• Steve (4/5): We have stayed at numerous short term rentals through the years, and the bed bugs was disappointing. - PROS: Really liked the location, very close to everything that the area had to offer. Quiet clean neighborhood. The pool was clean and refreshing, Air conditioning was very comfortable through out the whole house. CON 1: Finding bed bugs in 1 of the 3 bedrooms bed the morning after my son slept in it for the first time on the last night of our stay. We noticed some bites on his legs and arm and when we went to go make the bed there were live bed bugs crawling across the blanket and when I lifted the pillows and sheet there were about 10 that I could visibly see. We called the property manager so that she could see it for her self, so that it was an in person conversation about what was found and our disappointment. There was no mention of compensation, we were just told to stay out of that room. We did thoroughly check the other 2 bedrooms beds and linen and we didn't find any signs of bed bugs in either of those rooms. CON 2: Having to call the property manager when we got to the rental, so that she could come and drop off the keys after we gave her a $200.00 cash deposit, I have never had to do that before. We had to pay $40.00 dollars cash if we wanted to use the grill, there was also a separate charge if we wanted to use the laundry. We had a 1/2 of a roll of paper towels, so we had to go buy some, there was 1 trash bag with trash still in it for the 4 days that we were staying there, so again we had to go buy some. With the nickel and diming that we were experiencing we didn't cook anything there just in case there was a charge associated with using the stove, oven or microwave. The ice maker had been removed and condensation was coming in through the dispenser and freezing inside the freezer making a yellow looking ice. There were house rules posted on the refrigerator, that were not mentioned for the rental and the one that stood out was a $150.00 cash cleaning fee, so the $200.00 dollar cash deposit would be reduced to a $50.00 refund. I understand that there are cleaning fees with every rental, but that cost is always included with the fees when the reservation is made through a travel site.
• Heidycane (3/5): I would not stay here again - Location was great and the size of inside was spacious ! Host was nice but we were all on egg shells while we were there! The host was nice but I did not like to have to met up with her after it said there would be a lock box, There was an additional charge to use the barbecue (didn't) if laundry was need to be done we needed to have quarters , did not like feeling like I was in a laundry mat while on vacation. The washer and dryer were in the garage that had a bunch of stuff and cars, the ice maker was broken and looked moldy and so we had to buy ice bags. The bed was broken and was not told anything until upon arrival so we had to buy an air mattress. Furniture were all old and some were broken. Julie also let my father know upon arrival that the faucet in the shower had just been fixed and to be careful with it because it could break again so we didn't use it and just used the other one shower. This was the first Airbnb that we have ever stayed at that we didn't enjoy because it was not kept up well, we didn't even cook or anything because we were afraid that we would be charged an additional charges or that things weren't cleaned thoroughly. The pool was freezing cold so couldn't enjoy it in the late afternoon. The handle on the stove looked like it was glued on and the closet to the master bedroom had locks on them, all the bedding were old and worn down. I can understand that we cannot expect a brand new home but I would not rent this home out as a Airbnb until I get stuff fixed and upgraded. My husband and I saved up money for this trip to spend on leisure stuff and we couldn't because we had to buy other stuff to make our stay better, we also had to buy blankets because there were no extra ones, the rules were posted on the fridge that only 2 body washes (which we did not use) per bathroom and 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom. We also paid almost $1000 for this home and spent on car rental. All in all of all the Airbnb's we have stayed in this has been a bad experience :(

• Edna (7/5): Good - Property is nice, but there are a lot of things that need to be repaired, and a little more maintenance is needed. You need to pay to do your laundry, and you need to pay to use the barbecue grill in other Airbnb. I didn't need to pay to use the equipment.

• Casey (10/5): Comfy house, nice host - The house was spacious. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, we were very comfortable. The house has what you need, whether you're there for business or pleasure. Julie is a nice host.
