The lodge is beautifully renovated; it blends metal and glass craftsmanship with warm, inviting interiors that make it a unique “showroom-lodge.” 🛏 Accommodation & comfort With six spacious bedrooms (up to 15 people) spread over three levels, there’s plenty of space for groups or families — yet plenty of privacy too when you want to retreat to read or relax in peace. The common areas are great for socialising: a fully equipped kitchen plus a cosy lounge with TV and comfortable seating. It’s a perfect setup whether you want to cook a hearty meal after skiing or simply hang out with friends. 🌿 Relaxation & wellness: Sauna, showers, terrace & more After a long day of slopes, hikes or biking, the lodge’s sauna + multi-sensory (experience) shower is pure magic — ideal for unwinding tired muscles and finding peace and relaxation. Additionally, there’s a spacious outdoor terrace (80 m²) with lounge sofas, an outdoor kitchen, BBQ and fireplace — perfect for summer evenings under the stars or a warm post-sauna barbecue. 🏔 Location & extras The lodge sits right by the river Saalach and still offers easy access to the centre of Saalbach, making it a great base for exploring or hitting the slopes. If you’re into fitness or workouts even while on holiday — the neighbouring “Werkstatt” open-gym (CrossFit facility) is available for guests, giving you a chance to stay active with a view over the river. 🙏 Hospitality & vibe Blackriver Lodge isn’t just a holiday-house. • Tim (10/5): Fab Lodge in a great location for a summer MTB group - Excellent large property for a group in summer. Close to Saalbach center (7 min walk) for bars, shops and the gondolas. The Joker cards included in the stay got us discounted lift passes and other benefits. Secure bike storage was perfect. The riverside terrace was lovely for Bbq dinners and evening chats. Rooms are spacious and beds were very comfy. Our host Evy was fab - quick to respond on WhatsApp and always available across the road of we needed anything. Would highly recommend for a summer group stay. The only issue we found was the kitchen is quite small for a large group, but only really at breakfast when everyone is trying get to the coffee to start their day!

• Georgina (10/5): Perfect place for large groups. - The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the spa was perfect post ski. Nothing! We had such an amazing week!
• Reem (8/5): i was with a big family and there is 3 floors we didn’t use the last floor whic we find it little scary and 2 bathroom 3 - it was very nice area so close to 2 supermarkets , the outdoor was vey nice. it only have 2 bathrooms and the kitchen is upstairs while the living room is in the first level which was difficult they should be close to each other
