• Chris Lohmeier (10/5): Super Appartements in bester Lage - Die Appartements sind wirklich wunderschön, die Lage ist optimal, und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war bestens. Wir sind jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier zu Gast gewesen, und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Uns hat alles gefallen.
• Chris Lohmeier (10/5): Tolles Appartement in bester Lage! - Uns hat die Lage des Appartements sehr gut gefallen - man ist 2 Gehminuten von der Lakenhalle und der Kathedrale entfernt, und es gibt sehr viele Restaurants und Geschäfte direkt nebenan. Die Gastgeberin ist auch total nett, und wir werden hier sicher noch einmal Urlaub machen. Alles war super!

• John (8/5): We would definitely return as we very much enjoyed our stay here. - This was an attractive, comfortable and very clean apartment with a private garden seating area in an extremely convenient location for shops, eateries, museum, cathedral, Menin Gate etc. There was no wash hand basin in the ground floor toilet which was located away from the shower and main wash facility.
• Guy (9/5): Excellent accommodation and brilliant position. - The position was great, it was very clean and tidy. Everything was as it should be. The washing machine was a bonus. The downstairs shower could do with a better support under the tray. Fly's are a problem in Belgium, generally it being so agricultural. Some kind of killer would help. However, none of the above would stop me booking again.

The house exceeded our expectations and we were sorry not to spend more time there. It was clean and bright with everything we needed for a short stay, there was even a step to reach high cupboards. The terrace is great on a sunny day. Comfortable beds Open side to stairs although there was a rail on the wall.

We think a double hand rail on the staircases would be helpful for both older people like us and maybe families with small children.

Spacioud bedroom with large and very comfy beds. All was very good. Parking was available a bit of a distance away, but given the one way narrow street system, it was lucky to be able to get a park!

It's location is perfect for the main square and the Menin Gate. stairs are a bit awkward so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues but once you get used to them they were ok.

• David (9/5): Excellent apartment in the middle of Ypres. - The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean in a very good location in the middle of Ypres. We also had a very nice veranda where we coupd sit in the sun. I couldn't fault this place and would book again. We also hired the electric bikes which were very good value for money and we used these to explore Ypres to the max. Karen our host was great. If you don't pay for parking you have to leave the car in the middle of the town.
• Helen (10/5): Very good location and wonderful apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. - The property was in a good location, well equipped, and spacious. Lovely view from the balcony area, and a nice little place for breakfast. You need to be careful on the stairs, on the way in and in the apartment, people with mobility issues need to be aware that the property has steep stairs, best to seek advice from the owner.

Ease of check in and check out Comfort and facilities in the actual apartment I know it cannot be helped with old town properties but the two flights of steep stairs to our apartment were a killer after a long day walking. No probs as we are a young family but older people may struggle.

Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need provided. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back!! I can't actually think of anything that I didn't like about the city or the apartment.

• Ron (9/5): Excellent Apartment in an Excellent Location - Excellent location in the centre of Ypres, for an additional fee the hosts allocated us a secure space in a nearby garage which was very handy. We have been visiting Ypres for many years for Armistice Day so we are quite familiar with the City and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. Only downside is that we were expecting two single beds in the main bedroom not a double however it was very big so we managed okay. This was my fault as I didn't notice it when booking the apartment.
