Guest Reviews
- Niall (8/5): Fine for a short stay but needs some immediate infrastructure maintenance - A very quiet spot not too far from the city and the mountains with a shopping centre supermarket a very short walk away. The bedrooms and living areas are a fine size with the beds being comfortable. The heated towel rails are a very much appreciated addition. The upstairs shower pressure is so poor it is unusable. Plus there is no seat or lid on the toilet. The downstairs toilet takes forever to fill up (barely a trickle) so it can be a bit embarrassing in a mixed group.

- moshood (10/5): - It was absolutely 💯 excellent and perfect for staying in Dublin. I love everything about the property.
- Terri Humphrey (6/5): It was ok. - The location was great. We had five people there and the toilets wouldn't fill up after use. The upstairs shower did not have hot water and it kept blowing a fuse. We had an electrician come out as well as a plumber. 3 of the days we stayed someone had to come out to service the property.
- Ingrid (4/5): - The locality near bus stop and markets and clean beds were only positive things that we can say about this property (mayby nice staff by Whatsup more). We were disappointed of dirty house, first I had clean living room and kitchen, remove the spidernets etc. to be able to survive there (see photos). I supposed if we pay near 1900 euro for four nigths, the house and surrounding will be in good condition but we found out that nobody cared about it mayby more than one year (or it looked as). It is very pitty because the house is very nice...
- Wvdl (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Lovely house well designed could do with a little T.L.C. Had a lovely stay, thank you Garden could be kept better, would be nice to include a barbecue.
- Gregory (1/5): Property was in poor condition, not clean, and no response from management - The location was good for the most part. The bed sheets were clean and the internet was strong. Additionally, I thought that the house was quaint. The place fitted 7 people. The house was in not the best condition and largely unclean. The place was very dusty and spider webs were hanging from every ceiling. The dishes and kitchenware were poorly washed and I found myself having to rewash them. The dishwahser machine itself, I rewashed because of the filthy state that it was in. Pointedly, the washing machine, while it was wokring fine, was not very clean in itself and left a couple of residue stains on my clothes. The microwave and stove were so dirty, they were seemingly in unuseable condition. The door knobs, cabinet handles, and other such paraphanelia were not very clean or pleasant to grab. Arm chair pillows were stained badly. There was difficulty in getting a response from management on matters of the hot water and especially when the the security alarm beeped for upwards of 8 hours and I could not get a code from the delayed reaction. Also, one of the guest rooms had a very loud pump that was located in the closet, which made it very difficult to sleep at night due to the egregious noise.
- Joanne (6/5): The property has great potential and is in a great location. - The location and size. Helpful information provided prior to arrival. Cleanliness and comfortableness - There were only 2 pillows per double bed and no spares/extras anywhere. Towels for bath/shower use were small and upstairs shower was not working.
- Lasse (7/5): Seven nights stay in Walkinstown property met our expectations. - The size of the apartment is good. Neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. Short walk to nearest mall and bus stop. Kitchen range hood isn't working. Upstairs bathroom light isn't working properly.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (2/5): Poor - Good size Not clean : no instructions: shower upstairs no water pressure. Toilet downstairs no water pressure
- Davies (9/5): Amazing. - Had an amazing stay here, very nice property in a very nice location. The showers have very low pressure.
There was no oven gloves or tea towels.
- Carmel (2/5): V poor we would not recommend anyone to stay at the property - The downstairs toilet was broken and didn't flush.
The keys were not where stated it took 45 minutes to eventually find the keys in the electric cupboard not the key lock that was stated.
The outside of the property looked disheveled and unkempt both the front and the back. The bins had not been emptied for some time
the windows were filthy
the toaster was broken
there were no instructions for anything
No safety notices
No tea towels
all crockery, glasses and cutlery were non matching (as though from a charity shop)
We had two disabled people with us they could not shower due to inability to climb into the bath that also did not have a slip proof mat
The lights in the bathroom were not working properly.
- Aleksandrs (9/5): Superb - Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the center in 1.5 hours. There are bus stops nearby. The house is cozy and comfortable. Kitchen equipment was incomplete. Cutlery was missing for a group of 5 people. And a quality pan is missing.
- Irene (7/5): Good - The toilets did not flush properly and there were poor pressure in the shower. The beds were a little hard. No instructions how to sort out the garbage inside and outside.
- Pitre (7/5): Good - Hugh space! Very comfortable for 5 adults. Could have been cleaner. Lots of cobwebs, dust, and couldn't sit outside due to the back garden being overgrown.
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Sinead (9/5): Great property, nice quite area. Lots of local amenities. -
- Daniel (3/5): Not worth the price! - We liked the kitchen and the location. There was not enough hot water to take a shower, much less use the bath tub. The downstairs toilet also had to be filled with a pitcher of water every time in order to flush. The beds were also uncomfortable.
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Very convenient location, good safe neighbourhood Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): a simply amazing place to stay with enough space for a big group of people - it was very clean and spacious nothing, everything was good
- Noelle (8/5): Nice place away from city centre - The property is a nice house with a garden at the back. The open kitchen and living room with a bathroom downstairs was nice. The bedrooms however are upstairs with one other bathroom on the first floor. Supermarket and a small shopping complex was 6 mins away. City centre 15 mins by uber. Nice quiet residential area. Heating in the house and water was functioning including all the machines! Television had Netflix Small issue nothing serious! The rubbish from the previous occupants were in the kitchen when we arrived which made it difficult for 3 days. Usually rubbish is disposed of in the trash outside the house and we were surprised that it was left under the kitchen sink and no one cleaned it! We were told that it is usually taken away on Mondays from the kitchen but no one came and some silly excuse was given. we were also asked to leave our rubbish in the kitchen. The management or person coordinating with me was either not aware of the amenities or somehow did not represent the correct facts. we were told there is a nespresso machine ( espresso) and a washer and dryer but there were none. There is a kettle and a filter coffee machine which is not an espresso machine. Also the washing machine only washes and does not dry ( a little problem given the Irish weather) if u intend to wash. Also the management upon bringing this to their notice tried to deflect the topic with assuring that there is a coffee machine and a hair dryer knowing fully well what we were referring to! Later they accepted the mistake and said something about informing management! However we paid a lot of money for the property given the amenities we were assured of. It seems a little dishonest on the part of the property to collect money promising certain facilities but infact not providing the same. Booking.com really does no screening whatsoever. It’s better to book a house looked after by the owner as opposed to some management company who are perhaps not even situated in the same place and cannot come to any help in case of any emergency or physical requirements!
- Maria (10/5): Excellent hotel, definitely recommend! - The whole process of booking, sending over our details and getting checked in was really easy and not invasive like other bookings can be where they are constantly messaging before you travel. We were really impressed with the whole process. Absolutely nothing. Everything was great.
- Khadija (10/5): Had a wonderful time. - It was a nice cute house in dublin. Loved every room and the details of everything. There were ample of appliances in the kitchen and basic cooking starters like oil, salt and sugar. The dustbins outside the house were filled with waste I assume from the previous occupants.
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Steven (3/5): Poor -
- Antonios (8/5): Good accomodation, its worths the money we gave....If I decide to come back again I would prefere it - far away form the center, but very beautiful location and very quiet...It took aproximatelly 30 min to go to the center... Hot water didn't run....It was difficult to make a shower...Garden was unkempt, could stand outside...
- Florian (9/5): Superb - short videos as an intro to the key aspects (keys, heating, etc.)
quiet neighbourhood
- Sandy (9/5): Superb -
- Eibhilin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ovoke (4/5): Great property but poorly maintained - Location was good as it was central and just 22mins from the airport. Rooms are spacious. The property needs a deep clean. There were cobwebs all over, garden needs maintaining and bins outside were overflowing and smelly. It was obvious that the property wasn't cleaned for our our arrival.
We spent the first two nights without heating as the radiators wouldn't work. Called the agents and they said someone would come by to fix it. No one did. I sent several messages, on day 2, including pictures requested by the agent, and all we were told was that it had been passed on to a manager and awaiting his response. No one called back or came round.
- John (9/5): Superb - location space and privacy nothing
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
