Guest Reviews
- ludovic (8/5): -
- Laurie (8/5): Loved the apartment! It had plenty of room fit 6 adults and was close to lots of restaurants and shopping - The apartment had three separate suites, one on each floor. The suites on first and second floor had a sitting area with a couch. The third floor had just a couple of chairs. All suites had its own bathroom and tv in the bedroom. The main floor has a kitchen but no living room area. It has a very nice outside sitting area.
The apartment is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The train station and bus station are only a 10 minute walk away and the water bus is a 5 minute walk. The mattresses are very hard. Could use replacing. It would be nice to have a tv in the sitting area so if you want to watch a bit of tv you don’t have to sit in the bedroom. Could use a few things in the kitchen like a toaster and tea towels etc. There are lots of stairs between the floors so not ideal if you have mobility problems. It was not a problem for our group but wanted to mention it. Would be nice to have a washing machine.
- Andrea (9/5): Sehr zu empfehlen - Super Lage, sehr ruhig, perfekte Abwicklung Waschbecken in der Wohnung im 3. Stock winzig

- Carmen (8/5): Great stay for a 6 day trip - The location is extremely important for us because we wanted to be at walking distance of the tourist spots without the colossal costs of staying and eating in those areas, so Cannaregio was perfect. We got the suite number 1 on the first floor, which i guess was the best out of the three there are. It was very clean and nice and we used the communal kitchen every day which is well equipped. We stayed for 5 nights. The hosts were helpful and nice and we had a great vacation. The downsides were normal for a historical building but they are worth mentioning in case you travel with a child or are more sensitive to these things. We traveled in February and despite the outside weather being rather warm (10C during the day, 6C during the night), the room was cold. The ac was functioning properly, but it wouldn’t have been enough alone. The hosts were very kind to leave us an electric heater. Secondly, you can hear everything, from what people are talking in the street (this is fine because it’s not a busy street), to the other guests in their rooms. While we stayed there the other guests were very polite.
- Zsuzsanna (10/5): It was perfect. - We stayed on the second floor. There is a bedroom, a linging room, and bathroom.
Bright and comfortable aparman, nicely furnished. Clean and warm. The heating worked properly. There was WiFi.
Coffee and tee in the shared kitchen on the ground floor. It was perfect. One small thing: finding the hole for the key that operates the electricity is a bit tricky in the evening when it is dark. (It can be the charm of the apartman. )
- Rafaela (9/5): Lovely and clean apartment. - My partner and I had the loveliest time in Venice. This place was so convenient, clean, and easy to access. The kitchen is a shared area, but it was a tidy space and I appreciated having some simple things on display such as spices, fairy liquid etc. It was helpful. The initial message from the hosts provides you all the information to arrive to Venice and the property. Suggestion: having a toaster and frying pan would be handy.
- Romain (9/5): Everything went very well! - Great location, friendly hosts, well-equipped kitchen with complementary coffee, tee etc., good heating systems Nothing to flag!
- Agne (4/5): Cold rooms, cold water, good location - The location is great. It was quiet but close to many sights by foot. The accomodation has much Venetian charm, including nice cieling and bedroom furniture. The accomodation was so cold, even with heating on it did not warm up enough. Heating in bathroom did not work. We traveled in November, would not recommend for winter travel.
Also there was no hot water for part of our stay.
There is a weird half-bath, which should include a toilet and sink, but only has a sink.
The pictures are missleading, the kitchen is shared even though in pictures it might look like it belongs to the unit.
- Ivan (10/5): amazing room - Beautiful room. with an amazing venetian style
very spacious and very good conditions as showed in the pictures. Also the kitchen was great it was facilited with all the necessary equipment to cook your own food or to have a nice coffee. I liked everything. nothing to complain
- Marco (9/5): Superb -
- Caleb (10/5): Amazing. Hidden gem. Value for money a++ - Hidden gem. Location is exceptional and value for money is fantastic. Very authentic experience felt like we were staying like a local. Easy to find and there is a boat dock 5 minutes from the entrance which is handy if you take a private taxi. You are also walking distance to the train station. Nothing.
- Melena (9/5): Superb - Great location, near some lovely shops & restaurants & very close to catch a ferry...lovely Clean spacious apartment...would definitely return.
- Marta (9/5): Superb - We only spent a couple nights and spent most of the time discovering Venice but the apartment was nice and just what we needed to rest. The staff were really nice and responsive. There's a shared kitchen that we only used before leaving to have a quick snack but seemed to have everything you needed to cook something quick.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Your home was “guilty “ that we have a really great days in the Venice. We will come back and we loved to be again here - Located is great. It has everything what is needed.quite and clean. It should be one more chair or comoda for take of clothes :) . Just idea:)
- Kendall (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about this property! It was exactly what we requested, with our own bed and room. The location is incredibly convenient, with everything we need nearby. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful, Venetian-style apartment—thank you for a wonderful experience! The only small challenge is that we prefer to drink warm water, so we often go downstairs to boil it since the kitchen is located there.
- Mark (9/5): great new quiet unit with very attentive owner - decent walk from the train station, very quiet side street, new unit and clean. owner was super helpful and wanted to make sure our stay went well. the light fixture in our room came off the wall, we could put it back on, texted the owner and he came the next day and gave us more chocolate (which was on our bed and even more in the kitchen). I think he mentions plans to do some upgrades. only complaint was this automatic light in the short hallway (right when you walk in) that comes on by motion sensor, and is VERY bright, so when I'd go from our bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it's way too bright (and tends to wake you up). Not an issue for my wife you doesn't get up to pee in the middle of the night. Would have liked a fridge in the room, but maybe the large fridge downstairs (that we discovered by accident) with water and space to put groceries or leftovers (one shelf per each of three units) was better, dunno. Apart from the place, Venice is okay, we aren't into gondola rides, but museums and actually saw this super cool interactive art exhibit in the Museo Correr that probably less than 1% of visitors saw. Not enough time to hit everything (two nights only needed to get to northern Italy). Would stay here again when we come back.
- Kaylie (10/5): Fantastic host, very willing to help and quick to answer - Well located, good facilities, clean
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Great location Needed proper curtains!
- Juliet (9/5): Fantastic location and great hosts. - The property was clean and excellently situated. Self check-in worked really well. We met one of the hosts, Luca, who was lovely. There is a shared kitchen - and free coffee and biscuits for breakfast. The property was a little bit difficult to find - tip: look up photos on Google Maps to help you locate it (it has a round arch doorway). Please note that the shower is currently in the living room beside the sofa, but we quickly got used to this.
- Yuki (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. The host is always available to help you. Would love to comeback again. Grazie.
- Caleb (9/5): Superb - Good location, a bit off the main street (so quieter) but just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
The bed and pillows were very good. The bathroom with the sink was a bit small (the size of a closet). The shower was separate in a different room. Not a big problem for us but something to consider if you care about that.
- Gurpreet (9/5): Nice place in a good location - It was clean and tidy. Location was great. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions.
- Linda (10/5): We really recommend this place! - We absolutely loved everything about the apartment! From day one it was one of the most wonderful stays and the owners were really welcoming and helpful with everything! We really owe them and this apartment a memory for life! We got nothing bad to say about it, at all!
- Kathryn (9/5): Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property - The host was great, really friendly. Well located and very comfortable The only negative was we couldn’t get hot water but forgot to tell the host so it could’ve been something we were doing
- Brooke (9/5): Thank you for a lovely stay and your helpfulness - Clean facilities, proximity to train station and other interesting places. Owners were very helpful and accommodating.
- Andy (10/5): Great location, wonderful place to visit! - Casa Vacanze Angolo 'Sconto was a great place to stay. It was so easy to get to with their instructions and easy to get around Venice from there. We loved visiting with the owners too. They helped make our first visit to Venice a wonderful experience!
- Viktorija (9/5): Excellent experience - I loved the apartment it was better than in the pictures, everything was clean, the location was excellent. The owner was welcoming and polite. Very good choice for the price. We where very sad when we had to leave Venice, especially because of the beautiful apartment.
The kitchen has a coffee machine, a fridge, dishes etc.-everything you could need. Definitely will come again when visiting Venice. The only thing was the air conditioning, it wasn’t anyone’s fault, because the air conditioning was freshly fixed. We had the apartment that was on the upper floor, so the temperature was probably higher than other apartments.
- Miikka (10/5): Nice place to stay! - Great location, nice private place, we had a great time. Host very responsive and caring. Kitchen was nice extra with coffee/tea and fridge to get your breakfast supplies from the nearby supermarket. If i think hard perhaps the beds were too firm to our liking, but still we has a pleasant stay! Thanks and see you next time! Beds were firm but ok
- Forlette (9/5): Superb -
- El (9/5): Superb - Excellent location ,the apartment was clean and nicely decorated , clear instructions from the host , we enjoyed our stay :)
- Morgan (7/5): Good - Nice location, quiet part of the city it seems. Easy directions from the host to find the building (thank you!). Spacious apartment, surprisingly quiet. Shared kitchen downstairs. No working air conditioning in our room when we were there. No insect screens on the windows (which no one has) meant we were either extremely hot, or being eaten by mosquitoes ..which was not pleasant. Firm bed, but that's been everywhere we've stayed in Italy.
- Margaret (1/5): Bad - The accommodation was good. I was contacted on day two of four night stay to say the apt below mine was flooded and the host had to let themselves into my accomodation to find the course of the water. It was said that the shower was left on and destroyed the apt below and that I would be responsible for the cost of repairs. On returning I found nothing amiss with no trace of any water damage or dampness. Nobody made contact again until the following morning with a video of water pouring through the ceiling, undated and without time signature. The apt below seemed to be occupied during the evening and the following evening. I made contact with booking.com to get their advice day one and responded to the video by saying I would call booking com again. No more contact with the host.
Observation: no windows open to dry apartment, no attendance of any repair crew, and no damaged items anywhere.
Basically it was an attempt to extract payment for a cooked-up incident. I can only assume, given the no contact access to the apartment, that the host has a camera system and assumed a rather 'vulnerable ' looking (finished chemotherapy a month previously) woman traveling alone would be an easy target.
The apartment was, most likely, flooded at some stage given the floor swelling in the sitting room and maybe the video is used on a regular basis.
Finally, I would request that booking.com be wise to the criminal behaviour of the host.
- Mathias (8/5): Okay accomodation - The self check-in
The decoration
Being able to let our lugage before check-in and after check-out in the kitchen The bed was not comfortable
The shower was in the middle of a room
There was a bump on the floor
- Stephanie (7/5): Disappointing Overall - Good location close to vaporetto stop. Handy kitchen. Clean room. Bed wasn't very comfortable and although temperatures in the mid 20's, there was no option to air out the room with air conditioning as it "wasn't on yet". When I text to ask, I found their response quite rude. Very noisy front door so woke when other guests closed the door. There's a lovely courtyard but used as an area to keep cleaning supplies but would be better used for guests. Didn't meet owners or manager, a brief encounter with the cleaner only, a pleasant lady. Overall, I found it impersonal and cold for the cost. Very disappointed.
- Dana (10/5): Wonderful location! The room was clean and pretty, we have enjoyed our stay :) - Wonderful location! The room was clean and pretty, we have enjoyed our stay :)
- Nekane (9/5): Superb -
- Hazel (8/5): Great find - The room space was quite large N/a
- Justin (9/5): Good space for the money. - Excellent location and good space inside. Great value for money. A little stuffy but with windows open it was good.
- Ettore (9/5): We had a great time in Venice and the affordability of this place made it that much better. I’ll be looking for this pro - The location is great and it has charm that matches the area. More hangers in the wardrobe would have been great.
- Cindy (9/5): Superb -
- Sanjay (9/5): Superb -
- Luissiane (7/5): Overall would not recommend - The location is great and room was clean. There was a lack of communication with the owner involving location (we were provided with an incorrect address) and with how the AC worked which added an unnecessary sleepless night as it was hot and overall stress to our trip.
- Marcus (8/5): Very good - The location is great. A quick description on how to find the place would be helpful. Google Maps does not know how to navigate there. But once you understand the general principle of house numbering in Venice it is easy.
- Clint (10/5): Lovely stay in a great location a perfect base to start and finish your day - Location was superb
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (7/5): Good - It was comfortable, clean and the area was nice and quiet We stayed for 4 days and they didn't change the towels, they didn't even give us any extra toilet paper
- Cipher (7/5): But really a nice and cozy place! I’d like to come again if I come to Venice in the future. - Location, close to street and bus station, but it’s quiet. Mosquitoes and sometimes no hot water😢
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good -
- Aniano (9/5): Good location, quiet and clean - Good location, clean place.
- Paula (6/5): Needs an upgrade - Location was good Very old and run down. Air conditioning was insufficient.
- Chetan (9/5): Superb - In the center really close to everything in Venice so if you wanna enjoy your Venice trip I do recommend booking this hotel.
- V (9/5): Good overall - The apartment was spacious, quite comfortable and in a great location The noisy air conditioner, the missing part of the ceiling, the fact that the stove was not working in the kitchen
- Tinko (8/5): Very good -
- Yuchen (4/5): Disappointing -
- Abina (8/5): Very good - Location The air conditioner is good for nothing and nights were blistering.
- Alsayadi (5/5): Misleading pictures. The kichen is shared. And do not book the blue room, the AC is very bad - Location is ok. But beware of the misleading pictures. The kitchen is sharef 1 - The pictures were misleading because we didcovered the kitchen is shared.
2 - The room AC was not cooling even when setting on max cooling conf. It was like a fan
3 - The wifi was not available for the first day.
4 - The boiler was dirty and stained.
- Sose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siew (9/5): Great location and spacious. Hosts communicated well. Totally worth it for first Venice visit! - This booking location is excellent, it wasn’t that hard to find at all, we were given very clear instructions and communication was always very easy. You can totally walk everywhere or just take the water bus which is a stone’s throw away. I also liked the common shared kitchen, we met the other travellers (from the other floors) and sometimes exchanged sightseeing tips!
The room is spacious. The motion-sensor lights at the entrance is a great touch for when we just get back. There is a small foldable table in the room with the couch if you want to eat in. I think it was very thoughtful. I don’t have any complaints!
- Ahnessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohit (9/5): Superb - the room was very specious, nicely decorated, clean.
- Sebastiaan (9/5): Good value for money - Good location, clean and convenient apartment, clear instructions from the host.
- Guillermo (9/5): Superb - Laura’s welcome and communication across the stay was great. location was perfect, and the apartment was clean and tidy. all you need was there there was a piece of ceiling that was missing under the A/C unit
- Elif (6/5): would be cleaner - the host is very good humoured and helpful Cleaning- During our stay for 5 nights, our room never cleaned.
Location- It’s nobody’s fault but if u decide to stay here, everyday u need to walk half an hour to the centre. cuz public transport is extremely expensive.
- Georgina (9/5): great - Fantastic location Could have used a handrail on the staircase, but overall it’s a great place to stay
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rivka (9/5): Superb -
- Vicky (9/5): Superb -
- Monica (9/5): great - was great 3rd floor not elevator
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - We loved how authentic this place was. The hosts were wonderful, and the stay was satisfactory. You will not regret staying here.
- Kaining (9/5): Apart from misunderstanding the key collection method, everything is perfect. - Cris was really nice when I called her directly for the check-in. I misunderstood the key collection method as I thought I had already updated my arrival time on Booking such that somebody would wait for me, but actually Cris sent me a message which I did not see notifying that I should call her when I arrive at the train or bus station, I went directly to the house and got blocked outside, fortunately, after calling Cris, she granted me the pass code for the main entrance so I can wait at the lobby, and she came to the lobby super fast and gave us a comprehensive and detailed introduction of everything.
- Barbara (9/5): Superb - Big comfortable bed, 1km to San Marino, everything was clean and the host was lovely. Shower in the living room was a little bit weird, but it was perfectly usable
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Beautiful location for a stay in Venice! - It was in a perfect location, we could explore everywhere we wanted by foot! Cris was so helpful, provided a map and recommendations and her phone number if we had any issues at all. The beds were not entirely comfy and it was quite sparsely decorated. It also could have been slightly cleaner but these things did not hinder our stay at all.
- Fioravanti (10/5): it was very comfortable . our hostess was most charming, hospitable and informative. - conveniently situated close to hub but in a quiet little square.
Good atmosphere and tastefully decorated it was all good.
