Super modern
Kitchen had nothing lacking, enabling us to enjoy great wines on a cheese board or bake a cake. We really appreciated the central heating on device and the ease of electric keypad locks and heating etc. The house is simply stunning and enabled our extended family to have quiet times in different areas
The pool toys, outdoor shower and paddle board were such luxuries for our family as we rarely stay by the beach and this made our lives so easy. Couple suggestions that we had considered; a permanent standalone heater for back room in winter as that room is much less warm than central heating so we felt too warm in house while trying to heat thay room.
And extra single bed sheet and duvet being accessible would have been great, I know we were supposed to establish layout of beds prior to arrival but after actually seeing layout we would have preferred to make twins upstairs, however didn't have this option.
We also felt terrible at the pool heater being on full time, and understand this couldn't be switched on and off, but didn't want to waste energy.
Would also love a pair of binoculars next time as the dolphins treated us with visits but we didn't travel with any.
Would also have loved small sachets for washing machine use, buying a whole box of powder for a short stay was our only option.
- Upton (9/5): The house was beautiful and perfect for our girls getaway. Would highly recommend this property. - The house was beautifully appointed and furnished. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a beautiful view. It was stated the pool was cleaned on fridays but we arrived on a Friday and it certainly didn’t seem like it had been cleaned. It was still ok to swim in but could have been cleaner.

- Lesley (10/5): Heaven - Location, location, location and the size of the and layout of the house - it was perfect for our family get together. Sharing the main bedroom en-suite with the fourth bedroom.
- Soofi (3/5): Overall we wasn’t happy - Property wasn’t that much as advertising No hot water in the morning to take showers
Is not 4 bedroom because two bedroom is sharing
Neighbours was old people just looking for excuse
Swimming Pool heater didn’t work

- Leanne (8/5): A lovely stay in a great location. - Lovely view. Host very accommodating. Good location. Enjoyed use of paddleboard and kayak. Short of supplies- ran out of toilet roll, no shampoo/conditioner which I would expect for a property costing that much money. Also, I didn’t love the bedroom that you had to walk through the other bedroom into the lounge room.
- Jazz (7/5): Overall, would have given a 10/10 if not for some hiccups faced and issues I’ve stated above - which I believed coul - We stayed at this property from End Nov to Early Dec period. Location is perfect; nearest shopping mall - Salamander Bay square is just few mins drive and has everything ranging from groceries to clothing store and clinics.
What we love:
1) Place is near Soldier’s point where few of the recommended restaurants are within walking distance. Anna Bay is 10 mins drive from the place.
2) Accommodation is comfortable throughout the stay, cool and quiet vicinity. Waking up to the breeze and the waves of the sea is pure bliss. Seaview can be directly viewed from our bedroom. This is our dream property.
3) The property has catered meshed to keep insects away from entering the place.
4) Team Port Stephens even catered a complimentary white wine for us (Lovely gesture! We felt really welcomed).
5) Automated dish washing and the complimentary sponge, dishwashing liquid, brush, utensils, plates, bowels, wine glass makes our stay feel like home.
6) Love the convenience of having 2 fridges both upstairs and downstairs, microwave oven, an Oven and Stove for cooking.
7) We appreciate the hangers, extra toiletries, shower cap and extra towels provided for our big family.
8) Washing machine found downstairs makes it convenient to wash our clothes after a day out (but no detergent provided)
9) The pool table proves to be an engaging and recreational centerpiece, providing a source of entertainment and social interaction for our family. 1) As non-locals, we were unaware of the strict requirement for a AUD2k security deposit prior to the stay. This amount significantly impacted my credit card's limit, and despite explaining, they insisted on credit card payment only. Cami, a staff member, was incredibly helpful in assisting with the card payment switch and assured us that the amount is fully refundable should there be no damages found. However, when the amount was credited back, it resulted in an additional $121 due to incurred bank charges and exchange rate variances. For future non-local guest, do be mindful to cater such difference into your hotel budgeting.
2) The property lacked proper cleanliness. As Asians, we adhere to the practice of not wearing shoes indoors out of respect for the property. However, upon discovering our feet turned black, we had to wear shoes inside, and unfortunately, there were no slippers provided on the premises.
3) Trash and litter left by previous guests were not cleared, prompting us to contact Cami (thank you so much) for assistance in getting Helen (wonderful lady) to address the issue. Despite assurances of a next-day cleanup, multiple reminders were needed before the trash was finally cleared. This situation left us with no alternative for disposing of our trash.
4) We were excited to discover a BBQ pit upon booking the property. However, upon opening it, we found the grills charred with leftover food from the previous guest, making it unhygienic for us to use.
5) We experienced a sense of insecurity when we noticed the gates seemingly opening by themselves after using the remote to close them.
6) There was a soaking wet mat right outside the door when we arrived, and it appeared that it hadn't been replaced beforehand.
7) Late Check-in at 3pm and early checkout at 10am. Could have adhered to normal hotel practices. Yet, the property wasn’t well-cleaned.
- Anonymous (10/5): A place that ticks all the boxes!! I mean everything! - Location on the beachfront was beautiful. Great size house to fit the family plus couple friends. The heated pool for any time of day swimming and space for the entertaining downstairs with the pool table and bar. Plus a great spot on the up stairs balcony for a bbq!
Last but not least the morning sun rise is absolutely stunning. None that I can think of.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Pool View

- M (10/5): Perfect family getaway in a great location - Amazing and convenient location with the water literally accessed through the backyard. Perfect area for morning beach walks and fishing nearby. 5 minute drive to Corlette Bay for yabby hunting during low tide. The heated pool was a perfect addition. There were 2 kayaks and a paddleboard available for use, as well as pool toys. There is also a garage available for parking which wasn't mentioned in the property description, which is handy, as there isn't any street parking. Only downside was the 2 upstairs bedrooms divided by the shared ensuite. The 2nd bedroom can only be accessed by walking through the ensuite. Not a problem if it's one family sharing the 2 bedrooms.
- Rahisha (5/5): Beautiful location. - Beautiful location, heated pool was fab, very nice and big kitchen and had lots of utensils, bakeware, cutleries. Bbq facilities.
The fridge was stocked with loads of ice which was just what we needed on a hot day.
Snooker pool in the house was a bonus.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. No extra toiletries provided.
No extra condiments provided.
No milk provided.
- Mary (8/5): Amazing experience for my son’s friends, love every minute of it, it just shame we couldn’t have family members visit us - it’s was really great for the kids it had everything for them. you couldn’t have family visitors and they were local people.
