Guest Reviews

- Nicole (10/5): - The location was fantastic and the property was beautiful. Waking up to wildlife and enjoying the variety of birds each morning made the experience truly relaxing and peaceful. Unfortunately, there was no undercover parking.
- Liana (9/5): Cosy Escape - The location was perfect, lovely view and walkway. The fire place and split timber was great for the cold weather and the kangaroos and bird life were beautiful. The pillows on the beds need replacing...they are a bit flat! Shower head needs to be adjustable for those taller people to fit under!
- Sue (1/5): Miserable to be honest.....all due to the hosts. Future guests please beware. - The hosts. We accidently broke a plastic soap dispenser and the messages and the tone was so rude and accusing. The house had no wifi and we didn't have internet (being international), and then couldn't contact them using the free Telecom wifi as booking.com would not connect. Accidents do happen and if this dispenser was so precious then why would they leave it in the house, especially given this was the only soap in the house and thus would be used. Really disappointed as have never struck hosts like this before and really spoiled our Jervis Bay stay.
- Eva (4/5): Pretty.... disappointing - It is a beautiful setting, just back from the water with birds in the trees and the occasional kangaroo in the garden. It also has a well equipped kitchen I was generally disappointed with the cleanliness of the home. There was dirty chopping boards in the kitchen, cobwebs all over the outdoor furniture(concerning for the overseas guests), dirty barbacue and marked dusty accumulation in the bedrooms.
I reached out to the host during the stay to let him know and give them an opportunity to rectify things. I never received a reply. Very poor communication.
- Aifen (10/5): The house is in a picturesque location where you can comfortably enjoy nature . - The house is situated in a picturesque location.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - sensational location looking over the lake
- Kathy (10/5): Exceptional -

- Lewis (7/5): Though requiring some TLC, we had a great time at this place and our kids had room to roam. - The location. The beds - most of us slept very well. The peace and quiet. The gardens, plenty of space for a family! The shared areas could've been cleaner. A little tired in places and lacking some attention to detail. No WiFi.
- Oskis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rose (9/5): All in all a great getaway - Location was great. Nice home. The smell of sewage in the afternoons was pretty bad. Unsure where it was coming from but very strong odour
- Hossain (1/5): All the room was dusty, no blind in the lounge room sliding door and the mosque net has a big hole, - Location is good Facilities and the owners behaviour extremely poor
- Alana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neeti (10/5): Great holiday experience with family amidst nature !! - It was a beautiful space with a magnificent view!! N/a
- Kath (9/5): We would definitely book this place again - What a stunning View up in the tree tops and water down below, so quiet and peaceful. The walk along the bay was so relaxing. Bird life so good. place was decked out pretty well, new towels maybe and a wipeout of kitchen draws
- Adriana (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kimberly (8/5): Perfect location for a relaxing family holiday and close to many beautiful beaches - Beautiful outlook and well kept lawns and gardens. Loved the cross breeze through the house.
Perfect for a family with young children. Boardwalk walkway around the waterfront that can be accessed from the backyard. Quiet environment and only a 15 min drive to many lovely beaches and to Huskisson. Could do with an indoor clothes line for if it is raining
- Gabriella (10/5): Exceptional - This place is so beautiful! The house and the lake are stunning. My friends and I had the best time.
- Mabel (8/5): Very good - no breakfast supplied coffee+tea only no wifi
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Oconnor (8/5): Very good - Great location by the water. No lock on the toilet door, Wi-Fi access would be preferable.
- Beecroft (9/5): Superb - Host was detailed in how to obtain keys and unlock the home. Some windows couldn't be opened
- Louise (10/5): Obliging hosts, the property was everything we were looking for and we plan to book again. - Tony and Isabelle were very obliging to meet a request we made when we booked the house - they were great hosts. It was wonderful to have a bath tub! And it was nice to find a property that had a fire place. Great to have working exterior sensor lights. Linen and towels were provided which was an added bonus. Due to the fire place not having a guard, the property may not be suitable for families with young children.
- Akshay (8/5): Very good - Location of the Property. So calm Should have more facilities like air conditioning/heater im all rooms, only 1 bathroom and toilet, didn't have wifi, not enough lights indoor and outdoor too.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -

- Peter (10/5): Wonderful short stay for family getaway and friends to enjoy the river and wildlife. - The location was wonderful with water views and a walking track at the bottom of the garden. The garden and house was beautiful. Wonderful birds and kangaroos all around. Very peaceful and clean. Everything in working order. Little muddy out the back, but that was because of the rain. In dryer periods it would be beautiful to sit and take a walk along the river.
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (6/5): Nice view, but disappointed with the cleaning standard. - It had a nice outlook and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was really unclean. The place really needs to be updated. The cookware was in terrible condition, scratched etc. Plates are cracked and chipped and there’s no matching glassware. We had to clean everything before we could use it. The appliances desperately need updating. There was no provision of basics like Salt & Pepper, or body soap. The pantry had a collection of items I assume previous guests had left, like pasta and rice and random herbs, but no olive oil for cooking.
Strongly suggest updating the kitchen, or at least giving it a thorough clean (there’s food crumbs in cupboards and drip marks down all the drawer and cupboard fronts, just to name a few issues).
Replace all the kitchenware as it was nearly impossible to use it’s so old and damaged. Supply cooking oil, salt and pepper, and body wash.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey (10/5): would be delighted to return one day. Thank you. - Beautiful, peaceful setting. Comfortable bed. Most helpful host, readily available if questions arose.
Kangaroos grazing on the back grass, it’s that peaceful and safe for them. loved it
- Bessie (9/5): Superb - The view was beautiful It could do with a bit of a clean
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The house was.lovely and very well stocked with everything needed. Beds and couches were comfortable. Beautiful garden with lots of birdlife. The kids loved the games and puzzles. The TV had bad reception.
