It was comfortable, cosy, clean and conveniently located near town. Our 2 cavoodles loved the yard and we loved having them with us. We all felt welcomed and relaxed. We would love to go back!

• EMMA (10/5): Excellent dog friendly cottage within walking distance to Margaret River. - The house was private and quiet with a short walk into town. The grassed backyard with high solid fencing was ideal for our dog. The rooms and bathroom were larger than expected. The eggs were appreciated and delicious, thank you. Nothing
• MUR (9/5): - The location was good. 20 minute walk to the lower end of Margaret River main street. 5 minute drive. There was tea, coffee, milk, and fresh eggs. Great size unit and parking very secure. All out of sight from the street. Washing machine was a bonus. Great shower. We didn't have a dog (as it is very dog friendly) but will rent one for next time. Nothing really, unless you are very picky.
• Sines (10/5): 10 out of 10 from us - Hubby and I and our 4 yr old Frenchie had a fabulous time at Happy Dogs Cottage. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Our furbaby loved the fully enclosed garden .We will definitely be back .10 out of 10 from us There was nothing we didnt like

• michelleangeli (8/5): - Quiet neighborhood and a nice suburb, dog friendly, big fenced in yard for the dog to have a run. The host provided complete facilities for a home away from home experience. It is close to the town centre and a trail to the river that is dog friendly as well.

• Pat (9/5): Lovely, dog-friendly accommodation. Perfect for a single or a couple. Highly recommended. - Such a lovely stay. A few minutes' short drive to the middle of Margaret River. There's a private and fenced back yard area for the dog. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for a short stay. The owner is responsive to queries via the Booking message portal. Not a lot that we don't like at the place. If we have to nitpick here. The sofa cushions have a bit of a doggy smell. Probably need cleaning/washing between stays.

Quite basic kitchen, would be nice to have built in oven and stove, but you can't have everything. Outdoor A/C unit very noisy when running, couldn't sleep with it on.

• Melissa (10/5): Just Pawsome ❤️ - The location was awesome, as close enough to walk into town and too amenities, but far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. Cosy, comfortable and everything you need to be self sufficient is provided. Fab backyard for our dog to run around in too. The books full of info and all things dog friendly were very helpful and overall, we had a wonderful stay.

• Amanda (9/5): Wonderful stay for happy dogs and their families! - Happy Dogs Cottage is a lovely quiet retreat close to Maragaret River and perfect for exploring the South West. It is one of the few places with a fully enclosed yard for dogs. The living area and bathroom are spacious and the property is very well kept. We cooked one meal on the BBQ which was fine. A portable stove top is provided, however the kitchen is a bit limited for cooking main meals.

• Kirsty (9/5): A relaxing and happy place to be. - Loved the tucked away position, it had everything we needed for our two day getaway. It was quirky and really lovely. Our dogs were very comfortable, loved the garden, as we only have a small area for them at home. Nothing. Unfortunately the weather was not great - but that allowed us to wallow in the luxury of the pot belly stove.

• Amanda (9/5): Brilliant dog-friendly cottage - The location is in a tranquil established suburb of Margaret River, very close to the town centre. The property was spacious and had a great enclosed backyard for our dog. It had tiled floors which was practical and presented a high standard of cleanliness. Our hosts were readily available and quick to replace a broken kettle. Rachel was also very warm and understanding when we needed to cut short our trip due to family illness. The cottage suited our needs perfectly for a long weekend. We cooked one night on hotplates and there is a BBQ too. There is also a microwave but no conventional oven.

• Nicola (10/5): A truly wonderful first doggy holiday with our pup - Happy Dogs is brilliant. - Such a fabulous cottage for us and our puppy's first holiday. Great facilities - including a secure backyard. Very cosy with the woodburner. Very close to Margaret River - we walked to a nearby dog friendly pub and also a brewery in town. Wineries, breweries and beaches in driving distance. Lovely to meet our hosts upon checking in - the key was in the door but they popped round to say hi - and Rachel was fantastic at providing information on dog friendly wineries/breweries and cafes. Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to go back. Everything was great.

• Karen (7/5): Relaxing, clean and practible property to stay if you are looking at holidaying with your dog. - The fenced off backyard to the property provided a lovely and secure space for our fur baby to run around and enjoy himself. The location of the property was walking distance to the MR township and there were lovely bush walks nearby. The hosts are lovely and very friendly. The couch wasn't so comfortable and a little harder for us aging generations to get out of.
