Guest Reviews
- Kexin (10/5): Fantastic experience in Rome - This is my best experience in Rome. Paola is a very nice lady, when we live in, she explained everything in detail like 20 mins, let me don’t have questions when I live there. And when I meet situation, she even reply me at midnight, which is very very responsible. Her daughter is also very friendly and kind.
For the apartment, it’s a very spacious and clean house, even it’s an ancient building, everything is new.
If you ask me to come back travel in London again, I would like to choose Paola’s house again. Very recommend it! N/A
- Beverly (7/5): Disappointing kitchen - The lounge room was good as was the location. The kitchen was very disappointing. There was nowhere to put anything. The bathroom was awkward, the shower water had to be on a high flow to get hot water but then it was uncomfortable and the hand held nozzle was not at a convenient height. The toilet paper had to be placed on the floor for access. The photographs of the kitchen area were inaccurate.
- Maria Angeles (9/5): Ideal para pasar unos dias en la Ciudad Eterna. Muy centrico - La ubicación y el trato con la anfitriona. Paola fue super amable.
- Yvonne (9/5): Lovely accommodation in a great location - The location of the property was excellent. So close to shops, restaurants and attractions. The beds were super comfy and we had all we needed apart from an iron and an ironing board.
Host was lovely and warm and willing to do whatever knee was needed to make us stay comfortable. Nothing

- Sarah (8/5): Brilliant location, lovely apartment - Beautiful property within walking distance of many attractions, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. It had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was that you could hear the upstairs neighbours walking around and making noise at nighttime. Also it was quite cold when we stayed so would have appreciated a duvet rather than thin sheets and blankets.
- Leroux (10/5): - De locatie, het prachtige oude gebouw. Zeer stijlvol ingericht, je voelt jezelf enkele eeuwen teruggaan in de tijd. Prima bedden met uitstekende matrassen. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Aangename buurt, door ligging achteraan totaal geen straatlawaai te horen. Goed uitgeruste badkamer met perfect werkende moderne douche. Zeer proper tot in alle hoekjes. Een grote aanrader!
- Kathy (6/5): Great location but I wouldn’t stay here again. - The air conditioning was great, which was a huge relief as it was so hot when we arrived. The location was excellent and was close to everything. The apartment was dark. We were disappointed because the photos looked so much better. Outside the apartment door there are garbage cans for the building and the smell was very bad, and the noise from people using this area was very loud. The window to the courtyard was not completely sealed, so we got eaten alive by mosquitoes and the little courtyard itself was unkept and unsightly.
- Kate (8/5): Lovely stay in a very historical apartment and area. Very roomy with all that you need for a family of 3. - Great location, host was lovely with terrific English, had all we needed. The bed and pillows were hard and flat for me but that may be down to individual preference.
- Claire (8/5): It was great for a short stay. - Local was great and it was nice to have some space.
- Emma (8/5): Little gem in the heart of everything - Great spot, easy to walk everywhere and the host was really helpful and accomodating. The bed was comfortable and it was clean and easy to find with the clear instructions. It’s a little dark and musty, but once the air conditioner is going it’s not so bad. We were only there to sleep too.

- Nadjolinii (10/5): - Wonderful place, very close to Colosseum and great restaurants close to it!
The host was so kind, our flight was delayed and we came pretty late, but she was very welcoming and showed us everything around the apartment + gave good recommendations for food places :)
Would stay here again!
- José Antonio (8/5): -
- Lesley (9/5): Great family stay! - Wonderful
Location on a quiet residential street. Host was so helpful and kind and available for questions. Apartment had everything we needed and was near great restaurants and grocery shops. Close to metro and only ~15 min walk to colosseum!
- Jennifer (10/5): Roma Paradise - If you're planning a trip to Rome you cannot go wrong staying here! A great location, comfortable home and Paola and her daughter are amazing! The lock on the door is a little finicky but one you get the hang of it, it's no big deal.
- Inessa (10/5): I truly recommend Paula and here amazing apartment for your travel in Rome, perfect location to discover the city, to re - Perfect location, amazing authentic apartment and fantastic Paula ❤️ Everything was great!
- John (9/5): Superb - Central to the sites, great atmosphere and decore, quiet street. The space around the toilet
- Elise (8/5): Good base for 3 days in Rome - Location is very practical, 10min from the collosseum or Termini station, and walking distance to the historic center too without being in the middle of the crowds. Quiet, clean.
Beds are very confortable, and everything works as it should. The apartment is a bit dark but I guess we spent all of our time outside so it doesn't matter much. Important to open the only 2 windows for fresh air as it's on the ground floor and can feel a bit stuffy.
- Dale (10/5): Perfect! - The apartment had everything we needed and the location is perfect. A short walk to the train station and coliseum. Our host Paola was lovely and gave us heaps of information to make the most of our stay in Rome.
- Sarah (10/5): Historic wonderful apartment just a 10 minute walk to the Colluseum. Paola the host is lovely and welcoming. We will def - Traditional apartment steeped in history and a fantastic location.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - Comfortable apartment, well equipped, clean, good location, great shower, great A/C Some musty smell at the beginning that passed after turning on the air conditioning.
- Tracy (10/5): Fabulous renaissance apartment with all the modern amenities, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the center of Rome. - Amazing 1500s apartment. Very quiet street, yet close to everything. Perfect for the 3 of us. Hot shower massage, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, gas range, microwave, espresso machine and tea kettle. The owner was so lovely, explained how everything worked and offered recommendations for nearby authentic Roman fare. We had a wonderful time in Rome.
- Pranav (10/5): Bellisimo - Homely and the wonderful host Paola was so incredibly welcoming and kind and very informative
- Matiasanchez (10/5): Really nice, recenlty refurbished and well located apartment! - Owner was waiting for us to hand us the keys. She explained us everything very kindly and thoroughly. Se even left coffee pods for our stay!
Apartment is freshly renewed. The neighborhood might be a bit noisy some times, but I guess that Rome is loud everywehere.
- Peter (5/5): Great apart from the shower - Location was perfect for central Rome and Rome Termini station. Paola was very helpful and was able to be flexible on our check out time which was much appreciated The only issue was a shower that was virtually useless. No power and no control over temperature. Scalding hot or cold. Sorry but for me this is a massively important thing which caused my rating to be what it was
- James (8/5): Our stay was very enjoyable and the apartment met our expectations. - We liked the location which proved to be close to eating areas, public transportation, and shopping. We appreciated the host meeting us with the key and explaining everything about the apartment. She was very helpful and friendly. She also helped us set up an early morning taxi to the airport. The apartment comes with everything you would need for a short stay. The shower curtain needs fixing. It didn't fit the bathtub. For older adults, taking a shower in the bathroom is a risky venture for potential slips when getting in and out of the bathtub.
- Clayton (9/5): pleasant place to stay comfortably in Rome - Location is excellent and close to public transports. It is very well equipped with appliances. The shower had little water, but it was sufficient.
- Steven (8/5): Great location and characterful apartment. -
- Kellan (10/5): Exceptional - All of it, beautiful room and awesome location
