Guest Reviews
- Jutta (8/5): - Check in via agent is painful
- Ainsley (6/5): A little disappointing with a beautiful view - Location amongst the trees and the beautiful birds that came to visit. The size of the place and view. Main bed was comfortable. We were allowed an earlier check in and keys were left at the property so we could go straight there. For the price, you would expect to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bathroom but there wasn’t - a previous comment was made which the host noted and has done nothing about. Minimal toilet paper that had to be rationed, the property wasn’t clean - we had to wipe down the tables/chairs/high chair, showers wasn’t clean, there were still dishes in the dishwasher, no bin bags, downstairs Doona had a stain on it, cobwebs on the balcony. There just was no love in the place which taints the feel of the stay. No one that came would stay there again. It’s the little details and final touches of a place that can leave a lasting impact. The house has so much potential, just needs extra attention and it could be amazing.
- Hayley (7/5): Lovely home, we had a great Lorne holiday, plenty of space for a large group. - Fabulous view through the trees to the bay. Wonderful spacious and light filled modern home with plenty of space for the family. Firewood not supplied as advertised with the property on GORH website so plan to buy some in town. It would have been wonderful to have basic toiletries like soap/body wash provided for all bathrooms. There was summer weight bedding but no extra blankets for the winter months so beds were a little cold, heaters supplied to warm the rooms up instead. Extra little touches to make guests feel welcome would have been appreciated- tea, sugar and maybe some oil for cooking. Small maintenance required- One of the external doors did not lock; Small nails were coming out of a worn out dining room seat pad, painful when one of our guests sat on it.
