Danke Gail & Geoff, see you🥰🌴 Nichts
- Michael (10/5): Cute Eclectic and Cosy Cottage on waterfront of Raymond Island in the Victorian Riviera. - Fabulous cottage, Great hosts, Magnificent location… bent over backwards to make us feel at home, seriously a 6 star hotel couldn’t do it as well as Gail and Geoff. Loved it.
- Judy (10/5): Raymond Island is a special place to retreat/take time out - wildlife, including koalas to be spotted while walking - Cosy, comfortable & with character. Hosts at the property were very helpful & provided over & above in the way of both basics and added extras/treats making us feel very welcome. Nothing !
- Joy (10/5): Home away from home - Apart from the excellent location and gorgeous quirky furnishings throughout the cottage, the hosts (Geoff and Gail) had thought of everything a visitor might require on holidays. Breakfast supplies, toiletries, bottle of wine, home-made lemon slice, ferry pass and more. Quality second to none! Wildlife in the backyard was a treat too. There was nothing we didn't like but WiFi would have been a bonus.
- Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garett (9/5): Great cottage, great hosts and great location. - The hosts were were friendly and helpful. The cottage was very nice - well decorated and the bed was very comfortable - and was in a great location. While the kitchen was cool - we loved all of the antiques - there wasn't much counter space and it was a bit difficult to cook much in there.
- Roger (10/5): Our stay in Raymond Island was a highlight of our holiday. - This is a gem of a place. We loved our stay at the Fisherman's cottage. The cottage is in a stunning location. The hosts, Gail and Geoff, were fabulous and had left us so many treats! We just wished we could stay longer. Raymond Island and it's wonderful wildlife is a very special location. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back again.

- David (10/5): Very relaxing and great fun watching the kangaroos in the paddock behind the property and the Koalas in the trees at the - The Cottage was delightful and in a beautiful garden in a lovely quit location but was also on the waterway
It was well furnished with unusual furnishings and the kitchen had everything we needed Nothing
- Jasmine (9/5): Me and my partner loved this little cottage. Great location, amazing hosts, relaxing weekend away. - Me and my partner loved the location. Right across the street from the water and the cottage was tucked nicely in the back. Loved the hospitality of the owners as well. Such a lovely weekend away and will defiantly be back. The place was great and really the only complaint is nitpicking, but the shower is not the best. Also no internet but that is okay as their is cell service on the island. Would be a 10 if these were not there.
- George (9/5): An enjoyable place to stay for two on pretty Raymond Island in the Gippsland Lakes - Continental breakfast was most adequate. Lemon slices and red wine much appreciated and enjoyed.
Location was very good being on a sealed road and close to the water. A few cobwebs around and uncomfortable furniture in the lounge bar the couch. Nothing too serious though!!
- Kylie (10/5): So much more than we had expected. Thank you - Everything was perfect. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable Absolutely nothing
- Ozitis (10/5): Cute cottage - hidden gem - Easy check in
Location- protected and hidden from street
Very friendly host
The cottage was super clean and had many supplies including breakfast
- Anne (10/5): Idyllic! - We loved Raymond Island. It was tranquil and picturesque. We loved the Australian flora (lots of Bankias) and fauna (kangaroos, koalas, parrots, swans...) The location of The Fisherman's cottage was excellent - on the waterfront and close to the ferry. We didn't use our car at all during our stay. Paynesville has many coffee and dining options and access via very frequent ferries is easy. The cottage itself was warm and cosy (in August). It is extremely well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The cottage felt welcoming with many generous touches such as snacks, biscuits and wine and a coffee machine with coffee. Bikes were offered (and ridden). The island is very flat and has few cars so is ideal for exploring by bike. Our hosts Geoff and Gail were perfect - very friendly and helpful but not intrusive.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful place. We have Vodaphone and we didn't have good reception or internet conection. Also we would have liked to have i
Wifi ;)
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
- Julian (10/5): a bijou magical property in a wildlife wonderland - bijou property outing charm in outstanding location. Amazing provisions supplied to ensure your first days stay was covered as no shops or cafes on island. Wonderful hosts made our stay even more special. Wildlife was stunning. Nothing - loved it all
- Kathryn (10/5): One of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed in. - so beautiful peaceful and comfortable. right opposite a lovely spot for swimming. very beautiful garden , superb comfortable bed , delightful and very helpful hosts. so wonderful we reorganized our holiday plans so that we could extend our stay. No insect screens or doors so we had to fully close up at night to avoid the insects. excellent Aircon and fan.
- Joanne (10/5): it was a wonderful holiday, very relaxing and refreshing. - it was a clean and refreshing cottage, there was everything you need and the location was great.
- Karenne (10/5): Exceptional -
