Guest Reviews
- Wendy (9/5): - Situation. Close to the shops plus the beach Nothing
- Maugueret (9/5): - We had access to milk cereals and coffee butter jam so we really appreciate our host for thinking of those small details . The location was perfect close to restaurants, groceries ,beach, and areas to visit. We were very satisfied , nothing to dislike .
- Helen (10/5): A wonderful cottage for rest, relaxation, beach time and coffee at nearby shops. - The supplies were amazing. Leaf tea, fruit tubs, shampoo, laundry detergent, bonus voucher for dinner nearby, banana lounge etc, etc
Comfort, sun room, clothes drying rack, walk to the beach and shops. We heartily recommend BBC to anyone. N/A
- Emmanuel (10/5): Very friendly host. Accommodated our stay. We will rebook again. Thank you - St Leonards is a great location, close to shops, pubs and beach and more. Everything that we needed was there. It felt comfortable.
- Peter (10/5): - .Very clean
.Very beautiful home
.Dianna (the owner) was very helpful
.This place is amazing
.Highly recommended
- chendi (10/5): - Everything meet our requirements. The cottage is unique. Poor phone reception but understandable in that area.
- Tracey (10/5): It was lovely to come back to the property each evening after a busy day to relax, warm up and unwin - Cosy, inviting…. The bed was so comfortable
- Patty (10/5): Bay Bell Cottage was the perfect get away place in a perfect quiet location. - The cottage felt like a home away from home. It had all we needed and more. The little things that the host Dianna thought of were great. It was just the little extras that you don’t normally see when you stay at a property. Nice and clean and cozy.
It was only a 10 minute walk to the main road and pier and the walks along the shore line were so calming.
- Vita (10/5): Great little cottage for equiped with all you’d need for a mini break awsy - Close to beach and Main Street within walking distance . Perfect for a couple or 4 people. Well equipped with everything u need . Internet wasn’t good wouldn’t be good if u were wanting to work from there. Otherwise if are looking some entertainment u can make do with DVDS supplied to watch a movie or play darts
- Flora (10/5): - Location, quietness. Mosquitoes

- Holly (10/5): Surpassed expectations. Cute little house with everything you could need for any type of stay & weather! - The photos don’t do this place justice. There were so many gorgeous little touches that made this stay so perfect. Dianna really did think of everything. Great location, comfortable beds, spacious outdoor area. Has absolutely everything you need, from brochures about the area, cooking equipment, dvds for a night in, games for some fun, even a dart board and emergency bathroom essentials (which we ended up needing because we forgot a toothbrush!). Would absolutely stay again if in the area. No wifi, but that’s more so to do with the poor internet in the area, so understandable. The water from the cold water tap came out a bit yellow at the start, and didn’t taste nice so we didn’t drink it. But we just bought water from the store nearby.

Spare toiletries, champagne glasses, breakfast cereal if required, milk, coffee, tea varieties.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (10/5): Very Relaxing & Comfortable stay. - We found Bay Bell Cottage just what we needed for a couple of days relaxation. Cottage well positioned, you can park the Car and Walk to local shops or out for Tea.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional - The Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely blown away by how lovely it was the origami cranes where adorable and definitely spread some happiness all the back to Sydney
- Gerry (8/5): This older cottage was very comfortable and owners welcoming with tea, cereals etc available. - Great location. Easy walk to village
- John (8/5): Very comfortable but the lack of what today is an expectation [ Wi-Fi ] let's is down. - The Cottage is very comfortable and the attention to detail by the Host is admirable. No Wi-Fi connection. When I queried this the host indicated that it wasn't included as she wanted the guests to "chill out".
Thats fine but the Guest should be making these decisions not the host!! I didn't need Wi-Fi for anything but personal/business issues.
- Claudia (10/5): Amazing and cozy - The cozy feel That there was no wifi only because of work reason other then that nothing
- Elpedio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Markus (9/5): Superb - very nice host, complimentary surprises, easy parking No Wifi (unfortunately I did not realize before booking)
- Geoffrey (10/5): Perfect weekend - Very thoughtful owners as every conceivable need and living items were provided for. Very cheerful vibe happening at this very comfortable house. Very quiet neighbour hood. Short stroll to the beach and shops. Happy to recommend Shower a little small

- Raelene (10/5): Fabulous beach holiday house - we will def be back to stay another time - Beautiful beach cottage, every amenity and possible need taken care of… Calm quiet location, within easy walking distance of beach, pub and shops - fab for Easter break NA
- Francey (9/5): Superb - Special touches around the cottage makes you feel more like family than a paying guests. Fabulous range of local information to help plan daily activities Nothing to not like
- Quinsee (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location; everything that you could need was available. Very comfortable house. Probably could do with at least one comfortable chair/recliner. We were there for 12 days.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (7/5): Good - It smelt a little musty
- Geoff (10/5): Fine and homely alternative to an apartment on the Bellarine, with all the detailed touches supplied - If you enjoy a stay in a homely place (not in Queenscliff) on the Bellarine, Bell Bay Cottage will tick the box. The attention to detail of your host is what stands out, she provides all the small touches you could desire (and some you would not think of yourself) to make you feel at home. All the advantages of a proper house, the centre of St Leonards is short drive or a 10 - 15 minute walk. If you need Wi-Fi I think there is none?. We just hotspotted our iPad to our mobile to overcome.
- Lynne (10/5): Great place to chill. - Breakfast was good. Location easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised with everything 😊 there was so much information on the area that you can explore.
- Rosa (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (8/5): A comfortable home away from home. - The owners have spent a lot of time and effort making the house comfortable for guests. There was even an emergency pack with things guests might have forgotten to take.
- Sue (10/5): convenient and comfortable with everything you need. Great host! - Beautifully decorated and comfortable with many things provided. I particularly appreciated the bottle of wine.
- Wendy (9/5): A lovely place to get away for a short break or a longer holiday. Very comfortable. - It was a warm and inviting cottage with everything you needed to have an enjoyable and relaxing getaway. Dianna had included all the necessities plus some nice extras that were most welcome. It has a coffee pod machine and kitchen pantry items that were most useful. Not anything to complain about at all. If anything the TV could have been a big larger, but that's being picky.
- Todd (10/5): Gorgeous cottage with so many places to explore. - Such a beautiful cottage, all the touches that Dianna had added made it perfect. We loved our stay there. The location was fantastic with everything so close to explore. The pelicans at the pier were gorgeous. The only thing was no wifi but everything else was perfect.
- John (10/5): Pampered - the house was exceptional provided everything we needed and more n/a
- Peter (10/5): Had everything we needed and more. - Very comfortable, well laid out.
Had everything you needed.
Had coffee pods, jams, vegemite, and other foods to give you a good start.
Good on line welcome package before we came which helped in our planning. Nothing I can think of.
- Brett (10/5): Excellent. Plenty of additional touches to make your stay more enjoyable. Highly recommend. - Dianna was great with her communication and hospitality. Upon arrival Bay Bell Cottage was extremely clean and inviting. It's very apparent that Dianna has gone to a great deal of effort to make guests comfortable and welcome. It's a short walk to the town centre and waterfront area. We were very happy with our 3 night stay and would certainly book again, without hesitation. It was great. No dislikes at all.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Nothing
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Relax - Very fresh, welcoming cottage in a tranquil location. Perfect for relaxing and exploring surrounding areas.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoff (9/5): Very pleasant and homely stay in St Leonards. - The property is very carefully managed with care and attention to detail most everywhere, clearly aimed at making it a 'homely' place to stay, with pretty much all the things you could expect or want for. It is a (near) seaside cottage/house on a near full-sized property with a pleasant large garden to spend time in. Breakfast was technically not included, but Dianna made sure there was enough there for a basic continental breakfast if you were caught short. 10 - 15 minute walk to town for supplies as needed. Coffee machine with plenty of pods available. Only thing missing - at least we did not find it, and didn't bother to ask - was wi-fi,
- Emma (10/5): wonderful have already booked a return stay - the property was very comfy and homely lots of supplies available good quality linen and kitchen products
Di the owner is lovely and great with communication
- Julie (9/5): Very pleasant and comfortable cottage. The host provided over and above what was expected. - That the accomodation provided everything we needed for our stay. The Kitchen had supplies that we weren't expecting as well as bathroom that we didn't need to think about anything. Nothing
- Mark (10/5): Great weekend in fantastic Bay Bell Cottage - My partner and I and my Mum thought the entire property was fantastic. Dianna has literally thought of every single little item you could possibly want. She missed nothing. Lovely beachside, nautical theme, great use of colours. Her artwork on display is fantastic. Very comfortable beds. Cannot fault this property in any way whatsoever. Walking distance to beach and shops Not one of us thought of anything that could be better. If there was something we didn't think of at first, when we did, we checked cupboards etc and there it was
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
