Gerald (1/5): A very disappointing experience. - I know the Steinach area well and was looking forward to visiting Wipptal again. Unfortunately, even though I had paid for the week's rental in full, we could not make the trip because one of our party, who was also our driver in his car, had to go into hospital for that week at shoty notice. I notified the hosts to explain the problem and asked whether we could change the date to any time in the summer or the following year but they were extremely unhelpful and simply replied that there was no availability, making no attempt to offer any alternatives. (I checked the website and saw that there was indeed availabilty for 6-day slots, which would have been fine and of course much better than nothing).
