• Jennifer (8/5): Great accommodation for a family in the town of Clare - The house was very tidy, having two bathrooms was very convenient. The yard was dog friendly. Kitchen facilities were excellent with new appliances and a large fridge, nice breakfast and coffee machine supplied. The games room is a bonus. Good communication from the host. Bathrooms need updating but they were clean. The location is a bit industrial, but a nice park and the Riesling Trail are close by.

• Guest (7/5): Happy with the accommodation and friendly host - The house being located in the town meant that for most of our outings it was only a few minutes from where we needed to go. Having a backyard that was secure for a small dog to run around in was great. It had all the facilities and things we needed to make our stay comfortable. Appreciated having an effective air conditioner to use as a couple of days were hot. Unfortunately the backyard, especially the lawn had a lot of prickles, which of course meant a lot of de-prickling of dog needed to be done but it wasn’t a big issue just a bit annoying. The house was clean and comfortable but it is showing its use and age a bit with a quite a few chips and marks on the floor, cupboards, and walls. Bed and sofas a bit too soft for me but again, not a big deal.

• Vivienne (8/5): A lovely home in a good location to the golf club and retail Main Street. Lots of good restaurants. - The breakfast and fridge supplies were very welcome and good. The electric blanket in the second bedroom didn't work Each of us stubbed our toes or feet on the corner of the exposed hearth of the combustion heater coming out of the rear toilet - this needs to be addressed as a more serious injury could arise.

• Karen (8/5): Special touches and excellent position made for a wonderful girls’ weekend away - The accommodation is in an excellent spot, close to Main Street and the Riesling Trail. The beds are comfy and everything is in the house that you would need to make for an enjoyable stay with well thought extras like fluffy warm dressing gowns! Although 2nd the bathroom is very clean it definitely could do with an update.

• Lynne (8/5): Clean and comfortable but garden lets it down from bring a 10 - Well appointed home with plenty of space. Beds comfortable. Kitchen had lots of equipment. Easy to stay here. Garden and outdoor maintenance had been neglected. Weeds growing in the guttering. Lawns not mown, garden was weedy . This detracted from the ambience and on arrival raised some concerns. Outdoor furniture although generous was dusty and had to be cleaned before use. Inside was completely different clean and comfortable. No communication from host other than automated emails but that wasn’t an issue for us.

Location was very quiet, the house was spacious and furniture comfortable. The showers were tricky to stabilise the temperature, especially in the 2nd bathroom & despite written instructions.

It made out work week even better knowing we were going back to accommodation like this. The amenities were fantastic and the care taken by our host to accommodate us was highly appreciated. Lovely host and very communicative. Great for a small group. Enjoyed the breakfast items provided and the Nespresso coffee machine. Unfortunately we did have a few problems. Wifi wasn’t working during our stay (the Host tried their very best to rectify). The fireplace wasn’t able to be used but we weren’t aware of this until day 2 of our stay. loved the games shed but there didn’t seem to be a way to adjust the overhead heater, which meant it was quite cold. Would prefer if there was a dryer on-site.
