• Suzanne (10/5): A lovely family getaway - We loved the size for all of us to spread out & have our own space. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of plate, cups, glasses, pots, pans, sandwich press, tea towels, towels & blankets ect. But the best thing was the view from the balcony & the location. We were able to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again The only thing we didn't like was the iron as it kept leaking water all over our clothes. A full length mirror would be great too.
• Peter (10/5): Lovely, bright, spacious house with excellent views over the river - The house was very nice and it has a lovely view out over the river mouth and hills in the distance. While the house itself is on 2 levels, the bottom level is locked off and so only the top level (which is at street level) is used. This level has all 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one being a shared family bathroom and one being an ensuite), the living/dining area and kitchen. The outdoor balcony is off this living area and it has its own table and chairs. It looks out over the lovely view. Overall there is plenty of space. 2 bedrooms have king beds but the third has a smaller bed. It would be good if it also had a king bed as it is the bedroom with the ensuite and it also has the best view of the three bedrooms (being a lovely bush view), but this would probably mean removing a small set of drawers. We found the kitchen suitably equipped and the beds, lounges and dining furniture were all comfortable and functional. The driveway allows a couple of cars to park in front of the garage (which was locked off and not usable for our stay) as well as a small parking space to the side for a third car. Getting out onto the passing road is a little tricky , but is doable with some care. The location is great as its only a short walk to the main street. Communication with the host was very good. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend the accommodation. Nothing much. But if I had to be picky, while we found the indoor areas to be very clean, the outdoor area and its chairs could have done with a bit more of a sweep and a wipe down respectively.

• Pollard (9/5): A hidden gem, close to everything and styled for relaxation. - The view is one of the first things we noticed - uninterrupted views to the river and lagoon allowed us to watch the changing sky, storms and traffic on the river. The living space was varied and comfortable [although we did have to move the lounge closer to the tv...], beds were comfortable and there was a choice of pillows, which was great. The kitchen could use a knife upgrade and a couple of fry pans, but there was plenty of other things and we made do. I would like to see salt and pepper in the pantry at all times - just not something most of us think to bring away with us and its annoying to have to buy more. Also the red bin needs a clean - it was hard to get near it.

Booking.com did not send booking information until the owner contacted them. They did not send a code for the lock box & we could not get in until contact was made with the owners.

• Danielle (9/5): Superb - Being in the centre of town it was so close to everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family's short stay. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all the cooking facilities needed. Communication from the hosts about accessing the house was excellent. Property was really clean. Appreciated the secure parking for our vehicle. The only negative would be that there was no clothes dryer or clothes drying rack. There was only a clothes line along the side of the house, if it was raining there would be no way to dry the washing.
• Sally (1/5): We froze, and had to wear our clothes in bed and had to go off site for warm showers - The house was clean. Nice view Unbelievably disappointing! There was no hot water for our whole stay. There was no heating...we were freezing. There were no electric blankets or hot water bottles. No tissues in bathrooms. No tea or coffee or milk. It felt so unwelcoming. We were unable to advise the manager of this issue as their phone number was at the home and we were out all day everyday. Should not have needed to complain about basic expectations like hot water and heating

• Lee (9/5): value for money, comfortable, beautiful ocean views from the balcony, everything we required in the apartment. - Loved the size/layout of the accommodation, also that the property had everything at hand plus more i.e, all utensils required, Beach equipment for kids in the garage, board games and puzzles, t.v Netflix capability and most of all the view from the balcony/seating room over the ocean down below is a beautiful way to relax. would have been good if the garage was accessible from the house. Other than that nothing else.
