Guest Reviews
- Melnicka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arjan (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasios (7/5): A pleasant stay - The location of the establishment is excelelnt, 1 minute from the Toledo station. The room was comfortable, had AC and a good WiFi. The host was very kind and helpfull It whould be nice for the room to had a window. Also the bathroom's ceiling was short for me and it had traces of mold. This should be taken care of in my opinion.
- Danica (1/5): Bad - Location Room without windows, ceiling is to low , we didn't have natural light in our rom
- Gerstner (5/5): You get what you pay for. - Excellent location No window in the room. Aircon is extremely loud and without it on the room becomes unbearably hot.
- Tlinh (1/5): We booked this accomodation for 5 nights during our June stay in Naples. It was hot even during the nights so we were gl - Location No window inside the room. Balcony you see on the pictures is in the hallway that is shared with the owner of the apartment. Small bathroom with very low ceilings. Mold!
- Kristen (3/5): Poor - Great location Sent several messages prior, asking about parking with no response. When we did get a response, we were told not to message in English as the host couldn't understand or translate. When we arrived, we called and was told there was no parking onsite or nearby and were not given directions to find any. Independently, we found a place around a kilometre away and 3 times the price mentioned at the nearby location. We asked to speak to the host as we needed assistance with the room during our stay, and we sent messages with no response. Also, it was the most uncomfortable bed with my husband and I managing little to no sleep!
- Nadja (8/5): Very good -
- Yam (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fine, the owner is great. The location is great, everything was close The only problem that the air conditioner was too loud to leave it working during the night
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Catalin (1/5): I don’t recommend it to anybody, even to my enemies. - Location is the only thing that is good on this one. The room is not very big and doesn’t have natural light or windows at all. There is no hallway like in the picture and no balcony.
Pro: Just the Location of the Building
Cons:
- The room doesn’t have windows and proper ventilation. In summer days is very hot in there. In bathroom there is small space, specially in the shower if you have at least 1.80 you will not have enough space.
- Air conditioning is not normal one and is not strong enough. You will still have 30 degrees overnight with the AC On.
- When you seat on the toilet you sweat and can look on the window that leads on the stairs from entrance.
- Bed sheets are poor and very old, probably same age like yours. :D
- The balcony from the pictures presented is not fully yours, you share it with the host who lives next to you.
- The Internet will not be available all the time, you have to ask for it.
- You came hear everything through doors and walls and you can be heard too, so don’t be noise :D
- If you’re lucky you can hear the vacuum cleaner, but not in your room, in 1 week there is no cleaning or changing of anything. You have to ask for towels, but better bring yours. Those from host are old too and used and over used.
- Also, keep in mind that the mattress and pillows are very old and uncomfortable.
- Please note: Because you don’t have access to a windows, you will not have fresh air.
- Shaneece (7/5): Good - it was clean and quite spacious, a perfect location in town. it gets very hot at night, and the air con is quite loud
- Sezm88 (6/5): 3 night stay. - Location There is no window in the room, and steep stairs with a suitcase.
- Monika (3/5): Poor - In the offer of this room you can see a balcony. In real there is even no window in the room - which is a total surprise, because it is not mentioned in the offer. Only because we arrived late and only for 1 night we could accept this room. In other situation we would not accept this.
- Tracey (8/5): Mel8ssa A Toledo in Napoli - The room was spacious, secure and in an excellent location.
A good hairdryer the room.
Good Air - Con...and a fridge.
Large comfy bed. The shower had lovely warm water but was in a tight space - no good if you are on the larger size or tall!.
Also they only provide 2 towelling bath robes and hand towels only!..so no BIG towel to get dry with.
No window in the room - the balcony advertised is on the corridor.
- Pallav (5/5): not recommended - we came to apartment a day before to ask landlady if it’s okay that we might be late (till 22:00) for the check in and she mentioned that it’s okay. On the booking day we reached at the apartment around 21:00 but landlady asked us to leave and come back at 22:00 because the room is not ready. We had to go back and spend 1 hour.
it doesn’t mention anywhere that it’s on 2nd floor with poor structured stairs and the landlady lives on the same apartment.
it’s a false advertisement for people who looks at the ratings before booking.
- Dan (10/5): 3 night in the middle of Napoli - Literally next to the Toledo metro station and in the middle of everything happening in Napoli. You cannot beat this location. You get what you pay for! You get everything you need for a couple of days in Napoli.
- Nicola (5/5): Very central for amenities, but not the best place if you want to chill out and watch the world go by! - very central to everywhere, close to bars and restaurants and shops and the Metro. accommodation description is very different from what you get! There is no window in the room and makes it feel cell like, you’ve know idea if it’s day or night in there. The balcony is in the corridor not from the room. There is no kettle (or minibar!) as stated. Noise from upstairs is every night, very late! We got told to leave at 11am, even though checkout says 12!! would definitely not stay here in spring/summer.
- Khurram (7/5): Good - cleanliness The bathroom area was very small and no one can easily take a bath
- Martina (9/5): Superb - Nice atmosphere, good facilities and clean. The location is good but it’s a little noisy. There wasn’t a table with chairs on the terrace
- Bozena (10/5): love it z - very nice person to communicate, excellent
location, clean and comfortable, we will definitely comeback
and highly recommend. everything was excellent
- Deathbychocolatedp (6/5): Good for exploring the city - The room is clean and very well located - right in the Spanish Quarter. And you can reach most of the important tourist spots within Naples by walking.
A good and inexpensive choice of a room if you want to spend most of your time outside exploring the city and only need a room to sleep. Unfortunately communication with the host proved almost impossible due to language barriers. Furthermore, there were some discrepancies between the description on booking.com and the actual service provided, like e.g. we asked for our baggage to be stored on the last day of our stay because our flight was in the evening (baggage storage was explicitly mentioned as an available service in the booking.com description). My first call was hung up. And when I asked over the booking.com messaging system, I got "Google for baggage storage service in the vicinity" as a reply. Not exactly the kind of service I was expecting.
The room was clean but awkwardly cut. There is no window in the room, the bathroom has a tiny window above the floor that opens to the staircase (wave at the neighbors while sitting on the loo!). The balcony is nice, though the street is very loud in the evening. The air conditioner was very loud, too. So much so that it was nigh impossible to sleep with it running. The temperature of the shower was constantly changing between too hot and too cold. Also the keys to the front door and the apartment door were difficult to handle and each usually required a few minutes of shaking and fumbling about (and swearing - especially when you urgently need the bathroom) until they would turn inside the lock.
Otherwise the room served us well, since we didn't spend much time there anyways. There is a TV, but we didn't use it. The wifi was working. The fridge is tiny, and the ice box inside wasn't cold enough to keep our ice cream frozen, but melted ice cream still tastes good, so whatever. The interior decoration seemed overly lavish for my taste, but my 8 yo daughter loved it, so I consider it a plus.
