Very welcoming and helpful staff, and delicious food available. A little difficult to find because the maps location isn't accurate, but Phuong was great at giving us directions, so it wasn't really a problem.

The lake side was beautiful and peaceful, the food was homey and delicious and the views from the pool were stunning. I will absolutely return one day again.

We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, and the owners were really helpful with information about Hanoi, travel, etc. The space is artistic, beautiful, and good fun. A lot of love has been put into creating the space. It is a nice distance from the noise of Hanoi, with walking tracks up to the local summit nearby. The accommodation is on the banks of a lovely lake, with sit on top kayaks available, amazing meals. Beautiful space, highly recommended.

• Théodore (9/5): Superb - i spent my first three nights here after arriving in vietnam. i was looking for a quite place to charge my batteries before going to hanoi, and it didn't disapoint! i booked a room with seaview and could choose between my room - and a bus in the garden! i love this kind of alternative little things that show you how the owners care for their places. overall i had an amazing time here, espescially regarding the hospitality! i could ask for a simple dinner/lunch and it was delicious (f.ex. noodles with beef or rice with fried pork), ask for advice regarding small hiking-tours in the hills/mountains around or whatever, phương and the crew were always there to help. There is just one thing: i was staying here from wednesday to saturday and the closer you got to the weekend, the more music you heard from the other hotels and camping around the lake. apparently during the weekend its a bit the camping-party-place for people from hanoi. but if you know and expect it you can kind of tune it out, as the view and overall feeling you get when being in this place is amazing! 9.5/10, i definitely recommend!

You can rent a kayak and go around the lake. There's a small swimming pool too. The room is fine but it doesn't look like on the pictures. The AC is sometimes weak. The food is quite pricey compared to other places in Hanoi and there are no shops or restaurants near the hotel.
