• Nicole (10/5): 7 Tage Urlaub - Besonders gefallen hat uns die Dachterrasse und die ruhige Lage. Man hat genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten als Familie mit größeren Kindern - ein Traum. Die Wohnung geht über 3 Etagen plus Dachterrasse.

• David (9/5): Location très bien située et bien équipée pour passer un super séjour à Venise. - Situation geographique ideal pour visiter venise. Proche d’un arrêt de Vaporetto et de la place saint Marco. Le ramassage des ordures est journalier et la proximité de l’arrêt permet un passage au alentours de 9h00, pratique pour ne pas être bloqué le matin pour partir faire les visites et pratique le jour du départ pour vider toutes les poubelles. À côté de l’église, réveille tous les matins à 8h00 au son du clocher. Grosse différence de température entre la chambre du bas et la chambre du haut ne permettant pas de chauffer celle du bas sans qu’il fasse trop chaud en haut ( pas de panique, il y a une climatisation pour les fortes chaleurs). Un petit chauffage d’appoint ou la possibilité de couper le chauffage à l’étage uniquement serait un plus.

• Julian (5/5): Dirty apartment, not worth the price. - Apartment is in good localisation, about 20 minutes from San Marco and very close to vaporetto station. The apartment was old and dirty. There was a lot of dust everywhere, even in frequently used areas like the stairs and bathroom. Some frequently used items, such as the handrail, were sticky. We found old dirt in the cupboard where the kettle was. It's clear the owner doesn't pay attention to cleanliness. The Wi-Fi password is outdated, the information provided before arrival was incomplete, the clock on the wall doesn't work, and there's no bread knife in the kitchen, making the apartment less comfortable. Instead of a wardrobe, there was a collection of random hangers. The apartment consists of three floors connected by steep stairs. Air conditioning is only available on the first and third floors. On the first floor, near the bedrooms, there's a large, noisy air conditioner that interferes with sleep. On the second floor, where the kitchen and living room are, there's no air conditioning. You can hear all the noise from the street in the apartment.

• Anna (10/5): We would definitely book this flat again! - The apartment was large, homely, comfortable, well set out across 3 floors and an amazing roof terrace. It’s well stocked with everything you need, including a coffee machine with capsules. Such a nice touch. It’s in a great location in the historical centre but in a quiet street, close to a couple of vaporetto stops. Luisa was really helpful and kind - great communication. Nothing - we loved it!
• Jaclyn (8/5): Lovely house in a great location. - Excellent location, perfect for getting around key sites. Hosts extremely helpful and responsive. The property was clean and spacious, well maintained. Air conditioning - I appreciate this is an old property so not easy to solve but the AC was limited. The top floor had built in unit which was great, the bedroom on the first floor was a portable unit which worked very well at cooling, however meant keeping a window open for the vent pipe and we’ve lost count of the mosquito bites we got between us. It was also too noisy for at night when sleeping. We went in August so would be a seasonal problem.
• Rukhsana (8/5): Wonderful short and central stay in Venice - The locations is great as it is very central, yet quiet and with immediate access to the St. Samuel vaporetto stop and easy walking distance with luggage to Sant Angelo Alilaguna stop. Owner Luisa was very easy to contact and very quick to respond and was also in touch with us during our visit. The accommodation is very clean and characterful as it extends over 5 storeys from the entrance on the quiet street to the terrace overlooking the rooftops.
• Cm (8/5): Very convenient location with lovely balcony to chill out on with wonderful musical accompaniment! - Balcony was a lovely addition to the property. Loved all the original features & a great location. The communication from the hosts regarding how to access the location was superb. Good communication from Luisa during our stay to confirm all was in order. Unfortunately there was an illness so check in was delayed, and there was a bit of confusion in communicating the changes. Notification that communication of any changes would be via WhatsApp would have been beneficial. Only disappointment was the size & quality of the towels and the water pressure in the shower.

• Keith (9/5): Superb - Easy exchange of keys after a wonderful boat-taxi ride from the airport into Venice. We were greeted in Italian and my basic grasp of the language helped us understand what was being communicated. I guess switching to English would have been possible but it gave the whole experience an air of authenticity. Location is fantastic, central but quiet and just a few steps from the San Samuele vaporetto stop and close to all the sights around San Marco Piazza and Rialto. The accommodation is split over three floors making it tricky for anyone with compromised mobility. The rooftop terrace gave us some unforgettable moments, with the church bells tolling all around us one morning and some lovely sunsets visible between the spires. Locally, Trattoria da Fiore (3 minutes walk) is well worth a stop off for some cicchetti and a glass of wine or spritz but plenty of great places to eat and drink within walking distance. We were particularly taken by the Cannaregio area, the old Jewish ghetto in the north of the city. A nice walk on a warm sunny day with a stop or two for coffee and well worth the trip. So much more tranquil than the bustle of San Marco with some really cool places to eat along one of the three parallel canals.

• Leah (10/5): A beautiful property in a perfect location, with gracious hosts. We couldn't ask for more. - Even before our arrival, the hosts, Antonio and Luisa were friendly and responsive to all of our questions. We were able to check in on time, and enjoyed a delicious lunch at one of restaurants within a couple of minutes of the property. The property was spacious, beautifully decorated, and in the perfect location - quiet, but so close to everything! We loved the canal access just 30 seconds away, the view from the rooftop deck, and the beautiful neighbourhood piazza just full of cafes where you could enjoy an Aperol Spritz in the evenings before dinner. Many thanks, Antonio and Luisa. Your place truly felt like home. Absolutely nothing. It was perfect.

• Charles (10/5): A delightful and spacious house on 3 floors with a roof terrace in a great location. - This is a delightful and charming house on 3 floors with a roof terrace. A fantastic and quiet location. It is a short walk from the Academia and St Mark's Square. Considering this is Venice, this house is spacious. It was really comfortable. The terrace on the top is the icing on the cake and easy to access. The kitchen was well equipped, and the host kindly left nice coffee capsules and a breakfast for the first day. The host could not have been more helpful. I needed to shorten my stay from a week to 4 nights, and the host was incredibly helpful. Booking.com website would not allow me to do this without cancelling the original booking and re-booking at the risk of losing it. The host carried out the process of changing the dates for me. The host communicated excellently about the check in and check out process and was there to assist on any queries. A new recycling policy is in place for Venice. It is complicated but exactly the right thing to do. Guests need to follow these rules and this has to be quite right. I definitely would come back on my next visit. There is no air conditioning in the first floor bedroom. There is a fan but in hot weather this meant that the 1st floor bedroom was uncomfortably hot at night. A small point but the towels are rather hard and rough.

Very spacious and comfortable. Stunning roof terrace for morning coffee or evening drinks. Brilliant hosts! Close to everything you need in Venice.

• Rebecca (8/5): Perfect apartment to explore Venice. - The location is so central to walk everywhere, or to catch a waterbus. The roof Terrance was a real plus, couldn't see a lot apart from roofs, but it was a great space to sit and relax in the sun. Being charged €20 for a later check in, when we were told the key would be in the key safe. We did have a very nice man meet us from the waterbus and take us to the apartment, which did make it very easy. But we could have made it there ourselves.
• Jane (10/5): Fabulous stay in Venice - We were staying in the apartment as a family (4 of us). The photographs do not do it justice, it is very spacious, very clean and has everything you would need: excellent kitchen items including a lovely welcome pack of biscuits, jams, crackers. There was washing up liquid, coffee, sugar, olive oil etc. Lots of towels, very comfy beds and a great heating system. The terrace is beautiful with nice furniture, we had breakfast and evening drinks as we watched the boats on the canal. The hosts were very responsive and extremely helpful. The apartment is situated within easy walking distance of all the sights but was very quiet during the night. I would highly recommend this apartment. There was not anything I did not like.
• Graham (10/5): The hosts are very interactive and helpful - they even managed to give us the best weather possible - The property is typically Venetian (so expect stairs!) and has been modernised but kept it's character. It's position, as far as we are concerned was perfect. It is roughly equidistant from St Mark's Square, Rialto and academia (all within half a mile). It is close to two Vaporetto stops - Sant' Angelo 350m and San Samuele 50m! Although not claimed in the description you can actually see the Grand Canal from the lovelly little terrace. The kitchen/dinet is a little cramped but we didn't spend much time there. The access to the terrace is tricky but worthwhile.

• Sarah (9/5): Fabulous time and key location - It was a fabulous location and very spacious. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to talk with. More toilet paper, no laundry liquid for clothes and almost no hand soap.
