• Alison (10/5): We loved our visit to Leper - The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit, walking distance to the Menin Gate was a bonus. The apartment was clean and very comfortable and we would recommend this to anyone exploring Leper and the surrounding area. The host who met us was clearly stressed, immediately saying he was very busy and didn't have much time, we found his manner pretty unfriendly.

Enige minpunt was het niet aanwezig zijn van bijvoorbeeld een paar afwastabletjes voor de vaatwasser. Qua basis verbruiksmiddelen keuken is er niets, dus dat betekent meenemen of kopen daar (en voor vriendenweekenden neem je dat nou niet mee)

We were a 3 minute walk away from the Menin Gates and the market square. I stayed there with 6 adults and there was plenty of space for us all. Leaving !!

Beds very comfortable.Courtyard garden pleasant to sit in. Kitchen very well equipped. Host not there to meet us after phoning and texting several times. Could have done with hooks in bedroom for dressing gowns. Stairs very steep and narrow, not aware of this prior to stay. I have MS and found them difficult.

Lovely courtyard with table and chairs. Birdsong house was a great location near to everything. We had an amazing time, thank you for everything. Nothing, everything was brilliant.

The outdoor terrace was very nice. The large sofa in living room was comfy and there was a fully functioning smart TV. Location was fantastic for Ieper, 2 min walk from Menin Gate, directly opposite ramparts, 2 mins from Kazematten Brewery, 10 min walk to bus stop for both train station and Bellewaerde. Laundry facilities really useful, enabled us to pack light. Full size kitchen with fridge/freezer/dishwasher and ample crockery was great. Multiple bathrooms/toilets, fans in every room. Keypad entry instead of physical doorkey was great. Personally do not like the memory foam pillows.
• Frances (9/5): We had a lovely stay in the comfortable house. - The location is excellent in the centre of this pretty town. The house was very comfortable and as described, with the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a holiday rental and plenty of space for 7 adults. There was a very good folder containing all the necessary information and the host was most helpful and went to a lot of trouble to send on an item left behind. The facilities were as described but would be even better if there were another bathroom.

• Iain (10/5): Exceptional - This is such a spacious, fabulous house. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. All rooms have comfortable beds, which can be used as twins or a double. The property also benefits from a rear, enclosed courtyard space with outdoor furniture. The location is excellent, a short walk to Ypres and only 5 minutes to Menin gate.

• Calvin (10/5): Great house, great location, well equipped with great attentive hosts. - The location is very good, with only an approximate 5 minute walk to the Menin Gate/ Centre. The owner Vincent met us at the property after a call to say we where here. He showed us around and made sure we knew how to contact him if there were any issues. The house is very roomy and well equipped (TV with English Channels, fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with Ceiling Fans and a lovely sun trap courtyard garden complete with large outside dining table and chairs. Access was by door code, so no need to carry keys. We parked outside of the property (most days) and Vincent showed us how to use the parking card (time) he provided. There is a large free parking area outside the city walls just a very short walk away. The house had a information pack which gave us a lot of ideas for days out etc. The area where the house is very quiet and you are opposite the walls and tree line. We did not have any issues with noise during our stay, and found it a very quiet spot. Vincent was very helpful and came around a couple of times to take out the bins, ringing the door bell each time (the recycling collection is on various days). He also helped us find some British type food we missed (bacon). There was no much we could complain about. Perhaps am additional shower room. There are two bathrooms each with a shower, one with both a shower and roll top bath. Mornings made these a little busy, but there was no real problem.

• Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous house and a great host with a lot of knowledge. Would stay there again. A dog next door was barking at around 11pm each night was a little annoying but wouldn't put us off.
• Heidi (9/5): Perfect locations and great host! - The location was outstanding - a mere 5 min walk to The Menin Gate and 5 mins further to the centre of Ypres. It was opposite the city Ramparts which was perfect for an evening stroll (or early morning run!). I loved the small outside patio where I could enjoy the sun after a busy day visiting the WW1 battlefields. Kitchen well equipped. Sofa and beds comfy. We forgot a blanket for my Dad's wheelchair and the weather turned cold but Vincent, the host, kind lent us one which I really appreciated. I was very happy. Parking is not entirely clear. We had a disabled badge for my Dad so was able to park right outside but I am not sure If that would be the case for everyone.
• Peter (9/5): An excellent location for those wishing to explore the local history. - Its location to the town square and attractions is excellent and the accomodation was clean, well stocked and very homely. The use of singles beds made it slightly uncomfortable for taller adults used to sleeping in double beds. The upper flooring had very loud, creaking floorboards which disturbed other sleepers.
