Guest Reviews

- Super lokalizacja

- Bianca M. (10/5): Great location in Trastevere! - Location was perfect! This is my third time in Rome, and this is by far my favorite location. It was really close to all the good restaurants my husband and I wanted to try. It was also a few mins walk to the bus stop for visiting the major sites.
Luca was also very helpful. Instructions were very easy to follow, plus he gave us good suggestions where to eat. Nothing.
- Cecilia (10/5): Hermoso lugar! - Habia olor a humedad, pero imagino que no es por apartamento, sino por el tiempo de construcción historica.
- Charles (10/5): - Super emplacement. Logement nickel. Hôte très accueillant.

- Mariana (8/5): - Localização e simpatia do host Muita humidade e cheiro a canos
- Tuba Nur (9/5): Güvenli - Banyo, mutfak, yatak odası ve konumu çok iyiydi. Yatak odasının havasız olması ve yatak çarşaflarının daha kullanışlı olması iyi olabilir.

- Athina (10/5): I would stay in the apartment again in the future because of the location and the kindness of the host and the cleanline - I liked the location, the cleanliness and the hospitality of the host It had kind of a humidity smell but after opening the windows it was okay!
- Paula (8/5): Very good place. Convenient location. Good value. - Very good location, nice apartment well put together, comfortable and clean. Host very helpful and kind. The apartment has an intense smell of humidity that needs to be solved.
Cleaning staff came 30min before check out to heavily knock the door and accidentally locked me in when trying to enter to clean.
- Tracy (8/5): Fabulous location, very organised check in and everything you need was supplied. - Great location
- Milana (10/5): Great location with helpful host. - Location, charming helpful host, Luca, has an excellent command of English. Unlike a previous reviewer there was no malodor on the premises. Perfect 2 week stay in Trastevere. N/A
- Nicola (10/5): Wonderful few days in Rome - Location was fantastic with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Most of the main attractions are between 20-30 mins walk. Room was exactly like the pictures and bed very comfy. Luca was very helpful and kept in contact with us. Had a wonderful stay definitely be back
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Lovely little apartment in the heart of Trastevere. There’s everything nearby , restaurants and bars and great vibe. Honestly top location.
The apartment was clean and convenient. The host was responsive , friendly and helpful , I definitely recommend it for a weekend away :)
- Jennifer (7/5): Great location, cozy but... - The apartment is very cute, cozy and well decorated. The bed was suuuuper confortable. In addition, the location in Trastevere is great, close to many restaurants and bars. Not to mention the fact that the apartment was practically on the ground floor and had plenty of shade, so it was naturally cool. We hardly needed the air conditioning, even though we went to Rome in August. Oh, and a big plus for me is that there was already coffee and a mocha in the kitchen :D The apartment doesn't have much light or ventilation. There's only one “outside” window, which overlooks a kind of patio in the middle of the buildings. The hosts and photographer have done a great job in making it look brighter on the photos. But what really bothered us was the musty smell. No matter how many times we left the window open, the bathroom door open (we even left the bathroom exhaust fan on for a whole day), nothing helped the musty smell. I understand that it's difficult, perhaps impossible, to get rid of the smell, since the apartment doesn't have much light or ventilation. Some other comments mentioned this, but we didn't know if it was true as the host always refutes these comments and says it's a "fake review." My 2 cents: if you're not bothered by some musty smell and the low lighting, it's a great, comfortable and well-located apartment to stay.
- Amanda (3/5): I can’t recommend staying here due to the lack of cleanliness. - Property was in a good location and was centrally located in Trastevere The room was dirty and dark/dingy. The photos do a great job of making the room look bright and airy, but it isn’t. We felt the need to wear our shoes while inside the unit and didn’t feel clean during our stay due to the dust and dirt on the floors, how dirty the AC controller and outlet plugs were and the mold in the bathroom. I’ve attached photos showing the hair and dust on the floor and the mold on the ceiling in the shower.
- Maribelle (8/5): Very good -
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Korp (8/5): Cozy and nice neigbourhood. All the sights we wanted to see were close enough to walk (max 30 min) - Super easy. Host sent a video via WhatsApp with instructions.
- Maria (7/5): Good - Location
Easy check in Room has no natural light and it's also humid (it's on the ground level), there's also a smell coming from the bathroom
- Ita (9/5): Superb - Location is good for all the bars and restaurants which are around the corner, accommodation is still in a very quite area. It is walking distance to all the sights, some are a good walk away. The No. 8 tram will get you nearer the sights to save some of the walking. Room was very clean and comfortable. Suitcase rack or bench in the room was probably the only thing missing.
- Anonymous (3/5): Disappointment - The owner was very responsive via What’s App. The location was in an alley where drunk people go to urinate and defecate. There was feces at the front door upon entry. The owner cleaned this up promptly, however the entire outside location smelled of urine. It was also located directly next to wine bars and restaurants, with many intoxicated people around the building and front door, The interior of the property was much older than it looks in the photos. The hot water ran out after a 3 minute shower. The stay was not comfortable and we ended up leaving to another location after the first night.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Comfortable place to stay while on vacation. - We loved our stay at this property. It was quite spacious and comfortable. A great place to come relax after sightseeing. Probably the best air conditioner in all of Italy! We were there during August when it was super hot, but it stayed nice and cool inside. Check in and out was also very easy. Nothing, it was great!
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Gwenyth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Great property. Luca was very attentive and easy to deal with. The location was great - we were within walking distance of everything we needed to see/do.
- Daniel (10/5): Great place and would stay again for sure. Great value considering the location and relative price. - excellent location, comfy bed, within walking distance of all Rome’s major sights. Great restaurants nearby whilst being relatively quiet. Clean facilities, and overall a well cared for apartment. Should have more toilet roll available (or at least we couldn’t find any).
- Marc (10/5): great 3 days in the eternal city - le calme. super location. millions of coffee and restaurants none
- Veruska33 (9/5): A great location to explore the city of art! - The location is great and there room area is very good. Luca is always available and self check-in very easy! The hot water was not enough to have comfortable showers. We were stressed about it and there are no option.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A real little gem in my favourite city - Check in was very easy with the directions Luca sent us and overall he was a great host, easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was clean and well set up with a good size fridge, 2 ring hob and all we needed. The apartment was clean and cosy and easy to settle in to, we felt at home right away. Clean bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Comfy bed, good aircon for heating and cooling quickly and fast wifi connection. Good sized TV with Netflix set up for different languages. Location was perfect with local amenities and Rome sights all walking distance. Try the Long Island Café a few yards away for a cocktail or nightcap! The apartment is right in the hustle and bustle of Trastevere, but you close the door to the outside world and its lovely and peaceful. We stayed over the new year and had such an amazing time. We will definitely be back and a big thankyou to Luca, we are so glad to have found this property and such an accommodating host :) having to leave...
- Marcellodg (10/5): Exceptional - Warm, stylish, comfy and in a great location ! I will come back .
- Pablo (1/5): DO NOT STAY THERE - Property have mold in the walls and a horrible smell of humidity. Guess health is put at risk. We rented the apartment for 3 days and only stayed for 1 night.
- Andreas (9/5): Superb -
- Will (9/5): Sweet and very quiet apartment in a great location. - The location is superb, right next to Trastevere the "Greenwich Village of Rome" with innumerable restaurants, bars, cafes, gelateries and shops. It is also right next to the river and walking distance (if you like to walk) from most major tourist sites including Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Square, Capuchin Crypts, Vatican, Synagogue of Rome (just across the river), plus lots of bakeries and restaurants. We walked to all of the above and used our 7-day bus pass only for getting to and from the apartment.
The apartment is incredibly quiet and insulated from the nearby streets and traffic, it's like entering an unexpected oasis coming off the street. It was also very clean and setup nicely. It does have only one window but I think that's part of why it was so quiet.
Luca who owns the space was exceptionally responsive via WhatsApp both before and after our arrival. Paulo met us with the keys, explained things, and helped us when we had an issue getting the air conditioner adjusted properly. We barely used the kitchen but it was adequately equipped for light meals. That we couldn't stay longer? We did have a little trouble with the A/C which was blowing on us a bit at night but Paulo helped us get it sorted out.
