- Maria (10/5): - Sehr schöne, charmante Unterkunft, sehr ruhig aber mitten in Trastevere, sehr zu empfehlen!
- Lynn (10/5): Quiet stay in a convenient location - The location in Trastevere is very convenient for walking across the river and visiting the Roman ruins. It is a tourist as well as a residential area. This place is on a quiet safe street yet close to all the restaurants and attractions. Host was very flexible with meeting us. Ground floor apartment was very convenient for suitcases. Bonus: three lovely old well-fed cats that are around to pet.
- Olatz (7/5): Buena estancia - Ubicación. Almohada muy incomoda y al ser una planta 0, hay mucho ruido.
- Sean (10/5): - Super trevligt!
- Esther (8/5): Perfect location, great bed and facilities- bathroom could get an upgrade! - It’s located in the centre of trastevere, right around the corner of restaurants and cafes. Also the bed was very big and comfortable and the kitchen was very well supplied. Contact with the responsible person was easy through whatsapp, check-in with a key box. It’s near the street so you do hear everything from outside. Also the bathroom is moldy and could use an upgrade, especially the showercabin and a proper clean of the tiles. This probably happens because the space doesn’t get any sun and stays (during colder months) a bit damp. And seeing the other reviews I would recommend the responsible person to not react so rude if people make a suggestion or complain, it’s not so nice if this is how is communicated.
- Anna (10/5): Perfect location - I had a wonderful stay at Il Leopardo (Trastevere)! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Trastevere, which made exploring Rome very easy. Luca was an amazing host – very kind, welcoming, and always helpful.
The place was easy to find, the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and nicely designed. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place! Non
- Cipuri (10/5): Great place! - Very good location. We enjoyed our stay. A small feedback would be to have a shampoo holder in the shower. Minor thing though.
Não tive problemas em fazer o check in e check out.

- Maurizio (10/5): Lovely apartment in a lovely location ! - Lovely studio in a lovely location ! Will get back !
- Maurizio (10/5): What a pleasant stay! - Amazing studio
- Valeria (4/5): Great area, not great stay - The studio apartment is in a great spot — right in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and easy access to the center of Rome. The bathroom had mold in the vent and rust on several fixtures. The unit is located right next to the building’s main entrance, so you can hear everyone coming and going at all hours, which made it hard to relax or sleep.
Communication with the host was also frustrating. He wasn’t receptive to questions or feedback, and his responses came off as dismissive or condescending. We tried asking for more restaurant recommendations after being sent a single suggestion that didn’t appeal to us, but instead of offering alternatives, he simply resent the same place with a rude tone.
I understand this isn’t a luxury stay, but even at this price point, basic cleanliness and respectful communication should be expected. Other guests have mentioned similar concerns in the past, and instead of improving the experience, the host tends to respond defensively at the feedback. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I suggest booking elsewhere if you’re looking for a more welcoming and comfortable stay.
- Comite (9/5): Superb -
- Raluca (8/5): Very good - Good location, comfortable bed and pillows, nicely decorated, clean, good quality water closet and bidet, nice mirror in the bathroom. The boiler is 80 litres in volume, yet after less than 5 minutes of shower the water was cold and I'm really not the type who'd spend too much water or time with the shower.
The shower cabin looks rusted, especially on the outside.
- Anne (8/5): Very good - The location of apartment is very good to see all sights. Check in was good too The frosted window bothered me as I like to look out and it made apartment dark. Light needs to be on during day.
The bathroom isn’t great … needs a complete makeover.
- Crystal (8/5): Great value in cute quite neighborhood. - Location was excellent and quiet. Staff friendly and accommodating. Cute decoration. AC worked great! Great restaurants close by. Beds were not very comfortable. The large beds was too hard for our tastes and the flat bottom sheet on the bed did not cover the mattress all the way to sufficiently tuck around the mattress and stay in place. It came off under us while sleeping each night. The fold couch, even with the topper, you could feel the bar and split in the center.
- Simon (9/5): really enjoyed stay - all good
- Victor (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed staying in Trastevere neighborhood, the loft was on a pretty and really quiet street, so we were able to enjoy walking to restaurants and nice places, and be able to sleep really well. Nothing related to our stay, only consider that if you arrive by bus, you will have to carry your luggage over cobbled streets.
- Niamh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christiaan (8/5): Great place for a quick weekend get away, great value for money. - The location is great, you can discover the city by foot. In addition cool cafes and restaurants are located just seconds from your doorstep. The bed is fine, the bathroom is a bit small and tired.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Highly recommended for great area full of bars and restaurants. Within walking distance of the major sights. - Perfect location in lively Trastevere. Only tiny fault was the pillows, just one thin and one thick for two people.
- Christian (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Pretty little apartment in one of the best streets in the best location in Rome! - Great location, authentic pretty little street, very comfortable bed and kitchen well equipped. Apartment very clean and host very helpful. Sofa bed not very comfortable for adult but fine for child. Due to the ground floor location the heavy front door to the apartments being open and closed late at night and early morning was noisy so earplugs would be helpful :)
- Aidan (6/5): A great location and a good room. Noisy hallway though. - The accommodation is in a fantastic location with plenty of restaurants just around the corner. It was a beautiful area to stay in!
The room was good and it was nice to have a couch and table sit at. The Netflix included was nice! The floor in the room didn’t feel very clean (our socks would go brown if we walked without footwear).
The room was right next to the front door of the building and you can hear every time someone comes in. This was really frustrating when people kept coming after midnight and at 3 and 4am.
- Michael (9/5): 11 days in Trastevere were comfortable and a pleasant place to return to in the evening. - Spacious, very nicely decorated room in quiet street. Nothing wrong, but not clear what to do with rubbish on departure.
- Alix (10/5): Lovely room in a perfect location! - The location was perfect - within the bustling Trastevere with loads of interesting food and drink places in easy walking distance, but just far enough from the main streets to feel quiet and peaceful. Lovely room with a comfy bed. The host sent us a very useful and clear check-in video for how to collect the keys (as we were checking in very late) and the basics of the apartment.
- Natalia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marina (10/5): Everything was excellent, if we are in Rome again, we will definitely be back!! -
- Galina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sundeep (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Luca was super responsive and clear. The apartment is darling and perfectly situated on a beautiful quiet street off the main drags of Trastevere (which are flooded with tourists, FYI). There are also 4 or 5 kitties that live on the street who we really enjoyed (: The bathroom was a bit damp and humid and we weren't sure why, but it wasn't really a problem and Luca is checking it out. Also not a problem, but worth noting that the flat is on the ground floor.
- Pamela (10/5): Fabulous - The location and the style of the house ( the attention to details from the smell of the house, to the decoration, and lastly the location) We could use more towels considering we were staying 5 days
- Monica (10/5): Short, easy walk to all our favorite shops and restaurants in Trastevere. Ground floor! - Perfect location in Trastevere neighborhood, ground floor unit, easy access to apartment, easy access to wifi, clear instructions and great communication. One room with bathroom, queen/double bed with nightstand on each side, couch, small kitchen table with 2 chairs and shelfing unit next to bathroom for storing clothe toiletries, or other lightweight items. Supplied soap/shampoo in bathroom and paper towels, coffee and sugar in kitchen. There is room under the windows to store luggage out of the way. Clean! Can't think of anything!
- Lynda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (10/5): This apartment is perfect for a stay in Rome. the neighborhood is awesome and all the best tourist attractions are withi - Perfect lodging in a great location. I liked everything.
- Serge (10/5): Great stay in il leopardo - The location is great, many places to eat around, have gelato, apéritif etc. But the street itself is quiet. Also possible to go to lots of the main sights (coliseum, vatican, Trevi fountain, pantheon etc) on foot (~30 min more or less).
The place itself is as advertised, well equipped, clean, comfortable bed... the netflix and prime service is a nice bonus.
The host gave us very clear explainations on the place and we were able to self-check late at night. Really nothing much to dislike. The only negative note is that the building entrance door just slams shut with a loud noise after entering/going out and the appartement is near the entrance. There are not that many people and it didn't happen much deep in the night but it did slam a few time when we were trying to sleep after 10pm (but not much after midnight). Just take earplugs.
- Maurizio (10/5): cozy , stylish and great hot air conditioning! - warm, cozy, great hot air conditioning, super comfy bed, top location and kind host! Will be back!
- Annemarie (7/5): Good - Great location and very well organized host! Some stuff was not clean (bed was not clean and towel with hair) and the room is marketed perfectly well with the decoration that is visible on the pictures but the reality is of course somewhat different. Also the sofa bed is not recommended for more than two nights.
- Neeti (10/5): Exceptional -
