobes. Incredible value for money. Judith and Chris are fabulous hosts. You have to experience this place to believe it.Handy access to shops and walkable to the beaches.A great base for exploring the region. Thankyou and keep up the great work. Nothing.
- Br (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adele (10/5): Exceptional - The welcome touches were perfect. Lovely and cosy place to stay. Peaceful and homely. It really did feel like an escape retreat home from home.
Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Good location from which to explore the local area.
There's even a resident Wallaby in the garden .. he's very shy so you have to be careful around him.
Lovely to sit on the little balcony having a nightcap as the sun goes down. The tv isn't a smart tv.. so no netflix to watch after a busy day exploring ... HOWEVER .. there is a good range of DVDs to watch .. so rather than wasting time scrolling through hundreds of films .. it kind of made us watch films we've never seen before .. and in the end we actually really enjoyed the slimmed down choices we had .. and the films we watched ... so even that turned out positive 😀
- Tonia (10/5): Great stay, can see why people want to come back. - Location was great, we used it for Bruny island visit, there was fresh bread, butter, homemade jam, fresh eggs, cereals, milk, lemons supplied. Was able to do some washing. Walked to the beach in the evening downhill wasn't noticeable but coming home was.
- Janene (10/5): Peace and quiet - a little piece of paradise. - The location was perfect for us. the cottage is surrounded by glorious gardens and veggie plots, and there were outdoor tables and chairs in two locations - front and back. Resident wallabies passed through occasionally, and the 4 hens provided fresh eggs. The cottage itself was delightful with everything one needs for cooking and eating well. The bed was comfortable and the washing machine worked very well, with a washing line provided. Freshly made bread, with butter and jam were waiting for us when we arrived, and the hosts were friendly but left us to our own during our stay. We couldn't have been happier here.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Personal touches, very homely, everything we needed. A true B&B All good.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Home away from home. Beautiful fresh bread and jam on arrival. Everything we could need in the kitchen. Full laundry facilities. Eccletic, cosy, comfortable.
- Deann (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host who prepared 19 Blue with love and care. It was cosy, welcoming and provided everything we needed. The home cooked bread and fresh eggs, along with other kitchen staples, was delicious and a lovely surprise.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (8/5): A comfy cottage where you feel at home - It was a lovely surprise to find 19 Blue. I’ve been staying in the area for years to visit family and came across the property by chance.
It is a fabulous cottage in a great location. It has all you need including a washing machine (brilliant) and a relaxing rocking chair to sit and relax look at the lovely view. Bed is very comfy.
The bread was a great surprise and the supplies provided very surprisingly and most generous.
The owners were absolutely delightful and made me feel very welcome on my arrival. There was nothing at all to “dislike” but it would be great if the wifi was a bit more reliable & faster. Perhaps installing a router/range extender could enhance this.
- Ian (10/5): Very comfortable cottage with everything you could want. Loved the homemade bread and jam. - Cozy comfortable cottage with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -

- Lisa (10/5): Enjoyable clean and comfortable - Location, close to the family members we were visiting. Self contained and had everything needed for a short break. Nothing
- Morna (6/5): Probably would be fine in summer but not comfortable enough in winter weather - Location No good for winter stays - not warm enough, cold floors. No Smart TV - limited viewing.
- Paul (10/5): We had a fantastic stay at Judith and Chris’ little blue cottage/studio. They really have thought of everything you - Everything was perfect. The cottage/studio was fantastic.
The location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, easy public transport with express bus to Hobart just a few min walk away. Close walking distance to shops and beach frontage with cafes and restaurants. Nothing at all.

We particularly enjoyed the productive garden environment.
Hosts - Judith and Chris very nice and obliging.
- Natalie (10/5): home away from home experience - the fresh ingredients were beautiful totally enjoyed only thing was no dryer for washing
- Diana (10/5): We were pleasantly surprised, it is a lovely cosy cottage with all amenities plus much more. - We loved everything about the cottage, there were so many extra homely touches. Fresh bread, butter and home made jam along with fresh eggs (from thier own hens) along with cereal, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and lots of other extras.
- Scott (10/5): Great Stay. - Everything was great, excellent value for what we needed. Very private and easy access. Nothing with the stay. only small point of feedback is in the booking.com profile it didn't say if it had a bathroom with shower and toilet so when we booked we just assumed that is would have one like most other stays do and indeed it did. So maybe just add that detail to the online profile.
- Leroy (10/5): Exceptional - Very welcoming feeling to the cottage. Clean, comfortable and well located for us. Couldn’t use on site parking because car scraped on steep driveway entrance.
- Kim (8/5): thought it would of been closer to the beach. - maybe update television. Netflix or more channels
- Tatjana (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Lissa (10/5): Exceptional -

- Barry (10/5): Fabulous - The property was fabulous, the hosts were very welcoming and even perform a short drama for guests. Attention to detail, for example the provision of coat hooks, robes, washing powder was exceptional. nothing

- Samantha (10/5): Will absolutely be back again! Thank you! - 19 Blue is a beautiful cottage, with everything you could ever need and more. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The bed was so comfortable and warm through the cold winters nights, the bathroom and shower wonderful and kitchen fully equipped for everything I needed during my stay.
It is a convenient, short walk to the local grocer (Hill street) post office, pharmacy and doctors if required. Beautiful Kingston beach and Blackmans Bay beaches are only a short walk too, with multiple eateries and cafes
A perfect place to stay, for both long and short visits. I can’t wait to come back
- Isabella (10/5): Amazing. Incredible. Perfect. - Perfect and quaint, just what I was after.
The selling point for me was the front garden/terrace, backyard view.
It added to not only, the atmosphere but overall vibe. I thought there was going to be an oven - could have been an oversight on my part.
Did not bother me after realising.
