• Harald (10/5): Falls nochmal Brügge, sehr gerne wieder in dieser Wohnung. - Für einen Besuch in Brügge ist die Lage hervorragend. Keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Und dazu gab es im Kühlschrank überraschend Begrüßungsgetränke! Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Katrien war ausgezeichnet! Danke! Aufgrund der Bauweise des Hauses sind die Treppen sehr schmal und steil. Das ist nicht zu ändern, nur als Info gedacht.
• Jon (9/5): - Great location, beautiful town and quiet neighberhood. We will highly recommend it to our friends. Parking was a short walk away. We dropped off our luggage early, then parked the car and walked around Brugge. We loved exploring Brugge. One day, we took the bus to the train station then took the train to Ghent. We spent 5 nights here in Brugge and found lots of places to explore. The stairs are steep but we liked the Dutch home experience. We appreciated having two showers and two toilets. We used the washing machine and clothes dryer very useful. The oven is too high to use. We just used the microwave.

• Jelmer (8/5): TOP - De locatie was top, op korte loopafstand van het centrum en parkeergarage Pandrien (ook niet duur) dicht bij. Verder was het verblijf meer dan prima! Misschien wat harde kussen, maar dat is persoonlijke smaak.

• lynn (10/5): Beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean home in the Old Town - It felt like home away from home. Very comfortable and clean with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. Fabulous location right in the Old Town. The host Katrien was very responsive and when we had problems with our mobile coverage she very kindly booked us a cab to the train station. Wished we could have stayed longer. Nothing, loved it!

• Borbála (10/5): Igazi otthon - Közel helyezkedik el minden látnivalóhoz, csendes, nyugodt környék. Szép berendezés, tiszta, jól felszerelt konyha. Könnyű, gyors kommunikáció. Külön figyelmesség a gyerekeknek: játékok várták őket.
• Ian Rae (9/5): We had a fantastic stay at Katrien's apartment; just ideal for the 4 of us - this apartment is in a very quiet street, yet only a couple of minutes walk from a canal and a stunning stroll along to the centre of the medieval city. If you like food, then the 2 top rated vegetarian restaurants are very close. Katrien's communication was ideal; she also provided some coca-cola and beer on arrival. We were very comfortable in the apartment, a table to breakfast at with a sitting area to the front of the house, even a wee outside courtyard to listen to the bird song. As is normal in this part of the world, the apartment has stairs! The top floor bedroom has en-suite shower but the toilet is down one flight.

Plus little grocery store is literally 2 minutes away in case you need some water or necessities. Stairs:), but we knew about those, which was not a problem for us at all!

Amamos! Voltaríamos com certeza! Uma experiência típica!

The property was perfectly located, just a short walk from the beautiful Christmas markets and the iconic Belfry Tower. The apartment was cozy, beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable, homely stay. We loved how festive the city was, with twinkling lights and the scent of mulled wine in the air. The host was very welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the charm of Bruges during the holiday season. Highly recommend! We loved everything about our stay, although the stairs were quite steep, but it wasn’t an issue for us.
• June (10/5): Exceptional - This was our 3rd Christmas at this lovely house, as always we had everything we needed for a fantastic Christmas holiday. Beautiful traditional house in a perfect location. We'll be back next Christmas.
• John (10/5): An amazing house on a quiet road very close to town. - The property was clean, cosy, well equipped and exceptionally well located close to the main town centre (10 minute walk). Communication with the property owner was also very efficient and friendly. It was very close to a nice supermarket and also some local pubs and restaurants dotted within a minute or two walk of the property if you wish to avoid the crowds. Nothing I didn’t like, but it would be useful to know that the stairs to the third floor are quite steep, which may be difficult for anyone with difficulties walking or young children. There are two bedrooms on the second floor though so it was not an issue for us. Maybe a few extra pillows would have been nice but it was very comfortable all the same and I’m sure had I have asked, there would not have been an issue in getting some.

We didn’t like all the steep steps or that there was no toilet on the upper level. We had to trek down the steep stairs in the night to use the toilet. Yes, we are seniors and this happens.

• Antonio (8/5): Convenient location very close to town centre. Had all amenities you would need for a family. - Plenty of room for the family, with good size kitchen and good bathroom/shower facilities. We also made use of the washing machine and dryer that was available on the property. The property was very close to the centre of town which was very convenient. The temperature control settings were very cold for our taste coming from the middle east. We increased it the first night and the property manager made such a fuss about it I was a little annoyed.
• June (10/5): Exceptional - Our second visit to this lovely house was just as good as last Christmas. Katrien made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic family Christmas holiday. The location is excellent of course, even better this year with the wintergloed lights just around the corner. We will be back again.

• Petronis (9/5): Perfect location, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms made for a very enjoyable stay. - The location was perfect for a family with children, easy walk to grocery store, playground, and main tourist area of the city. The kitchen was well equipped and there were toys available to entertain the children. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The rooms had ample storage for belongings. The layout of the house was interesting with 3 levels. Washing machine and dryer were much appreciated. Mosquitoes. The nights were cool, but if you opened the windows to allow the cool air in, you woke up to plenty of bug bites. The owners quickly provided a standing fan to help move the air, but window screens in bedrooms would have been helpful to prevent the onslaught. The stairs were a little tricky with large suitcases, but not unmanageable.

My 4 friends and I all slept well. Personal welcome note, chocolates and complimentary drinks plus some you can buy in fridge was great. Communication with host from start to finish was excellent Stairs are a bit narrow and steep but we didn’t have a problem.

• Mark (10/5): Lovely quite property in a fantastic location - Very good location a short walk from the centre of Bruge. But super quiet. The house is in a UNESCO heritage area so bags of character but with modern bathrooms and facilities. The house had everything we needed and the host was super informative and responsive. It also has fast WiFi and decent cable TV to keep the kids happy. There was a good information pack as well as coffee sugar and other basics which were all included in the price. We went for a special birthday and the host very generously left a nice bottle.of champagne for us. In addition there were some drinks in the fridge that could be purchased and after visiting the local supermarket we realised they were very reasonably priced. The house was immaculate and clean upon arrival so fully recommend this property There was nothing that I would day we didnt like apart from the steep stairs...which seem.to be a feature in a few of the old.buildings that we visited during our visit to Bruge. So probably worth mentioning but not really a complaint in a world heritage site.

Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, welcome drinks, only a few min’s walk into town centre, parking garage, supermarket, bakery, restaurants. Our host was very friendly and responded quickly to all our questions. She also gave good local recommendation in her guest book. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Kruitenberg to anyone.
