• Susan (10/5): Amazingly wonderful! - Everything about our stay at this lovely guesthouse nestled above the hills of Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) was perfect. The space which included a large bedroom with plenty of storage, living room with a comfortable deep couch (also a pullout bed that we did not use) and a perfect kitchen area stocked with everything we needed was much appreciated. Lovely views and a neighborhood perfect for taking brisk walks up and around (meaning a good cardio workout!). Our hosts were beyond delightful and very thoughtful. Truly tranquil and such an exceptional experience! Everything was perfect and there was nothing we did not like!

Quiet neighborhood! It's great if you want to get away from the noise of LA. Plenty of parking space out of the property. The wifi signal was very weak. And our phone service was not working well either. The TV had no remote, so we had to manually control the volume.
• Grant (10/5): Large, comfortable and quiet apartment centrally located in Beverly Hills - The hosts were wonderful and met us personally when we arrived. The home is modern and very comfortable. Lots of personal touches including original art the owner's father painted. It had an abundance of storage and would be comfortable to stay for long term visits. The home has a very nice view from the back porch of multimillion dollar homes. We loved sipping wine or coffee there. It is a very nice quiet location and only once did we hear the owners, and there was very little traffic on the road. The home was very centrally located for a visit to Southern California, and convenient for for visits to the Getty Museum, tours of famous architect's homes, the coast, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Malibu. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing.

• Inpyo (1/5): Bad - They just charged part of portion after few months later from the checked in. Our trip was August and suddenly got charged part of fee on end of October. Seems there was some error to their system but still We already split all spending and processed from Aug trip and now I have to ask another money to my company. Quiet annoying situation.

• Peter (10/5): Magnificent location in a designer home to enjoy the best of the Beverley Hills location - An incredible location with a magnificent view at the top ridge of Beverley Hills nestled in among the mansions - you couldn't ask for better. A designer home filled with art, balcony overlooking the valley surrounded by a private hedge, lovely hosts who were welcoming but left us to enjoy our stay, comfortable bed, great shower, equipped kitchen, TV with Netflix.
• Wei-yu (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable and quiet neighborhood, the house is truly up in the hills.We loved the view from the private patio. The hosts were very nice. Wifi was spotty at times. We contacted the hosts who responded quickly and came over to help resolve the issue.

• David (10/5): The stay was restful and awesome. - The views are amazing and peaceful from the apartment and at the table and chairs outside. It is a very quiet and restful place. Sleeping is great! The owners are pleasant and do not disturb you. I had a little problem with the apparent lack of TV selections, but I did not mention that to the owners. I could only get a few sub par roku programs. I am not proficient with electric gizmos so I could take the blame on that one. You will not need much tv entertainment there anyway.

Our host arranged for the keys to be placed in a lockbox. However, when we arrived at the property, he met us at the door even though it was very late. We appreciated the hands-on approach. Nothing to report. Everything went smoothly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

• Laura (10/5): Nice european-style apartment in Beverly Hills neighborhood - The best part of the Silver Box is the view! We enjoyed our stay - we were greeted by the host, very friendly, he made sure we knew we could get in touch with him for any questions, but we didn't see them again for the rest of the stay even though the entrance is shared. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen basics (including coffee, sugar, microwave), and there was shampoo and lotion provided (some other reviews said not). It's located up in the hills on a wide and well-lit but wind-y road, only 15 minutes drive or so from several neighborhoods. And, we found it quite fun to stay up in that neighborhood with all the beautiful houses.

• Alice (1/5): This was the worst experience I’ve had in my entire life on a trip. Privacy is key. I felt violated and unsafe. - It had a bathroom. The entrance to the apartment’s lock broke an hour after arrival. The host couldn’t fix it even though it was only 6:30pm. The host then brought a 3 POUND WEIGHT, put it in front of the door, and said, “Don’t worry. I won’t come in.” I thought it was a joke. EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE. Had my partner not been with me, I would have left and requested a full refund. This is not a safe place to stay if there is no lock. (Pictured below what was used to keep the door closed. Ridiculous.) Also, the host interrupted constantly and appeared and tried to chat. When you are paying for a place to stay, you’re not paying for a companion or forced conversation. It was obnoxious and felt like a violation of privacy which was already nil considering there was NO LOCKING DOOR.

• Kristen (7/5): The breathtaking view is worth the visit. - Accessing the unit was easy. I was advised on how to access the lockbox where the key was kept. The unit presented exactly as described. It was in the Hills with a beautiful view. I was in very clean and well kept condition. Others offered complaints about utensils etc but they appeared to be new and all in good condition. I did not know in advance parking was on the street and I was not permitted to park in front of the house despite there being space. I did not argue this but while it ended up being fine to park on the street, this should be made clear in the listing. The bed was very uncomfortable. While I suspect it was not an inexpensive bed, it was an extremely soft memory foam, queen size. It was only a few miles to the nearest store but LA traffic as it is, a few miles does not equal a few minutes so if there is anything I can suggest is pick up the few essentials if you need milk or juice for your morning coffee as there is no easy way to get it...which I knew in advance but am just reinforcing. One another small thing I did not know in advance, there was no soap in the shower. I would have brought it had I known in advance. Small item but worth sharing so the next visitors are well prepared.

• Lindi (9/5): Brilliant stay - Wonderful setting. I miss sitting on the little little terrace at sunset admiring the view. We loved our stay and the owners were so nice and kind. Kitchen utensils good quality and well stocked. Nothing to dislike. Note that you are a 20 minute drive from the closest store, but that is what we loved about it. The respite from busy LA life was great after a day’s sightseeing.

Very clean, kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prep breakfast and light dinner. Most comfortable bed out of any hotels/ guest houses we have ever visited; it’s VERY comfortable. Spacious and clean bathroom, with lots of towels provided. The hosts are lovely; they made us feel welcome but also gave us all the privacy we needed, as if it was our own home. We’d love to go back! We loved everything. At first we weren’t sure if the street parking was safe to use but soon realized that it was perfectly fine.
