• Angela (3/5): Poor - For those of you who are old enough to remember the show “Faulty Towers” and would be able to see the funny side of being ripped off, then this is the place for you. The only thing missing was Basil himself abusing you for daring to whinge about the noisy “heater” that only kept the mice warm. Had to sleep with my jumper on in bed, it was that cold. Talk about false advertising!!! The only mention of needing to bring your own linen is after you’ve paid the exorbitant amount of money that you’d expect to pay if staying in 5 star accommodation (except this one has a half star rating). The kitchen floor is carpeted from an era that isn’t on record which serves as a sponge for spilt food and drink and makes sure that a broken glass from 1927 still holds the shards for your bare feet to find if your dare walk around this joint with no shoes! You’d think with the amount of money they charge for a single night would have this place with all the mod cons, but no, just conned. Seriously, the real estate agent that “manages” this place shows its true colours in honesty. It should be ashamed of itself to mislead the unsuspecting trusting customer. The letter of rules given to you says you must remove rubbish before you leave otherwise you will be fined. We couldn’t find a skip bin big enough to remove the rubbish they call furniture and decor there. Give this place a miss!

• Susan (5/5): Quiet stay amongst the visiting wildlife - Beautiful view. Beds were so comfortable. Heater in upstairs main house did not work. Was extremely cold when we got home from our wedding. There was a rock protruding out of the stone wall beside the bottom parking space that could not be easily seen. This caused a lot of damage to the front of my car as I was turning in the tight curve. House has very old fashioned.

• Zane (8/5): We would go back without hesitation!! - Great vibe. Owner was accomodating.great location - close to beach and supermarket but quiet. Very clean. The kids loved the downstairs area and pool table No complaints. Having linen supplied would be convenient but by no means a deal breaker. Very happy. An outside broom to sweep the falli camelia flowers would help stop traipsing stuff up the stairs and into the deck
