Guest Reviews
- Maleesha (10/5): -
- Hash (10/5): Perfect - Everything was perfect
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - was an amazing mini getaway not too far but feels far enough away from society , very relaxing and had everything you could need, thank yous for an amazing few nights would definitely stay again!!! also loved the dog friend we made on the trip would come by every night to sit with us by the fire the toilet took a bit to get used to but wasn’t the worst
- Shervin (8/5): Very good - Megan was really helpful and it was easy to get in touch with her in case of need. The location was nice, specifically because of some uninvited guests such as some kookaburra and Diesel, the neighbour's dog. The only thing made me and my partner really uncomfortable was the type of toilet they are using which is really awkward. I prefer normal toilets not these eco friendly ones.
- Kristen (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning accommodation, easy / beautiful drive!
Local pub is only 7mins away and was also amazing.
Loved we could bring our puppy, and Diesel was a well behaved guest!
Would absolutely stay again
- Adam (7/5): Good -
- Annemarie (7/5): Lovely location but some furniture dated. - Location Outside equipment-seating area in poor condition -rattan couches. Could do with replacement - rattan fraying.
Some areas of walls not clean. Bedroom window when opened difficult to close again.
Decking could do with a repaint.
- Sophia (9/5): Beautiful, recommend - The surrounding trees, wallabies and wrens. Great verandah and BBQ patio. Hosts were great. Dog friendly I wouldn't mind having the toilet separate to the building or to let the toilet fan/chimney face in a direction away from the verandah
- Don (4/5): Great Concept but things can improve - The concept Toilets, space can be better, looks spacious on pictures.
- Andy (7/5): Good -
- Jesse (9/5): Tranquil, eco-friendly stay away from the city. - Tranquil location, tucked away really close to convenient town in Beaconsfield but you wouldn't know it otherwise. Beautiful eco-friendly stay. Only thing was that it was a little smaller than images may suggest but this was no real issue.
- Joffa (10/5): Hidden treasure we'll return to - Communication from Hosts is excellent and they are so easy to contact and respond immediately. Easy to locate and find. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is there. The setting is beautiful, quiet and enchanting. Outdoors good firewood, fire pit, BBQ, lounge setting, table and chairs and bar and stools are well set up for outdoor dining and relaxing. Indoors all kitchen needs are there, stove top, coffee machine, kettle, plenty storage boxes around bed. Bathroom very roomy, toilet works well and plenty hot water in shower. Best part was being able to bring your own dog and watch him play with Diesel the resident security Labrador. Close to couple towns for last minute supplies. Leaving.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (10/5): So relaxing - Such a lovely couple of days! Highly recommend this place for a reset. Beautiful spot not too far from the city to read, eat and sleep. The visit from the dog who came and sat on the verandah with me quietly was great. Will be back
- Melissa (9/5): Pretty & inviting! - Location was in a pretty & private setting. Out host was fantastic & made us feel very welcome. Also she was very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out around midnight! We were offered & accepted to stay an extra night for only $50 more. Definitely made for a better weekend. Nil
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Comfortable stay. - The Serenity.
Cute small property, perfect for the night stay in the area.
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Licinia (10/5): AMAZING - such a sweet tiny home, surrounded by nature, great place to chill and unwind, not to mention the Tiny Away Team, great service, so helpful and thoughtful, will definitely go back. Poor phone reception but that’s not their fault, even though I love the serenity, I struggled to fly the drone with very little reception, I was hoping to take some good shots of the place.. still I would go back.
- Lilly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belinda (10/5): lovely stay for our 13th anniversary - set in beautiful brush land, the wood fire is true highlight
- Skye (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the property is so peaceful. Perfect little getaway for my partner and i.
- Tiffany (7/5): Good - - cute little abode
- easy to get to location
- fire pit is nice
- clear and easy communication by owner - lack of essentials, only one tea towel in room and no sponge. barely any salt or pepper and no milk etc. lack of tea varieties. not as “homey” as we would like.
- a tv should be optional
- outdoor furniture was cheap and uncomfortable
- ledge near the outdoor stools is dangerous if you tuck yourself in too far
- Duque (8/5): Very good -
- Charyl (5/5): Passable - The location was peaceful and close enough to shops if you need supplies. The heater was on 31 and wasn’t letting out any heat the Tiny House was very cold and damp at night, pack a hot water bottle as there is no microwave for heat bags and no electric blankets. You will also need to pack coffee if you drink it. Pack a torch if you want to use the BBQ after dark as there minimal outside lighting.
- Brady (7/5): Good - Lovely setting, peaceful, cosy and perfect for a quiet getaway. The outside decking and patio with firepit / BBQ was perfect for opening up the space, however it was a bit cold for us to fully enjoy it. Although we had a great stay, there were a few things that diminished our experience, and if improved would make for a perfect stay:
- the coffee pods provided weren't compatible with the coffee machine which meant there was no coffee (despite this being a feature in the marketing)
- composting toilet was not the most pleasant to use. I get that it's eco friendly but it's just not the same as a regular toilet and feels less hygienic.
- there was no recycling bin which seemed unusual for an eco style accommodation...and considering so much emphasis on a composting toilet I would think recycling is easy to provide. For someone that is very diligent with recycling in my everyday life, it felt wrong to throw recyclables in the general rubbish :(
- a small microwave would be a useful addition. I pre-cooked meals so we didn't need to cook for the weekend. However, The gas stove was useful albeit a very tight space to work with.
- Madie (10/5): Excellent stay - The property was gorgeous, the house was modern but eco-friendly and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the minimal contact with hosts also The shower base filled up very quickly and took quite a while to drain, so we had take very very short showers.
