• Tomas (9/5): Great and authentic experience - highly recommended! - Anna Laura is a great and attentive host and this house is really something special and authentic. Good kitchen amenities so you can prepare your food well. I appreciated the mosquito net over the bed too. If you're not looking for a fancy resort, this is a place to go! Only small details or things that can't be influenced - for example, the ocean waves crashing against the shore are pretty loud, so if you're not used to it, you won't get a very good sleep. But I believe it's just a matter of habit. Another specific thing for me is the remote work. The place is not exactly fitted for digital nomads, but it's definitely possible to do some work there. I didn't do any internet-heavy loads, but the electricity and internet were ok - I just had one temporary blackout, but within 30 mins, everything was working again.

• Kaitlin (10/5): Will definitely be back - Loved the kitchen, the comfy big king bed and the location. A little further from center but waking up to the ocean ever day was a blessing. People are friendly and are helpful with tours and transportation. Ana Laura is amazing and is willing to help with anything you need. Lots of wildlife right at the beach house. Great stay. Nothing we didnt like
• JEAN LUC (9/5): - Le bruit de la mer pour s'endormir... La vue depuis le balcon. On y passerait des heures. La grande réactivité de l'hôte. Manque peut-être deux chaises, des hamacs entre les cocotiers, et un essuie-mains à la cuisine pour être tout à fait bien 😊
• Ehr (9/5): Could not ask for better location. - Loved the location of this property. Hearing waves at night was a lovely sound to help you sleep. Would have appreciated to have a plug in kettle and toaster oven. Propane stove looked intimidating to use.
• Unt (10/5): - We really liked the place - beach romantic wilderness. Bed was very comfy, we slept so well. There is the true ocean sound, for us it was like lyllaby. The place is for a bit crazy peiople with light luggage. We did not know that we need watershoes to cross the water to get to the place. It is very hard to find in the darkness.

• Andras (7/5): Sehr einfache Unterkunft mit wenig Komfort, dafür volles Strandfeeling. - Der Ausblick auf den Strand war wunderbar. Einfach bei der Tür raus und direkt ins Meer springen. Auch die Organisation von der Anreise mit dem Boot und die Reservierung des Parkplatzes hat super geklappt. Die Empfehlung für unser Silvesterabendessen war spitze. Danke. Auch die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Moskitonetz sehr hilfreich. Leider gab es zu wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten. Wir konnten zu viert nicht gleichzeitig im Haus bei Frühstück sitzen. 2 weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten wären super. Und ein paar neue Pfannen und Gläser statt Plastikbecher wären auch schön.
• Ronja (7/5): - Wenige Meter zum Meer, privater Garten, sehr engagierte hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Ein kleines Häuschen mit offener Küche und Badezimmer, auch WC(mit Vorhang). Bei Doppelvermietung kaum bis keine Privatsphäre. Keine Schallisolierung darum auch Nachts durch naher Straße und Naturgeräuschen manchmal lauter.
• Tobias (7/5): Schöne Lage, aber wirklich anstrengende Kommunikation. - Lage Kommunikation sehr anstrengend; Küche sehr einfach und teils dreckig; leider auf dem Balkon nur ein Stuhl; Man muss vier Vorhängeschlösser anbringen bevor man die Unterkunft verlassen kann, Kameras aktivieren etc.
• malgrati (9/5): - La vista sul mare è molto carina e tranquilla, la stanza e i luoghi comuni erano ben accessoriati e puliti. Va considerato per chi come noi ha un bagaglio con le rotelle che bisogna necessariamente arrivare a piedi dalla spiaggia.

• Camilla (3/5): - Leider überhaupt keine Empfehlung, die Aussicht ist zwar schön und man ist nah am Zentrum aber die allgemeine Ausstattung ist veraltet und nicht gut. Unsere Lacken hatten Flecken, die Küchenutensilien, Geschirrhandtücher waren nicht sauber. Die angebrachten Netze am Haus haben überall Löcher und die Türen sind mit Vorhängeschlossen ausgestattet. Das Haus wirkt veraltet und in keinem guten Zustand. Generell kein gutes Gefühl der Sicherheit und Sauberkeit. Die allgemeine Kommunikation war anfangs gut und sie hat auch Touren angeboten und geholfen. Aber die Zahlung musste im vorraus gebracht werden und war sehr untransparent und unklar kommuniziert. Ich habe ihr kommuniziert dass wir bereits nach 2 Nächten auschecken (anstatt 4) und ihr die Gründe erklärt und gefragt ob sie mir einen Teil des Geldes erstatten kann. Darauf hin habe ich keine Antwort mehr bekommen und die Buchung über booking.com wurde storniert. Schlechteste Unterkunft die wir in ganz Costa Rica hatten und die Kommunikation finde ich unangebracht. In diesem Zustand würde ich diese Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen. Vor allem da der Preis sehr hoch ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Unterkünften hier.

• Carlos (8/5): - La ubicación y la casa rustica!! Inmejorables Para mí que soy alto, un poco incómoda la parte de arriba.
• Sandra (4/5): Sentimientos enfrentados! - La ubicación es inmejorable. Ana Laura estuvo muy atenta en todo lo relacionado con nuestro viaje, antes y durante. Nos facilitó la reserva del barco y las excursiones. La comunicación con ella fue excelente. La casa está poco cuidada y realmente sucia, sobretodo el menaje de la cocina y sus estanterías. Había sobras de productos dentro y fuera de la nevera. No hay un lugar para sentarse 3 personas alrededor de una mesa, por ejemplo. Ni para comer, ni para compartir un rato de juego. Tiene 2 sillas de plástico y, una de ellas, está destrozada. El estropajo de la cocina tiene vida propia. Se entiende que es una casa ubicada en la misma playa y en mitad de la selva, pero no se corresponde el estado en el que se encuentra. Más aún el precio que cobra.
• Marije (10/5): Amazing spot at the beach - Great spot, right at the beach. You can hear the waves at night. Ana and Gio are great hosts. They gave us nice advice about things to do. The co-living in the house went very smooth. The bed was very big and comfortabel. We slept downstairs. Ana was so kind to bring some forgotten clothes all the way to San Isidro. • Reese (9/5): Would definitely recommend staying at this place if you are going to Drake bay :) - We loved this property!!! The house is in an amazing location right on the beach. The hosts were very kind and friendly. We are grateful to have had the experience of staying here! It was a bit challenging to get to (with rental car) and be prepared to be comfortable with a very nature-y experience in bedroom and shower. We enjoyed it though!

• Colin (10/5): Naturalists Beach heaven - This is not your average hotel in fact it's not a hotel at all its a house like it says on a beach but it's absolutely wonderful if you like the idea of listening to waves crashing outside your bedroom it's that close or enjoy nature right at your feet you will love it I loved it but it's not for everyone. As long as you are aware of what it is and you are of the right mentality you will love it too. I can't wait to go back

• Stephen (7/5): Unique beach experience, best for young travelers. - Close to boat landing, adjacent to lovely swimmable beach. From upstairs room, a nice view of shoreline and palms from balcony. Comfortable king-sized bed. Close to town. Narrow steep stairs and low ceiling upstairs hard to navigate - best suited for travelers who are young and agile. Tricky to ascend up to main road. Owner cordial but not very friendly.

• Martin (7/5): As close to nature as a tent but far more comfortable. - You can't get more "beach hut" than this. It's basic, and everything works fine. The host Ana is really welcoming, she helped us a lot with arranging everything we needed. There is no WiFi.
• Giovanni (10/5): Stunnning private and quiet house at an amazing location. - The property is at the best location of Bahia Drake, finally a real beach house. The kitchen, toilet, shower etc.. are simple but they blend in the jungle giving a pure sense of freedom and wilderness, sound of the waves and beach sight accompanying you through all your stay. nothing.
