• Reg (9/5): - beautifully set up, clean and lamps on was a nice touch. 10.30 am check out is a bit harsh and many places are acknowledging that later check out is more of a norm on a holiday rental particularly. Kate was accommodating to extend the extra half hour and that was very gracious.

• Jadranka (10/5): Absolutely amazing stay. - Great, clean place. Kate was so easy to deal with. 25 min walk to the town center. Clean,new beds but too soft for my liking.
• Rachael (7/5): - Great location and lovely and spacious. Well equipped and super comfy beds, lots of games etc to keep us entertained. Clean inside and really comfortable. The outside area was quite dirty and hadn't been maintained. Shame really as the pictures posted on tbe property details showed a beautiful outside space which wasn't usable. This has been commented on a in a few previous reviews but clearly hadn't been listened to. Let the property down unfortunately. The windows outside were also really dirty.

• Mcdonald (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place for a quiet retreat in a useful location. Terrific place to stay and very clean. As with all places there are a few small things - the tap for the bath needed a little repair, and the bath didn't hold water - but these things did not detract
• Robyn (10/5): A delight from as soon as we walked in. - Cannot overstate how wonderful this home is. Every facility/need has been considered and it’s a delight as soon as you enter the property. A wonderful retreat in a delightful location. We couldn’t have imagined wanting anything else (yes, considering long term squatting did sneak into conversations!) Some other friends called in on their way through Rye and that were also impressed and definitely will be staying there next time in the area. Kate was a great host and terrific communicator. That we had to leave!

• Serah (8/5): Overall it was great. - The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery. The inside had a lovely eclectic style. The only thing I didn't like is that the outside tables and BBQ were not dusted down and cleaned.

I wrote some on the white board on fridge. No smoke detectors in situ which in qld would be a breach of rental laws.

• Samantha (10/5): What a gorgeous place to stay for a weekend or longer.. - The property was easy to find, lovely outside and inside open plan, very clean and spacious. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed available for a weekend. The host was easy to communicate with. Nothing it was perfect.

• Kym (8/5): Cute clean modern property in good area for reasonable price - House was modern , well furnished for its size and practical.Bathroom lovely and light . Separate Second toilet a bonus. Well equipped kitchen. Location with in easy walk to peninsula pantry for breakfast or coffee. Loved the bright pops of colour in the bedding and all around the house.would be happy to stay here again if the need arouse . The lockbox we had difficulty with to open . Eventually popped open after a period of 10 minutes of trying. The outside of this property had so much potential but unfortunately has been let go . Besides the lovely table outside the back door nothing else was useable. Despite finding the inside of the house immaculately clean the multiple areas were unswept and gone mouldy and need replacing. Such a shame as we had lovely weather and warm nights that could have really enjoyed it .

• Lorena (7/5): We had a comfortable stay. The property was well equipped for a family stay. Thank you 😊 - Location was very good. Close to shops and beach in a quiet street. Good size house with multiple areas for recreation. Provision of linen and basic cleaning items was a nice addition. Cleanliness could be improved. High use areas were clean, but when checking for all our items before leaving we noticed small items under beds along with a lot of dust, and also under couches. There were a lot of ants, spiders, and a cockroach found during our stay. Easily fixed with some preventative bug sprays. Some outside lights came on automatically during the night and we couldn't work out how to switch off. Labelling on switches or some sort of welcome booklet with a quick run-down of property facilities and directions would have been a nice addition. A little misleading on having pantry and fridge items and knowing what was for our use, so we only used tea/coffee plus soaps. Maybe a brief note on air-conditioning/heating (not that we needed it, but for really hot or cold days). Coffee machine didn't work properly each time, not piercing the pods, so had to retry a few times before it worked.

Beautifully decorated. comfortable and clean property, with lovely gardens and different outdoor spaces for relaxing. Quite location. We enjoyed our stay at the Rye hide Out. The only thing that was missing for us was WIFI as our cellular connection was very poor. However, some may like this if they prefer to be off grid.

Pantry was well stocked with all the essentials and the kitchen had a great range of utensils and cookware for us to make good meals. We really appreciate getting to stay in such a wonderful home. • Jenny (9/5): Superb - Lovely unit, nicely decorated with everything we needed. Good heating for the cold weather and a nice shower. The gardens around the property are obviously well cared for by a keen gardener. It was a little difficult to find at first as the entrance isn't located on the street given and there was no number to be seen.

Quiet neighbourhood and good location that is close to beach. 4. Lovely clean bathroom. 5. Landlord Kate replies messages quickly with detailed information. 1. The room next to the dining room has poor reception of WiFi. 2. Bed & pillow are a bit too soft for us but it's only our personal preference. 3. Garden's furniture is not clean but it's doesn't affect our stay. 4. Found a dead bug in the bedroom drawer. However we still love this house!

• Rimma (9/5): small and perfectly formed - The house was small but perfectly formed, had all the things that you need for having a great time on the peninsula. It is walking distance to the shops, coffee and beach. The house was quiet and had lots of places to sit and soak up the sun and the atmosphere. Not much really, the outside furniture was a bit dirty, but that really didn't affect anything.

• Maxine (6/5): was lovely to stay in a home where we could have our family together.. - roomy, clean was unsure of all the food in the freezer.. didn’t know if it was left for us to use or not.. wasn’t enough room for our requirements.. outside wasn’t swept or blown down, we had a 1 yr old still crawling & couldn’t really put her down because of all the possum poo.. was not inviting to sit outside. we couldn’t find the high chair

• Lois (9/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay - Lovely home with nice and clean furnishing. There were little details that we really enjoyed, like the bedding, the welcome wine and snack and the effort to provide entertainment like books, games for all ages. Overall a very comfortable stay in a very nice house. The lockbox was slightly faulty while the outdoor areas of the house were not that clean and well-maintained.
