The host was responsive and gave detailed directions about how to get to the property. It was quick and clean! The pillows were uncomfortable (for adults, no issues for kids), and there wasn't much space for luggage without moving things (which wasn't allowed) so we felt cramped with our luggage.

Also could walk to restaurants and shops at Universal Walk City. Our neighbour and the cat were lovely and friendly. The steep stairs - needed some tread safety strips just to stop us from slipping. The mattresses were too hard. they could use a mattress topper

• NAKAGAWACHI (6/5): 金銭的にはいいのかもしれませんが、海外の方だけでなく日本人にも貸すのであれば日本語の説明書も欲しいです、最後のメールも漢字だけのメールで部屋の入り方も鍵も電話できくしかありませんでした、電話がつながったので良かったですが、 - アメニティがちゃんとあって、2泊分皆で使っても十分でした 説明書が全て日本語では無く、WiFiがつなげなかったこと、孫はYouTubeやゲームが出来なくてすごく不機嫌でした、後テレビも1部屋にしか無く、2階に寝る家族はWiFiもダメなので寝るだけでした、それもメインの家族達で、1階に寝たのは近所の方を誘ったのでお金を負担した私達はテレビを見れずWiFiも使えず孫に怒られてちょっと残念でした。せめてリビングがあってそこで皆でテレビ見れたらよかったかもですね、

• Guillaume (8/5): Our stay In Osakawent really well because our stay was really good. Thank you - Place, size, clean, and staff really dependable. My daughter forgot something in the apartment and the reaction of the staff was immediate. Just miss something to use as a table for breakfast, the small one in the first floor and the other one in the second floor are a bit small for a family of 4.
• Liane (7/5): Good for Usj - One stop away from Usj 7 minutes walk to station There’s no food or shops around, only combini. Good if going to Usj but We went to Usj for 2 days but stayed for 5 nights. My daughter got sick and the combini doesn’t sell otc meds. We had to go into central Osaka to find a store. The house was very cold. You can use ac in rooms but not in common areas so it was uncomfortable. Nowhere to sit down together to eat. We used the washer but no dryer and clothes took 3 days to dry. There’s no towel rack so towels were damp . The shower temperature was also not very hot and not enough hot water for 5 people. No hand soap provided in upstairs toilet area so had to purchase my own. No paper towels either so had to purchase my own. Walls are thin. Woke up because I heard heavy footsteps in the middle of the night. It was no one in our family so I realized it must be next door. Could also hear them talking from morning to night. Not worth $450 USD per nite..

• Jess (8/5): Good cheap accom for fam 4 close to Usj - 5 min walk to 7/11 and lawsons. 5 min walk to sukarjma station. 20min walk to usj ( or 1 station). Location for usj was excellent. Spacious rooms. Pillows are very flat. We couldn’t find any restaurants other than at usj ( 20 min walk). I asked in 3 places but couldn’t successfully arrange baggage forwarding from here.

• Caldwell (3/5): Good proximity to Universal Studios otherwise disappointing - Proximity to universal studios So small. No room at all to move let alone to store luggage. Very pokey & uncomfortable. Should have less beds. We only had 5 people (2 adults & 3 kids) and it was very tight. There are 4 very small double beds. There is no way 9 people could stay here. Stairs ridiculously steep & dangerous. Shower & towels were good but otherwise very basic accommodation.

• Smondack (8/5): Logement trop petit pour 5 personnes - Nous avons choisi ce logement car il se trouve à 20 min à pied environ de l'entrée d'universal studio. Pas de place de parking compris dans le prix de la location. Une pièce "principale" qui est plutôt un couloir pas du tout adapté à l'accueil de plus de 2 personnes même s'il y a 4 chaises. Idem pour la vaisselle. Il ne faut y venir que pour dormir. Et en dehors d'une chambre spacieuse àl'étage, les deux autres chambres permettent à peine d' ouvrir les valises. Cher pour le service rendu.

• Stephanie (8/5): Very affordable. - Near Sakurajima station. We were able to extend one night thru messages. Very affordable. Washer only. Parking is very limited. The one parking lot under the bridge is underconstruction. I thought we reserve the 6 bedroom apt because that is what i saw at the picture. but I guess it’s the 5 bed only. The internet is only a pocket wifi. We are gone all day (6:30 am -10:30pm) but when we got back, the internet was not working. I wonder how we consumed the data. The towels are brown colored.
• Travis (10/5): Good location for a big family to stay while going to Universal. - The property was able to house our family of 6. There are few places that can, so finding this place was awesome. Walls were thin and the guests that were 102 (on our first night) were very very loud until about midnight which disturbed our kids. The guests that checked in on our second day were much quieter.
• Danielle (10/5): We absolutely loved the convenience of self check in and how easy the entire process was. - The quiet location was perfect to relax after a long day adventuring. The Short walk from a 24hr Lawson's was very convenient. A seat near the entrance would have been ideal as we had someone with a disability and struggled with their shoes.

• Chris (8/5): Convenient, easy check and communications, excellent value for money Vs USJ hotels - Is basic , very clean , good value for money and really close to USJ There isn’t a lounge or space to sit as a group but we knew that before booking and where there for USJ so didn’t spend too long at the house
• Larry (7/5): Osaka vacation - Convenient location near family mart, 7-11 and a 15min walk to universal studio which isn't too bad if you like to exercise and get your steps in. The house is made of wood and I had to be careful not to make too much noise walking around and doing stuff because you are connected to another house rental next door and we can hear all their movements. Other than that, it was a great stay most our time was out and about exploring Osaka. It is a beautiful place to visit.

• Claudene (8/5): Perfect home for big family if you plan to be out on tours for most of the day. - Close to train station, convenient store and Universal. Stairs to 2nd floor steep. Wish there were couple more folding chairs in order to be able eat in kitchen. We had to take turns eating a meal at the table or stand at kitchen counter. New neighbors that arrived day before we left were very loud.

• Finarose (9/5): Great value for your money - The location-if you plan a trip to USJ but on a budget with group of friends,this home is perfect for 9 people.Very neat and convenient with ATM and 7 Eleven nearby.Umbrellas were provided also to use while staying.Very good heating system for water,2 toilets is advantageous. There was no weighing scale and flat iron for clothes.Although it is not my intention to press clothes,but since I washed them-the washing machine was only set for spin and dry and the clothes were damp bec.of the rainy weather.

• Max (9/5): If you're looking to stay near the Universal Studios, this is a great place for families and friends - The location given on Google Maps was slightly different, but we were able to find the place later on. There is no parking, but we were able to park on the street nearby. The place is very clean, the facilities are OK for a few nights. The pinpointed location given on the instructions via Google Maps link was slightly different from the right location. The walls are paper thin, so we were able to hear the neighbors and a bit afraid our kids were disturbing them, since they could probably also hear us back...

I also liked that there was a refrigerator and two toilets. They provided toothbrushes and a washing machine with detergent and softener. Overall the place was better than expected and all my family enjoyed it. The toilet area seemed a little small. Not really bad but the men in the group were tall and were a little uncomfortable when using the bathroom.

• Bernard (8/5): Very good - The location - we intended to go to Universal Studios and it was very easy to get there from the property! We didn't have enough space for the family to dine, which is understandable due to the size of the space.
• Chen-yu (10/5): Exceptional - It is conveniently located and very cozy and clean. The most appreciated is that they helped courier my kid’s puppet doll to the following hotel we stayed in Kyoto efficiently before we left Japan. It’s great value for a big family’s traveling stay!

Much cheaper than the hotels next to the park-one train stop away. Very clean. Good bathroom. Up and downstairs toilet. Easy check-in. 7/11 nearby but not much else. Quiet street.

• Myshioda (7/5): Affordable place to stay for your budget near USJ, steep stairs, but bedroom on 1st floor. - The location was very close to USJ, which was one of the main reasons we picked this place. Although the host gave clear instructions on how to get there by train and railway, driving there finding the location is always a bit more difficult. There is no onsite parking, you must park in the coin parking a little ways down the street. It's not far, but it's just not right in front of the house. There was enough bedrooms for my family of six and it was nice having the place all to our selves. The air conditioning worked great, and beds were comfortable and big. I liked there was a washing machine and supplies to hang up your wash to dry. I think it would be a nice place to stay for extended amounts of time. Overall, I wanted to save money for our family, and this airbnb was the solution, it was half the price of two hotel rooms for our two night stay, so whatever faults there were overrode due to the price and location. I liked how the check in was done on-line, and keys were picked up at a box. The stairs was a bit steep, and there wasn't much room to move around in. The luggage we brought which were small suitcases blocked the available space to walk around in, and it would not have been convenient to lug it up the stairs to the bedrooms. Since it's an older building there's naturally an old building smell, it was fine later on, but when you immediately enter the room, it was more prominent. It was pretty cramped in living room/shared space for our Asian family of 4 adults and 2 children 4 and 5 years-old, however the bedrooms itself were ok in size. There is no bath/shower on the second floor, but that's pretty typical of Japanese homes. Communication with host was a little slow, since they asked to communicate through bookings and asked us to not call unless it was an emergency.
• Alejandro (2/5): Stay at you own risk. Will never stay again. - Clean, space for 5 people. Being together in one bldg. Close to USJ and train station. The floors were dangerously soft. I had to dance around to avoid falling thru and my complaints were dismissed. The bldg smelled like mold. Seriously, the floor was held together by the linoleum. Bldg 102. Nothing worse than getting up to go to bathroom and playing hopscotch.

• Lee (9/5): Well the stay are marvelous with fresh air and near to train station - The owner of the property are good well behave and sending instruction how to manage the key , so no worry ,there is a simple way , owner a better which good communication and manage well for me to check in advance for luggage only , already help me more . Worth to have a pleasure with and stay , room are big enough ,kids are happy with the snoopy decoration almost everything , clean and all well prepare ! Maybe its the time to renovate the floor little saggy .. soft
