Guest Reviews
- Juli (9/5): -
Travi in legno, archi in mattoncini, pavimenti in cotto. Abbiamo riposato benissimo. I proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili a darci consigli e suggerimenti. Un posto da non perdere nulla

- Angela (10/5): The owners were totally awesome and went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. Loved it 💖 - In the heart of Trastevere this iconic Roman apartment was a gem! It has 3 levels and a courtyard, so plenty of space. It was a bit of a treat to have a jacuzzi 💖 Beds were also very comfortable.

Posto pazzesco nulla
- Malte (3/5): Not to recommend - Unfortunately, it's not like it looks in the pictures. For example, the pool is right behind the front door and not particularly inviting. It looks very dirty and rancid. The bathroom is right next to it, and when you take a shower, the bathroom inevitably floods because there is no proper curtain. I really don't understand how anyone could install something like this. The light switches and lighting were totally confusing, and it was impossible to turn on all the lights properly. Even though all the fixtures were clean, the entire accommodation, especially the bathroom and kitchen, looks very dingy because it is old and worn out. For the rate charged, it's really an insult.
- Matteo (10/5): Grazie, tornerò sicuramente - Appartamento curato nei minimi dettagli, molto pulito! La posizione è fantastica! Host gentile e collaborativo. Tutto perfetto
- Lia (1/5): -
- Sonja (5/5): Nope - Trastevere is the Place to be in Rome. In the evening, it’s a great starting point to explore the bars and restaurants – a young, trendy neighborhood. The Colosseum and the Vatican are both within a 30-minute walk. Patrick was nice and helped us out very fast when we had problems with hot water. Unfortunately, there’s a school just two houses down, and during the week schoolchildren gather right in front of the house, which means you can never sleep past 8 a.m. The accommodation itself was very dirty — every surface was sticky (Even the kitchen cupboards) and our socks turned black just from walking once from the room to the bathroom! The place is in need of renovation. We only stayed there to sleep; otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to stand it. The “mother” came by and was only interested in the money. I showed her the torn bed cover, and she just said “mh” — and that was it. We tried to touch as little as possible because it was really disgusting.
- Petr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrei (9/5): Superb -
- Floris (8/5): Very good - Good location. Quirky house. Cutlery was dirty.
- Mai (10/5): Great location and lovely property for trip to Rome - The property was in a great location, just a few minutes walk from restaurants in Trastevere, but away from all the noise. It is easy to walk to all attractions in Rome.
Even with six people in the property and the sofa being used as a bed there was still space to socialise at the dining table or the terrace.
Host was quick to respond to messages. We let them know what time we would be arriving and someone was there to let us in when we arrived.
Not perfect, but still a lovely place to stay for a short trip to Rome. The kitchen is small. Water does not stay contained to the shower area and does get the other parts of the bathroom wet. Dining area needs more light as it is quite dark.
- Steve (6/5): The location was fantastic, but the accomodation was very average and not inviting, the bathroom needed a complete revam - The location was excellent, it was let down by the facilities and the Harry Potter bedroom under the stairs Wasn’t very clean or finished, the bathroom was very average, the kitchen was very poorly equiped
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Location was great. The patio is great. Patrick was easy to communicate with and helpful. The architecture and layout is cool but quirky and may not be great for someone with mobility issues. The shower was difficult.
- Hayat (7/5): Perfect for not more than 3 persons - The location is excellent and the hosts are more than Nice and friendly, quickly to respond to any question you have I think this place is perfect when you are with not more than 3 persons. More than 3 I would not recommand it. The bathroom and kitchen are very small. We used the jacuzzi as our shower. 1 bedroom is practically not useable cause it has no Windows en despite airco too hot to sleep comfortable. And to no fault of anyone unfortunately lots of muscitos in the house, the children were all bitten and didnt want to stay in the house
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): excellent location, staff friendly, will recommend - location small bathroom
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): Patrick was a great host but due to issues we would not return. - We had breakfast on the lovely terrace each morning which was grand except for few details, the expresso pot had no handle so we had to use a towel to pour the coffee and there were very few wine glasses. Location is excellent and Patrick was very prompt at replying to our emails. The two big issues for us was the toilet was in the shower cubicle, the shower curtain didn't prevent the bathroom floor from becoming wet. We had to place towels on the floor to mop up the excess water. 4 people showering once or twice a day was a major issue!
Another issue was the stairs, whilst we knew the apartment was on different levels we didn't realise how steep the stairs were and also at some points had no handrail. This made things very challenging and to be honest prevented us from using the Terrace at night as after a glass or two of vino could be quite dangerous. I would say for anyone with mobility issue this would be a huge problem, we are quite fit but still found it difficult.
- Samoye (7/5): Good -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Desireé (8/5): Very good - Nice staff, large place and very nice terrass. A very small bathroom, the jacuzzi was an enigma, the light did not work so well.
- Nina (10/5): Great stay - We liked this apartment due to its originality, own terrace and great location in Trastevere. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. If you look for a spotless and polished apartment, this is not for you.
- Yzhechev (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (9/5): Very cool and quirky and unusual. Beautiful tetras - Air conditioning was not very strong
