Guest Reviews
- Kristina (9/5): Great location for the whole family at an affordable price - We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t have asked for a better setup for our group of 11. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably without ever feeling cramped, which made it perfect for a larger group.
The location was a real highlight—just a short distance to the beach and very close to the hot springs, making it easy to plan both relaxing and fun outings without long travel times.
The BBQ was a great bonus for easy dinners. One of the standout features for us was the huge selection of board games, which kept the kids entertained for hours and made for some really fun family time.
Overall, this place ticked all the boxes—spacious, well-located, and thoughtfully set up for groups. We’d happily stay again! There could have been some basics for the kitchen.
- Hacer (10/5): We had a great time thank you - The host was very responsive and a very nice to talk to. The house was very clean, very comfortable beds all utensils available in the kitchen and out door setting was great The driveway was on a hill
- Pat (10/5): - We were very happy with the house so much room and plenty of places to sit and gather with our family. Lots of glasses and crockery, everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfy and everyone could have their own room. My granddaughter loved the toys, spent a bit of time exploring what was there. The games and dvds were a welcome bonus.
- Jenny (8/5): Comfortable 4 x bedder. - House clean & comfortable inside!
Nice decore. No top sheets on the beds.
The unkept lawns & gardens. Windows not clean.
- Jodi (9/5): - House was very spacious for a family of 6 people. No tea towels or dish clothes that we could find otherwise the place was fantastic and we had a fantastic time!

Was nothing to complain about.

- Claudia (10/5): - Beds and rooms were comfortable. The house had everything we needed. A lovely stay overall. Grass wasn't cut at the back and it would have been better if outdoor settings both on balcóny and at the back was set up before we arrived. We would have been happy to put them back inside before we left.

- Moore (10/5): Fantastic weekend getaway - House was cosy, great stay.
I left some belongings behind and Tracy was happy to mail them to me. 11/10. The children made a game of inspecting and rating the adults driving skills, as they watched from the balcony, while we reversed down the slender driveway.
A fun time was had by all (even the nervous reversers)

- Linda (10/5): Fantastic place to go with friends, exceptional property. - The photos on the internet, do not do this property justice. We had a girl's weekend away and all had our own room. The property has everything you could imagine.

- Michael (8/5): Very good - The inside of the house was lovely, tastefully decorated. The gardens were rough didn't compliment the inside.
The above old black outdoor furniture was left in a heap in the back garden.
The dog next door barked most of the 2nd night.

- Hannah (10/5): Super relaxing, comfortable home. Great for groups of friends to reconnect away from the city. - We appreciated the early check in and late check out. The home was beautiful, super clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we felt very at home here. A lovely getaway with friends. Nothing, we liked everything.
- Michelle (7/5): Good - Kitchen and bathrooms and bedding were clean The couch needs replacing, it is rather dirty and worn out to the extent it was uncomfortable to sit on. Also need to be wary of things hanging on the wall, some wall hangings fell off the wall and nearly hit my neice on the head. Also the rooms were rather hot. We stayed in high temps. Only one room has air conditioning. We got out portable fans for the othercrooms but they too were somewhat damaged. The bottom fell of one when we picked it up and the othere has unstable legs. These are safety hazards

- Alla (9/5): Superb - We had a great time at the Tea Trees Retreat. Very relaxing and beautifully decorated house. Clean and has everything you need. The dishwasher wasn't washing the dishes properly.
- Hollie (10/5): Comfortable, clean and cosy with everything you need - Has everything you need, what you see is what you get!
Very comfortable and practical for a group with plenty of extra pillows and bedding. King Bed was soo comfortable!
Little hidden Bakery down the road was surprisingly impressive - amazing food and coffee ! Back area was over grown at the time we stayed. But the balcony is the more useable outdoor space.
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Prue (9/5): We had a great stay, thankyou.... :) - The location was great and we really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. We were close to where our relatives were staying which was what we wanted. There was adequate bedroom and bathroom linen and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking gear and utensils. There was no actual breakfast supplied, however there were quite a few members in our group so we weren't expecting it to be provided. The children were excited about the big collection of DVD's to choose from and having lots of games to keep them occupied when we were not out and about. Thankyou also for being flexible with regard to check-in and departure times. That was very helpful. We were actually mostly satisfied with the house. There were just a couple of minor things we would suggest. One thing that would have been helpful was a few more rails or hooks in the bathrooms for hanging up towels, and it would have been helpful to perhaps have a small stool in the bathrooms to put clean clothes on when having a shower. We also thought the floor in the kitchen/dining area could perhaps have been a little cleaner. Otherwise, everything was excellent, thankyou.
- Rhenie (8/5): Great for large groups, good value for money and well equipped place to enjoy the Peninsula. - Many rooms with beds to accommodate large family. The front verandah was lovely in the sun and great to enjoy the bbq and a shared meal. Well equipped. Great to have coffee shop around corner. Needed to drive short distances to get to most sites, although not too far away. A few bugs around although these are common around area.
- Ebony (10/5): Exceptional - The house was beautifully decorated while also being comfortable. One of our cars was unable to make it up the steep entrance to the driveway, but they were able to park on the road.
- Tracey (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. great place for larger groups. - Tea Trees Retreat was excellent. We had a great stay. The home was well equiped, beds were comfortable, living zones were super comfortable. Kitchen had ample cups, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. We were thrilled with how comfortable the home was. Lovely quiet area with a cafe 5 minutes walk away. What's not to like. NOTHING
- Peta (10/5): Very pleasant stay. - Neat and clean. Plenty of rooms. Lots of DVDs. Plenty of heating options for Winter. Only had 2 dishwashing tablets for 3 days.
- Julian (10/5): Great weekend getaway - would stay again - The house itself is perfect for our family. It was 30 degrees + both days but the house stayed quite cool. Had everything we needed to cook a few meals and our kids loved the deck and garden. Only a few mins drive to a beautiful beach. Recommend tootgarook beach for the littlies.
We had such a nice time that we tried to book an extra night but it was unfortunately booked.
We hope to stay again. The bbq ran out of gas just as we started to cook. Replaced with the secondary bottle but that seemed to be empty too. Not a big bother though there was enough pans to cook our food on the stove and didn't worry us.
